Ben Tennyson was in his house watching the news with Kevin Levin...
"Wow, it feels like years since you became famous, you've never had proper time for yourself." Kevin said to Ben.
"Well I did defeat the world's largest threat." Ben said to Kevin.
But just then, an advertisement for a reality tv show called Total Drama Island,with the host named Chris McLean, where contestants were split into two teams, and they had to try to be the last one standing. The prize would be $100,000.
Ben smiled at the ad, getting an idea.
"I'm so getting on that show." Ben smiled.
"You really think you could get onto that show?" Kevin asked Ben, smiling along with him.
"Of course." Ben replied. "And imagine what we could do with all that money."
"I can see it now!" Kevin exclaimed.
"But I'd better get an audition in soon, don't want to accidentally miss the deadline."
"Cool, I'll tell Gwen about this so we can..." Kevin said, before being cut off by Ben.
"Let me guess, you and Gwen will stay here, just in case any villains attack?" Ben guessed.
"You took the words right out of my mind, Tennyson." Kevin chuckled.
Later that night, Ben was working on his audition, he explained that he was the one who defeated the world's largest threat. He also explained some things about the Ultimatrix, but not alot. The next day, he got an email saying that he made it into the competition, he told his parents everything and he also told his cousin Gwendolyn (I'll be calling her this so she doesn't get confused with the Total Drama Gwen), after getting the things he needed packed into his bag, his parents wished him good luck, but Gwendolyn had a quick word with him...
"Ben, you need to be careful, you're famous, but people could expose you for your Ultimatrix, so please be careful." Gwendolyn said to Ben, clearly worrying for him.
"Don't worry Gwen, I'll be fine." Ben said reassuring his cousin as he got into the taxi that was to take him to the docks to wait for the boat.
Ben was soon at the docks waiting for the boat to arrive. After 30 minutes of waiting, the boat had came and Ben was ready for his adventure.
A/N: If you are reading this in the future, yes, I did change the reason Ben wanted to go on TDI, since that reason sucked, and the only reason I wanted the previous reason to be the reason Ben got on TDI was because of a fight that happens between Ben and Vilgax during the cooking challenge. I'm still planning on doing something similar to that, but it won't be with Vilgax. So I hope everyone is doing well during... Current events, such as one place going over to another place and taking over that place. I won't say what those places are, because some people are sensitive to these kind of things and I don't want to sadden anyone, since fanfiction is supposed to be escapism from the world, and plus there's the reason I write Fanfiction. It's because I want to make other people happy.
