Izuku suddenly stopped screaming, the fact the blade was talking finally registering in his head fully, and honestly, it wasn't the weirdest thing to happen in his life, so taking a few calming breaths, he turned to Louise, whose face perfectly described how Izuku felt.

"L-Louise, are talking weapons normal?" Izuku questioned Louise, partially knowing the answer from her face alone.

"N-No, not exactly anyways, there are things known as magical items and such, but if I had to guess, it is most likely a sentient blade, usually a blade that has some type of magical ability and is sentient, usually stronger than normal blades as well." Louise spoke, calming down quickly as she began to slip into a tutor like attitude.

"A-Ah, well I guess that explains how it's able to talk" Izuku sheepishly reasoned, taking in the fact there were things such as talking swords..

"HEY! I'm right here you know!" the sword suddenly spoke up.

"Ah, sorry" Izuku bowed his head towards the sword.

"Ah I'm just pulling your leg, the names Derflinger, the greatest sword around and partner to the all Gandalfr's in history." the now named Derflinger boastfully spoke.

"Though you can just call me Derf since it's easier." Derflinger spoke as an afterthought.

Accepting it by nodding his head, Izuku turned away from Derflinger, while he was extremely interested in how a sword could be alive, he doubted he would get any answers so instead he asked something that had been picking at his mind.

"What did you mean by their powerful gems?" Izuku asked Derflinger, his hand pointing into the large open case, inside looked like if it was a jewelry box, clearly foldable areas around it, but in the middle where four gems, they were all the exact same shape, they were cut in such a way that they looked sticks, and looking at them from the top they were cut as octagons from the top, extending to at least three inches long, the bottoms pointed into a sharp point.

Starting from left to right was a stick that looked like it was made of ruby, then a sapphire stick, next was an emerald stick, and finally a diamond stick.

"Ah them gems are special, they look like your normal ruby, sapphire, emerald, and diamond crystals, but really they're chock full of mana, each one's color pointing to its element, each one's fairly obvious, red equals fire, blue equals water, green equals earth, and clear equals wind, of course that's only what you two can see, there seems to be more inside." Derflinger spoke plainly.

Izuku took a moment to think about what he had just been told, looking at Louise's reaction when they were told they were full of mana, which to Izuku was fairly obvious what it meant, then they were either rare or expensive, maybe even both.

"What are you talking about you stupid sword!? The only crystals with mana in existence are the wind mana crystals that hold up Albion!" Louise suddenly definitely yelled at Derflinger, her want pointing at him, her fear and curiosity turning to rage quickly.

"Hmph, I'm just telling you what I see and feel, I agree with you that these crystals certainly shouldn't exist, but they're here in front of you, and get that wand out of my face would you? I can't even be hurt by magic in the first place." Derflinger rebutted Louise's argument calmly, as well as dropping the surprising fact of being unaffected by magic.

"What do you mean you can't be hurt by magic?" Izuku himself knew he was starting to sound like a parrot, but nearly everything Derflilnger said was interesting.

"Ah, as the missy said, every sentient sword has something special about them, some kind of enchantment of sorts, mine is the ability to absorb and nullify any magic that touches my blade." Izuku eagerly nodded at the information, taking out his notebook to note down everything he had been told since Derflinger began to speak.

As Izuku finished the last of his notes, absentmindedly closing the clasps to the case, before suddenly Louise's door burst open, causing Louise to startle and Izuku to yelp, both of them looking at the door, each with varying reactions.

At the door was Kirche, the buxom red haired dark tanned girl, a sharp and wild look in her eye that made Izuku feel like he was looking at Midnight, her left hand on her hip and a sheth in the other, a girl was trailing behind her, hair sky blue, red glasses and a book in her left hand, a large staff in her other, and dressed much more conservatively than the other.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Zero, if you would please keep out of this as I talk to my new boyfriend, that would be great." Kirche spoke as she stepped into the room, Louise quickly standing, the girl behind Kirche simply slipping into the room and sitting on the corner of Louise's bed, eyes blankly reading.

"Boyfriend!? Don't make me laugh, Kirche, he's never even talked to you, let alone the fact he doesn't even seem to think much of you!" Louise quickly spoke up, remembering the short sentence he had of her in his book, and turning she was met with the sight of Izuku completely ignoring Kirche, more interested in watching Tabitha than going along with Kirche's shenanigans.

"Hmph, that will soon change." turning, she looked directly at Izuku, "Hello darling! I've brought a present for you." Kirche spoke towards Izuku, catching his attention as he looked at her with confusion.

"Umm, p-please stop calling me that, it's sort of weird since I've only seen you twice." Izuku awkwardly spoke, his right hand rubbing the back of his neck as he looked at Kirche awkwardly, in any other scenario Izuku would be a blushing-babbling mess if someone suddenly said he was their boyfriend, but Izuku only felt tense as Kirche reminded him of something like Midnight, but her forceful demeanor some what reminding him of Toga, and that wasn't a pleasant thought at all.

"Oh you will come around eventually, but here! A present from me to you." Kirche suddenly shoved the sheath into his lap, resigned to his fate, Izuku picked up the much lighter sword and pulled only to find the ornamental sword from before.

"Beautiful isn't it? It was made by a germanian artisan-" but before Kirche could continue speaking, Izuku interrupted her.

"You do know this is just ornamental right? The blades made of gold, which would break if I even swung it once and hit something hard, and the grip is completely off and is uncomfortable to even hold, then the pommel, what's the point of putting expensive gems in a sword? They have no purpose being there besides being a hindrance, such as blinding yourself, or saying 'hey! Steal from me! I'm rich!'." Izuku spoke clinically, while he wasn't the biggest fan of swords, never even having a passing interest, but when Christmas had hit and Eri had gotten a sword from Fumikage, Aizawa had Izuku watch them as Fumikage taught Eri how to use it a little, Fumikage letting out a few facts here and their about swords, and even let Izuku hold it and give it a few test swings, so most of his knowledge came from Fumikage teaching him a bit.

"Err…" Kirche looked stunned at the ruthless break down Izuku had of the sword she gave him, caught like a deer in headlights, and even Louise looked startled, having assumed that he had simply gotten what he had at random, but perhaps he had a better idea of what he was looking for in a weapon than she expected.

"Ya know, partner, you could probably just rip those gems out for keeping and then have some mage's here melt the sword down to gold bars and then sell them at the capital." Derflinger suddenly spoke up, Kirche full on jumping back in fear, and even Tabitha looked a little surprised, but she quickly went back to her book as Kirche tried to regain some modesty, emotionally anyway, but Louise's snickering clearly didn't help with the blush on her face.

Finally seeming to gain her bearings, she huffed like Lousie had done many times before, quickly turning and grabbing Tabitha's hand before just as quickly leaving with a *Bang!*, slamming the door behind her loudly as she left.

Izuku popped his neck before doing what Derf had suggested, simply going over to the near by table and effortlessly twisting the two ruby orbs off of the pommels end's, then the gold warped as he pried the diamond shaped ruby out of it, surprisingly the ruby was connected from both ends so there was a large diamond shaped hold in the middle of the pommel, sitting the three ruby's on the table, Izuku followed the directions Louise had given him as she went to sleep, him going off to find where he could get the sword melted down.

Izuku quickly found where Lousie told him to go, finding himself at one of the large give towers around the wall, the top colored brown, and stepping inside he was met with a maid who was apparently forewarned by Lousie, her leading him to a woman named Chevreuse, apparently the earth professor where she simply waved her wand and the sword turned into two equally sized gold bars, thanking her, he quickly left before the maid from earlier approached him, this time him getting a good look at her.

She had white hair it stopping just after her shoulder blades, her eyes were a cold, icy blue, she looked old with a stern frown and some wrinkles here and there, clear callasses on her palms, a scare traced from the right of her bottom left, trailing down her neck and disappearing under her blouse as it shifter towards her shoulder, she was a good foot taller than him, making her look even more intimidating, her Intimidating aura only offset by her being in a maid outfit and Izuku being use to people being taller than him..

"Good sir, I was instructed to send the gold to the capital to be sold so if you would ple-" suddenly Izuku cut her off.

"U-um well, first, please don't call me sir, I'm not a noble, and It feels weird for an adult to call me 'sir', also, please have the gold sold at half the normal cost, I'd rather the kingdom be helped, not hurt from having more gold introduced into its economy." Izuku spoke as quickly as possible, the wizened maid's gaze reminding Izuku of when he first met Iida at the entrance exam, intense.

Suddenly the old maids eyes seemed to melt into something, while still sturn, but softer, "Of course, I shall make sure the gold is sold as you wanted, and how should I address you?" The maid's words had a softer tinge to them, like being spoken to a kind grandmother.

"O-oh just call me Izuku, Ms…?" Izuku trailed off.

"Lana, just Lana." with that the maid quickly disappeared with the bundle of gold, shaking off the conversation, Izuku turned to where the two moons where, the thought alone odd to Izuku, but seeing how close they where to the horizon, and that they were still rising, he decided to do a quick work out before finding somewhere or something to rest on because he was pretty sure hay wasn't the best thing to be sleeping on while sore.

Izuku wiped the beads of water off with his towel, apparently the only way to have a bath was a hot springs the school made, it was surprisingly japanese like with the hot springs split into two sections, one male and the other female, quickly getting dressed he made his way to Louise's room, it was still dark, the moons indicating it wasn't even midnight yet, making his way through the halls, Izuku is suddenly confronted by a large flaming salamander, Flame, if Izuku remembered correctly, and was Kirches familiar.

It's reptilian eyes blinked at him before suddenly lunging forward, but before it could get a hold on Izuku, he simply bent down and grabbed it by the snout, internally glad he had inherited his father's resistance to fire, the flames around Flame's body harmlessly licking Izuku's skin.

"Do you need something?" Izuku asked Flame.

The large salamander simply nodded it's head as best as it could, it's tail pointing behind it, releasing Flame's snout, Izuku began to follow him.

Izuku only took a single glance into the open room before quickly turning around to escape, but suddenly Louise was in front of him.

"What are you doing here you dog!?" Louise suddenly shouted, her wand pointed at him, but before Izuku could say anything, Kirche suddenly appeared dressed in only the bare minimum.

"Ah Zero, I was just going to invite my beloved inside before you so rudely interrupted." Kirche spoke without an ounce of shame as she continued to aggravate Louise, also cutting off Izuku before he could speak.

"Haaa, Louise, I was just coming back before Kirche's familiar suddenly wanted me to follow it, which I did, and when I got here Kirche's door was open and she was dressed like that, and I was about to leave before you showed up, also Kirche I'm not your 'beloved', please stop lying." Izuku was already exhausted from having to deal with Kirche twice as well as Louise's attitude, feeling as though he was in between a rock and a hard place, and sadly he couldn't just punch his way out.

"Hmph whatever, come on Izuku, also you better keep your grubby little mitts away from my familiar Zerbst!" Louise quickly stormed off, tugging Izuku along the way.

"Also Izuku, a maid suddenly dropped off a large bag of cotton, why is that?" Louise suddenly spoke up.

"You'll see." Izuku suddenly smiled, happy that his request was accepted.

Inside Louise's room, sitting where there used to be hay, was a large bag of cotton, sort of like a bean bag, and Izuku was sure it would be comfortable, so with a quiet groan he laid on the large bag of cotton, quickly falling asleep, Louise simply stared at his sleeping form for a moment before going to her bed to do the same.

Izuku tapped his pencil against the desk once more, while Izuku wasn't the best at academics, that title going to Momo, he was ranked four for a reason, so as he sat at Louise's desk, one of his notebooks out, he slowly began to decipher the world's language, although Izuku had taken the time to perfect his ability to speak english when he was younger, mainly because he was in another world, and that Japanese did not have any western roots, Izuku could only guess that their language was either French or Latin, and it had taken some time, but finally he had deciphered the world's language, and while he was still unsure how, he had deciphered startlingly fast.

"Ah, I see you've already discovered one of the uses of being the Gandalfr." Derf suddenly spoke up from his spot next to Izuku, leaning against the table to his right.

Mentally filing away the fact the runes saw knowledge as a weapon, Izuku instead responded, "I'm not the Gandalfr, I'm just their vessel." Izuku muttered to Derf.

Derf's shock was apparent in his voice, "Whatever do you mean you're not the Gandalfr? And what's this about a vessel?" Derf spoke loudly.

"Shush! And to answer you, Gandalfr is a living spirit that resides in the runes, which spell out their name Gandalfr, the runes implant themself on a fitting host, where Gandalfr claims them as her vessel." Izuku quietly spoke.

"Lad...through all the years I've lived, not a single partner of mine has told me what you have, but for now I'll trust you, the little lady is waking up." with that Derf quickly went back to sleep, mulling over the fact that apparently his partner was someone very special.

Taking heed of what Derf said, Izuku quickly put his notebook and the book he was using to translate back up as Louise woke up before quickly slipping out of the room.

Izuku's pencil danced between his fingers as it spun, currently he was sitting next to Louise as she had her magical classes, evidently the class was expected to wright down magic theory and then try to apply it, and while Louise proved herself to sufficient at understanding magic theory, having already finished before most, her nickname as Zero shined as when they were expected to perform magic, her spells always resulting in explosions.

"Louise...how did you make water explode exactly?" Izuku asked as he gave the room a once over, the windows were gone and multiple desks were shattered, a black soot staining practically everything besides those that had taken cover, Izuku, even though he was next to her, remained completely untouched.

"If you have anything to say about it then perform magic your own damn self!" Louise snapped at Izuku, but before she or anyone could say anything, Izuku spoke.

"Ok" the word rang through the class room like a gong, some quietly snickering at the idea of a commoner performing magic, others curious.

Izuku thought about everything he had read, everything he had heard during Louise's classes today, every time he heard about the application of magic, it was concentrating into an energy called 'willpower' A well of energy that could be shaped to use magic, and Izuku had a suspicion.

With a deep breath Izuku closed his eyes, his mental mindscape going to the infinite well of energy called One For All, but instead of infusing it into himself, or pulling on the mental reigns of Blackwhip or Float, instead he pulled on it, focusing it instead to simply rest in his hand instead of influsing his hand.

Eyes snapping open, Izuku leaned forward so his hand rested over the rest of the cup of water in front of Louise, and then mentely pushed OFA to spread to the water, creating a tether, before pulling his fist up, and to the surprise of everyone, the water jerked up, the cup of water lazily hovering in the air.

Mentaly focusing, Izuku forced the water to elongate, the water becoming a tendril before in a blur of movement whipped out towards the classes teacher before it seemed to pour back into the large jug of water in the teachers hands.

"Huh, that's surprisingly exhausting, though it might just be that my method was unrefined and sloppy." Izuku's words seemed to be a trigger, nearly everyone in the whole class nearly jumping out of their seats, many throwing dozens of questions at both Izuku and Louise before the class finally was forcibly settled down by the teacher.

"Now that you have all settled down, may I ask, Izuku was it? How exactly did you do that? I was under the impression that you were a commoner." Professor Linda spoke.

"Uh..I was unaware I could do that until just now." Izuku spoke up hesitantly, he had read some of the history of Tristan, apparently their were humans and the Elves and while humans needed wands to perform magic, or something else to act like a midian, Elves were able to do magic with no help at all, and he had just performed magic with no help at all, unless...unnoticeably Izuku's eyes trailed down to the gloves he was wearing, and unlike before, the sleek nearly flawless sliver of the glove over his hands was now spiderwebbed with a blue glow, but as quickly as he had noticed, the glow disappeared.

"Hmm, Louise, please take your familiar to the headmaster office, I believe I have a few more questions for him." Prof. Linda dismissed them both.

"When" was the quiet question Louise muttered as she and Izuku walked through the halls.

"It wasn't me." was Izuku's quick response.

A tiny bit of anger entered Louise's voice, "What do you mean it wasn't 'you'?"

"Like I said, it wasn't me, though I do have a theory that only Derf can confirm." Izuku muttered back calmly.

Suddenly Louise stopped, her eyes lit up in muted fury, "Answer me truthfully. Are. You. A. Noble." The question was forceful, Louise punctuating every word with a stab of her wand into his chest.

"Um...no? Noble's don't even exist where I come from." Izuku answered back.

"Then where do you come from?! Everything about you points to you being a noble but then you turn around and contradict that thinking!" Louise flailed her hands in exasperation.

"I-I'll tell you when we get to the headmasters office, I promise." Izuku spoke with a somber sound in his voice, his eyes downcast.

"Hmph, you better!" With that final declaration Louise stormed forward.

"Hah, this is going to be messy." with his piece said Izuku quickly jogged forward so Louise wouldn't be too far ahead.

"You say he was able to use magic, hmm?" Osmond, or Old Osmond as he preferred, stroked his beard as he side eyed Louise and her familiar, Colbert had apparently hadn't had a proper opportunity to interrogate Louise's familiar about his strength, but now the assumed commoner was apparently able to use magic, and apparently he himself hadn't even known he could until just then.

"W-well, yes it's magic, but I don't think it was really 'me' who did it." Louise's familiar spoke up, to Osmonds eyes it was clear the boy wore his heart on his sleeve, so it was even clearer he was concerned over something.

"Oh? Does that mean that someone else timed their magic with yours to mess with everyone? Because I can tell you that only two people in that class could do what had happened, and they are not very partial to pranks." Linda spoke up, the woman was small with light brown hair that stopped just before her shoulders, and if Osmond didn't know any better, he would have assumed she was a student.

"A-ah no, I think i-it was this." through his stuttered words he raised one of the odd gloves he was wearing, it was then that Osmond realized that it looked different from when the boy first showed up with the gauntlets, originally they were a silver arm guard that reached to the middle of the boys arms, but now the gauntlets were gloves, silver armored parts and cloth expertly woven allowed the boys hand to move flawlessly but remain protected on both the back and front of his hands, but where the-now gloves, guard reached to the middle of the boys arm, now there was a large, bulky, silver, thick rounded metal that looked much like a thicker collar made of a silvery metal that ended a couple inches from the boys hand.

"And what exactly do you mean they did it and not you?" Osmond pondered aloud, curiosity coloring his voice.

"Ah...well-" but before Izuku could continue, a hissing sound came from Izuku's right glove.

The bulky silver part of Izuku's glove released a quite hiss before with the sound that only Izuku recognized as that of a revolver spinning and the sound of a shotgun shell being dispensed, the four present watched as a bright blue small cylinder shape dropped out from the bulky part of Izuku's glove.

Louise acted first, picking up the blue cylinder, eyes going wide as she recognized it as an exact duplicate of one of the gem sticks in Izuku's briefcase.

"As you were saying Izuku?" Louise quietly spoke, her hand raised high as she took in the cut, cylinder-shaped, sharp tipped, sapphire, the other three in the room looking at it, but only one's eyes shone with realization.

"As I was saying, I believe it was the gloves, when I tried to replicate what a lot of what Louise's teachers said, I had felt a pull and was able to manipulate the water, but unlike what was described was feeling of your stamina draining after using magic, I didn't feel anything even closely relating to exhaustion." Izuku spoke as he took the sapphire from Louise.

"But while I didnt feel tired, I did feel something be drained, yesterday me and Louise went shopping and accidentally got a briefcase that apparently has crystals in it that are infused with magic, the shop owner was adamant that the gloves, boots, and briefcase be sold at the same time to the same person, and when I had tried to use magic, I felt like something had opened up before finding myself being able to use magic, so my conclusion is that the crystals are designed to give anyone with a gems specific mana type, will be able to use that element of magic, of course depending on how much is inside of the gem depends on how much magic can be used, I would also like to point out that the glove changed from a gauntlet to a glove when it first infused me with water mana, I also find myself incapable of taking off the glove's." Izuku explained, his voice growing more and more confident as he explained something that sounded completely ridiculous, but his confidence alone almost convinced the three mages, 'almost'.

"What heresy do you speak commoner!" Linda shouted, her wand pointing at Izuku in a threatening way as she glared at him, but before she could do anything more, Osmond spoke up.

"Professor Linda, please, instead of threatening the boy, how about him giving us a demonstration?" Osmond began to speak to Linda but pointed his question to Izuku.

"Of course." with that Izuku held his hand out, before in a moment the sound of a revolver rotating began, the silver cuff spinning before Izuku simply snapped his fingers, flames appearing from his right hand, after a solid ten minutes they went out, the revolver sound repeated before Izuku caught the now ruby duplicate of the sapphire.

"As you just saw, the gems hold mana, which when that element is needed, the gem's elemental mana is infused into the person and the gem is promptly dispersed after being used, for what I can only assume to be refilling, even if only a small bit of the mana in the gem was used, a certain amount of time needing to pass before the gem is ejected, and when the gem is emptied, it is instantly ejected." Izuku theorized, the events making sense as he explained it to them.

This was indeed a new development.
