Hospitals save lives. Hospitals lose lives. If you go in critical condition, consider the statistics of you not leaving. Emergency rooms can be silent for multiple reasons, never know if the person sitting next to you is there for visitation or for diagnostics. A gruesome truth which everyone should know. Bakura looked around the plain room, you've seen one hospital you've seen them all. Only way there was a difference, if it was more kid friendly. He had been listening to arguments, apologies, guilt trips, so many different scenario it annoyed him. The one he was least interested in was the one he couldn't seem to step away from. Tea stood in a heated discussion with Marik and Yami. He'd tune her out but somehow he'd find his self tuning back in.

"What do you want me to do Tea?" Marik said rubbing the side of his head. Clearly he was frustrated with her constant yelling. "There's not much I can do currently. Not until she can talk and tell me what happened." From Bakura's understanding this wasn't Marik's first time dealing with the enraged female during such a dramatic experience involving her sister. It had been three days since Mai had been admitted and the same argument seemed to take place every time the three met.

He rolled his eyes, he turned walking into the silent room taking a seat where Mai lay. It was dark and it was silent. Which was fine with him. He sighed as he looked to see she was asleep. At least one of them could sleep. She had been hospitalized for three days, he had been up for three days. Kept checking to see if she was okay. She stirred, he quickly turned his attention to her, their eyes met. "… It's been three days.." he was slightly angry. She had also been silent for three days. Only person who got any type of response out of her was a doctor. "I want a name." his voice was a threat. 3 days was enough, watching her be in such horrible conditions sicken him.

No answer came from her. His frustration only grew. Patience was something he was now lacking. Every minute that passed was another opportunity gone for revenge. Then again, he did ignore the girl. Was this a silent treatment? Bakura shifted uncomfortably in the chair. Fine, if she didn't want to give a name, then she could at least say something, anything at all. Silence was unwelcome between them. He hated it. He stood, "…Pegasus..." it was quiet, but he heard it. A smile crept on his face, he quickly leaned over kissing her forehead before leaving the room.

Once in the hall he noticed someone else had join the three's argument. They all fell silent and turned their attention to him. "…Seto, what exactly is your partnership with Pegasus?"

Kaiba spat, "I'm cutting that contract short. Why are you interested in my business?"

His arms folded across his chest, "I want to bleed him dry." He raised an eyebrow at all the confused faces staring at him.

It took a few seconds, finally Marik understood, "She spoke?" His friend only responded with a nod with a slight grin before walking off. Marik quickly turned back to the other three he had previously been arguing with. "I do believe this conversation is now finished. Seto, I won't have any excuses, but it seems we have a common enemy and I need information now."
