"U-Um d-did you mean to blow us both up?" Izuku, also known as Deku, spoke, not really expecting an answer, before the girl that he had just talked to broke through the smoke.
"Of course I didn't mean to you dog it was meant to sil-!" both suddenly froze, realizing that they both could understand each other now, but before Louis could continue to berate her...familiar...he broke the silence first.
"U-Um well nice to meet my name is Izuku Midoriya." he spoke formerly with only a small stutter before respectfully bowing, this quickly made Louis's mood better before she raised her head pretentiously.
"My name is Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière, a noble, and don't you forget it!" she declared confidently.
Izuku blinked, completely confused by the situation he found himself in, honestly, first when he was distracted a green portal 'ate' him, and then when he was spit out he was met face first with a explosion, not that it hurt any, then she spoke a forien language and then kissed him, followed by a weird language marking his hand, though the process somewhat hurt, having a rune carve itself on your hand hurt way less when you had experience turning said hand into ruptured skin and broken/fractured bone.
He looked around, now that he wasn't completely lost over her rambling in another language, and that a whole class body flew as one, he noted the very old style build of the room, mixed with some modern objects, such as the large bed, as well as the lamp on her desk, his fingers twitched, wanting to write what he saw down, before he heard the girl Louise say something about him being her familiar, shaking his head before Louise could even react began walking towards the door, and quickly exited the room, Louise trailing behind him, yelling about him 'obeying' her, but it quickly became clear she never worked out a day in her life, as he quickly out paced her, he frowned, he hated being rude, but he was lost, and he needed to get a good understand of where he was, passing a blond who was talking to a girl with a brown cloak, he noted it down, as a possibility to tell between different years, before he quickly got to the entrance and walked out.
For a bit he just observed the architecture of the place, completely different from anything he had ever seen, strolling forward before he looked up, and froze, their in the sky was not one, but two moons, one smaller than the other, one red while the other was green, before he suddenly felt a jerk on his body and he was suddenly several meters in the air, and then forcibly turned around, allowing him to see a very angry Louise, cheeks red from both anger and exertion, next to her was the blond boy from earlier, holding what looked like a rose in his direction, and trailing behind them was a girl with red hair and tanned skin, and began to taunt Lousie, talking about how she can't even keep her familiar in line.
Though Izuku was more focused on the feeling surrounding his body, it felt as though less like he was being picked up by the wind like he originally thought, and more like a metal cuff was surrounding his whole body, so seeing what would happen with a low percentage of OFA, 1% to be exact, not even enough for the green static or red lines to show up, and with a little concentration and a flex, he felt the cuff strain to keep him in his confines, before it literally shattered, quickly he oriented himself and dropped into a roll as he hit the ground before popping back up quickly, and saw the shocked expression of the blond haired boy, though Lousie and the red haired girl were still arguing, but they were soon interrupted by the latter mentioned boy.
"You, commoner! How did you do that?" the loud shout from Guiche immediately drew both of the girls attention, both visibly confused, looking over to see him pointing towards Izuku, who was, to her surprise, now uncontained by Guiche's levitation magic, just standing their confused and was visibly uncomfortable to all the attention on him, making her scoff slightly at how much of a pansey he was when he wasn't defying her orders, before Kirche soon spoke.
"Guiche, what might your problem be with Zero's familiar?"
Louise squinted her eyes at her familiar as he looked down and frowned, seemingly in contemplation over something or other she was sure was a simple commoners matter, but she frowned when she saw Guiche open his mouth to say something but then his face turned, looking as though he had bit into a whole lemon.
"N-never mind, just make sure you keep a leash on your familiar." with that parting statement Guiche turned and fled from the scene, Kirche slowly following behind, but then she turned and blew a kiss in her familiers direction, she felt rage flood through her, and she whipped around to look at her familiar, and paused, and slowly blinked as she processed her familiers response, or more exactly the lack of a response, his head somewhat tilted to the side, but besides that he didn't even bother to give Kirche more than a confused glance before turning his attention to Louise, looking lost, but a dark look crossed her face before she matched towards the now quivering commoner, before yanking his ear, dragging him back to her room.
Louise's eyes fluttered open as she slowly woke up, before she bolted up, and looked to the floor, seeing a empty bed of hay, and instantly felt dread flood through her at the very thought that it was all a dream and she would have to make a fool of herself, proving she was indeed nothing but a Zero, but before she could whirl herself into a fit, she noticed something out of place.
On her desk was a odd looking notebook, and as she made her way to it, she noticed it as the notebook her familiar had, and it was open, while she couldn't identify what writing tool was used, or even read the language, but she felt her breath hitch when she looked to the right of the book and noticed a detailed sketch...of her, she was in her school clothes, with her robe billowing behind her, her eyes seemed to almost be alive on the strange paper, her face locked in between a scowl and a look of determination, her arm was extended, wand in hand.
It...was beautiful, there was no way for Louise to deny that, but she felt her curiosity was peaked and and flipped the page, and found it blank, before flipping backwards past her page, and found a sketch of Kirche staring back at her, she frowned, before she noticed that their was less of the unreadable symbols on this page, and while the sketch of Kirche was well done, it was only a rough sketch, and only a bust of her body, unlike the detailed, full body sketch of herself, flipping the page she found another rough sketch, she noticed that there was only a single line of the symbols, and and while she couldn't remember a name, she recognized the sketch of the girl as one of her underclassman, the sketch itself wasn't anything special, that is if you ignored the fact that the full body sketch depicted that her robe was colored brown, but what caught her attention most was that it perfectly showed a scene she herself had briefly come across, realization flying through her as she realized that the girl was the same girl from last night that she saw was being hugged by Guiche, a basket in her hands, with the door their with the very same stone work indicating the walls and floors, it was incredible, it was fairly obvious that her familiar could have only had a second to see it, Guiche himself saying that he had seen Izuku quickly go by.
Before long she began flipping more and more pages, after the last full body one, it was the last one, but what worried her was that their was, though rough, perfect depiction of all of her classmates, Prof. Colbert included, though each one was only a bust of them, she shivered knowing that her familiar had been capable to memorize each and every one of her classmates faces, familiars included, in what could of only been a span of a few seconds, but before long she passed her own classmates, and found a different individual, not recognizing them she flipped to the front and began looking, pausing when she came across a surprise.
It was Izuku it looked to be a perfect copy of him, color and everything, he was in formal looking attire, and on the other page was him in a odd looking outfit, but what made her pause was what was at the top of the page, while most the symbols she had seen so far where odd looking, the words at the top where very similar to her own language, allowing her to read what it said, and what it said stunned her, 'prestigious U.A. Academy' mechanically she felt her eyes go back to the drawing of him in what looked like formal wear, and noticed that on the breast pocket of the blazer were the embroidered letters, 'U' and 'A'.
Louise's slowly processed this, while admittedly she didn't recognize the name, she also would admit she didn't now every academy's name either, if there was any other she amended to herself, but if this meant what she thought it meant, than it would mean that she hadn't just summoned some random meek, artist commoner, but she had just kidnapped, and branded a noble, she quickly closed the notebook, before quickly dressing and hurrying out of her door, as soon as she made it outside she quickly snapped at a maid.
"You there! Have you seen my familiar!" Louise angrily stomped towards the first maid she had seen, making the
maid quickly collapse in on herself, before she tentatively responded.
"A-Ah! Miss Valliere, come quick, sir Guiche has forced your familiar into a duel!" Lousie's eyes widened but before she could begin questioning the maid, she began walking off, gesturing for her to follow, she quickly scoffed before soon following the maid.
Izuku nervously looked at the crowd of students around him and Guiche, as he had found out, but that was just one of many, another being that apparently they were all noble's, one's who could use magic at that, the very thought almost made Izuku starry eyed, but he was quickly pulled back as Guiche once more placed the blame of his own creation on Izuku, he sighed, wishing for the thousandth time he was better at picking up social cues, but what was done was done, and while he didn't want to exactly fight Guiche, he was still marginally annoyed at how he had at first laid the blame on a harmless maid, and when someone needed help, Izuku refused to standby, so it was basically impossible to not stop Guiche before he could even strike the maid a second time, having grabbed the end of the whip, and then pulling, hard, though Izuku would admit that he had seriously overestimated Guiche, as when he had pulled, it had sent Guiche flying before belly flopping onto another table a few feet away.
Suddenly angry, almost shrill sounds broke through the crowd as Guiche began explaining the rules, and emerging from the crowd was Louise, but before she could even begin to try to berate him, he heard a student in the crowd yell start, and instantly Guiche raised his wand, and created what looked like soldiers, and from the coloring they were either bronze or copper, though then Guiche just flat out told him their made of bronze, almost instantly a total of twelve of his bronze soldiers surrounded him, five soldiers standing in defense in front of Guiche, this...was going to be rough.
Louise tried and tried to get Guiche to stop, but when the first soldier stepped forward, it instantly tried to impale Izuku, but as fast as the soldiers were, apparently, Izuku was faster, Izuku jumped up, completely dodging the spear it wielded, before his foot careened down, making contact with the spear before completely shattering it, and while shock was obvious on Guiche's face, with a wave of his rose wand, four more soldiers moved as one, two wielding blades tried to cross slash him, but a well placed foot stopped both blades before they could touch him, but another soldier swung its mace at him, this time Izuku's fist met the mace, also shattering it before it continued careening forward and hit the soldier in the chest, sending it skidding back, but he had no rest, almost as fast as he had moved so far, a much slimmer bronze soldier quickly swung its fist to his head, but Izuku's arm snapped up, blocking the hit without getting moved back at all, his left foot occupied fighting off both sword wielding soldiers.
With a heave of effort he grabbed the slimmer soldiers arm before lifting it and sending it flying towards it's sword wielding sisters, his left foot snapped down, sending the previously shattered spear's pommel flying up before a quick spin of his body had his right foot hitting it out of the air like a ball, sending it flying through the heads of both the staggered shattered mace soldier, and the soldier that once had the spear, they both immediately shattered, staggering some of the other soldiers that had begun to move towards Izuku at Guiche's command.
With a quick hop Izuku made some distance between him and the ten other soldiers, for a moment he simply stretched, apparently unconcerned about the looming death marching towards him, before he took a deep breath, his body putting itself into an odd fighting stance, before his eyes snapped open.
Louise would deny it tilli her grave, but she shivered as she looked into her familiars eyes, they were not soft and vulnerable like before, they were hard and determined, the way he held himself shifting completely, at the beginning of the fight he had looked like a desperate commoner just trying to survive, now...his eyes held the same look she had only seen in a few knights, eyes hard as they were prepared to throw themselves into a fight they may not survive, and it scared her just how similar Izuku's eyes were to thiers.
There was no warning as the ten soldiers descended onto him, completely obscuring his body from everyone's vision, Guiche condescending saying he was sorry he had to kill my familier, but then IT happened, the only warning everyone was a crack of something shattering, presumably bronze, before quickly a green blur appeared above the droves of bronze valkyries, he became visible at his apex, his eyes still hard but now cold, seemingly dissecting the soldiers beneath him, before his body shifted midair, his hand behind his body, and a bronze arrow that was not their before now captured in his fist.
He spun in the air, quickly building up speed before his body forcibly stopped as his arm extended, throwing the arrow from earlier back at the soldier that had shot the arrow, it was next to Guiche, and everyone was surprised when instead of missing the arrow hit true, completely obliterated the soldier, the next moment found Izuku back in the crowd of bronze, but he was far from done.
Kirche yelped as a piece of bronze whizzed passed her head as another soldier exploded into a shower of bronze, Izuku's fist impaling it through the chest, Louise grinned a cruel grin, if her familiar survived this, she would have to reward him for letting her hear such a delightful sound from Kerche.
Suddenly the mass of students as one jumped back as several bronze soldiers were impaled by an equally bronze spear, only stopping at Guiche's feet, and instantly his face paled at the sight, and so did everyone else.
Sadly for everyone involved, Izuku was still not done, a sharp crack drew everyone's attention back to the now dwindling crowed of bronze only four remaining from the 10 from before, not that it mattered as in the next moment Izuku threw himself into the air, spinning much like before when he threw the arrow, but instead his leg extended, and foolishly the bronze soldiers approached, clearly planning to surround him once more, but just as they all began to approach, instead of his foot crashing into one and stalling, instead his foot ran through all four of their heads, loping them off like his leg was a guillotine, and finally he fell to the floor, feet planted on the ground as he looked at Guiche defiantly.
Guiche, seemingly caught on the backfoot, waved his wand creating a small army of soldiers, but was visibly exhausted with the sheer effort it took to create the 10 new soldiers but Izuku seemed to be unconcerned, and with the resounding sound of the ground shattering, he became a blur, seemingly dancing among the soldiers, leaving shattered after shattered soldier in his wake as they challenged him, before almost frighteningly fast the last soldier fell.
Izuku was on Guiche like a wolf, only taking a small second to destroy his flimsy defense before grabbing him by the collar and hauling him off his feet.
"Yield." that was all he said, but the air seemed to almost tremble at the intensity, but instead of being smart and yielding, Guiche let his pride win, even with the knowledge that with how easy it seemed for Izuku to shatter bronze, than breaking him would be even easter, but foolishly he instead raised his wand, almost knocking himself unconscious with him using as much magic as was safe to use, creating a steel soldier, many were surprised, bronze was easy to convert from dirt using alchemy but it took a large effort to make steel using alchemy, but Izuku seemed unconcerned, keeping Guiche in his left fist, he turned his head just in time to see the steel soldiers sword swing in a arc at his back, but before it struck, a sharp *crack!* filled the air followed by the sound of shearing metal.
Standing there, Guiche unconscious on the ground, Izuku's leg was out stretched, and embedded into the torso of the steel soldier, was his foot, Louise looked at everyone's face, seeing as they all thought that Izuku was done for, but the steel soldier did not move to attack Izuku, and Izuku simply ripped his foot out of the steel soldier, letting tip over on it's own, and on closer inspection, the sword that had once been in the soldiers hands was now forcibly shoved into the body of the soldier, splitting it almost in half.
Osmond peered at Prof. Colbert, clearly as surprised at this development as he was, in all his years he had never seen something like this, he had seen commoners that were strong, but he had never seen someone be able to tear through a small army of bronze with such ease, and a single look could tell you that his fists weren't bloody, so his skin must be exceptionally tough.
"My...and you tell me he is the Gandalfr? I must admit, watching him fight...I don't even think he would need to use a weapon, but for now, try to find how the boy was able to do what he just did." nodding firmly Colbert turned head out the door.
With a deep sigh Osmond leaned back into his chair, but before he could reach into his secret stash, his familiar Motsognir hopped up on his desk, giving the report that miss Longuevuille had been listening in, he frowned, before his face went back to neutral as Longuevuille walked back in, acting innocent, but than a thought struck him and his eyes began to shine with hidden mischief.
The only thing that stopped Izuku from freaking out was that he was current in the middle of fighting an army of bronze soldiers, and they all refused to let him have time to breath, so when he hit the metal soldier Guiche made, destroying it, he finally felt his mind jump to the foreign power flowing through him, he felt his eyes be pulled to the shining runes on his left hand, his hand cupping his chin as he began to debrief himself, when he activated his full cowl, the first thing he noticed was that he felt the same, but then a new power fill him, making his body feel lighter and stronger, his instincts seemed to be a honed edge, not once had he ever though he could fight a small army and not so much as get a scratch, another thing he noticed was that he felt tougher, he knew that he was using only 1% mainly to test the waters, but when the new power filled him, it felt like he was using a higher percentage than normal, normally he would at least feel some strain, not enough to bother him any, but he could still feel that he was using his power.
He paused before he frowned, it felt like strain was the wrong word, thinking to himself intensely, when he used One For All it felt more like he was flexing, the more he flexed, the stronger he was, briefly his mind wandered to the one time Ashido-san had convinced the whole class to binge the first season Jojo's bizarre adventure, shaking off the random thought, Izuku started to try-a sudden wave of dizziness hit Izuku, he felt nearly all of his energy leave him after deactivating OFA, with a blackness tinging his vision, 'But...I hardly used OFA' was his last thought he passed out.
AN-
Now than, Izuku passing out is just a convenient place to cut off for a chapter, but I also did it for a canonical reason, if anyone has ever read Familiar of Zero, Saito passing out after using the sword only happened when he first used it, after that he only passed out from genuine exhaustion, but it's shown in the anima, that the first time he genuinely works out is when he starts trying to genuinely learn how to use a sword without support of the rune.
So he did not spontaneously start working out to make sure he didn't pass out again after using the rune, the rune just literally knocked him unconscious for unclear reasons, anyway I hope anyone who reads this enjoys this, I've recently rewatched Familiar of Zero and I was stunned at just how similar Louise and Izuku are, hence the title, and me writing this
Review, tell me what you all think of this, and that's an order, jk, but review please, I love seeing people's ideas and if I'd like to incorporate them, and just flat out constructive criticism, I welcome people that can help me refine my noobish writing skills
