Retreat.
HI! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I had a babeh! She's three months as of now! Anyways thanks for the reviews, it encourages me to continue and honestly writing might help forget the hopeless stressed days.
I'm thinking of a sequel. : D yes yes i am.
His phone was off. His email deactivated. His belongings were scattered. Torn sheets of paper, a laptop disassembled, a wallet left behind. Nothing was left, nothing to trace him.
For revenge to be best served, it takes more than the motivation to do it. You must be ready physically, in case of any consequences. You must be ready mentally, to erase the guilt. You must be ready to lose everything… including to contradict the reason as to why you set out for revenge in the first place.
Attention to every last detail was the most important factor to this entire moment.
….
He watched. The flashes of seeing the blonde battered and beaten still played in his mind. The anger still was there. The regret of not being there, not being able to prevent it. It haunted him. It had to stop. It had to end.
But somehow it all went wrong…. Somehow… it all was twisted.
"His blood while make it all stop." Bakura convinced his self as he stared down at the large knife he held. The room was unknown to him. All he knew, all he cared about was the target he had been following for months. Pegasus asleep in his bed cuddled next to his wife.
How could someone just lay and sleep while the world knew nothing of his crime. How could someone just stay normal about their day to day life without once thinking of the damage they had done.
That man had to die. What that man did haunted him daily. If Pegasus is dead then that ends this… all the torment… all the reminders!
He stepped closer to the resting couple. His heart pounded, now he'll forget. Now he'll be free. He'll never have another thought of that annoying female…
He froze.
Forget Mai? … this was done only to forget what drove him to such lengths.
He chuckled. Forgetting the one thing that could make him do what he would have never imagined, to do the abnormal? Then go back to what? Doing what was normal?
…never…
He walked out. This was his first time not finishing what he started. He retreated…
He forgot his own rules; to get revenge you must be prepared to lose it everything. The insanity that would take over after losing that girl was something he was not prepared for. He wasn't ready for it mentally and he was not ready for that physically... it was only an hour before he came walking into a hotel room turning on his cell when several new messages came popping up. Something else he was not ready for he had just acknowledged as he smiled seeing the pictures of the healthy female in some lavish topical place… he was not ready for romance…
