Chapter 18
Just then another voice was heard "mama are you here?" as the kitsune walked in the door and was shocked at the sight before him. "What's going on?"
"Shippo! You're home!" as Kagome went to hug him.
"Papa, mama it looks like our family got bigger!" Rin giggled. "Mikazuki, this is your big brother Shippo!"
"I'm a big brother?! Mama, what's going on? I left for a couple months and I came back to this!" Looking at everyone in confusion.
"My love, I'll go hunt while you explain to 'our' elder son what's happening." as Sesshomaru kissed Kagome and took off in a flash.
"Come sit here with me, your sister and little brother while your papa gets breakfast. I'll tell you everything that has happened." as Kagome felt her heart filled with love for her soon to mate and her growing family.
Epilogue
Three years later…
Sesshomaru and Kagome were mated about a year after they courted. Kagome took over as miko for the western lands and fell into her duties smoothly as the lady of the west.
Rin continued her medicine training under Kagome and she sometimes travelled with Kohaku for further education and he continued to improve his fighting/ training skills. Whenever they plan to finally marry, Sesshomaru asked Kohaku to help him maintain the peace on his lands, which he gladly accepted.
Shippo was enrolled into the most prestigious demon school and has the highest honors. He is currently traveling the lands with Souten, his longtime childhood friend and now intended mate.
Mikazuki began talking nonstop. He was a very good at observation. His parents sought the best tutor to start his education early and he began swordsmanship under Captain Haruka.
Haruka fell madly in love with the pup's tutor, Akemi. She was a refined and polished Inu demoness with a lineage of scholars to the western house. They mated not too long after meeting and have a baby girl pup, Nina.
Sesshomaru is still known as the killing perfection and stoic inudaiyokai of the western lands. His strength and lands grew since Kagome became his mate. His lands lived more in peace than the other lands because they opened up to demons, humans and hanyous living peacefully together. The west became a safe haven for those who had nowhere to go or were casted out. A vision the western lord lord and his lady dreamed of that finally became reality.
The mated couple had their first born, a boy, full inuyokai like Sesshomaru except he had white hair like his late uncle Iuyasha. They named him Tetsuya. He was born six months after his parents mated.
Kagome is expecting once again but with triplets this time around and they are due anytime soon. Sesshomaru is over the moon as his family continues to grow along with his love and mate.
It began with 2 (Yours - Sesshomaru & Rin) then increased to 5(Mines - Kagome, Mikazuki & Shippo) and then 9 (Ours - Tetsuya & the triplets) in total!
