Disappointment to accomplish desired.
Uncertain of the current events taking place has to bring a better future or just more disappointment. A thought that occurs in many minds at least twice a day. A brighter future seems far, but during uncertainty it can seem farther. How does one find some peace? Even if it's just to put the mind at ease? Everyone has their own way to shut out the negativity, even just for a moment or two… but it doesn't always stay locked out.
It took Tea only seconds to finish packing up and place her suit case next to the open the door. Never had her and her sisters' home seem so gloom. Bright and sun shinned clearly through the large windows brightening everything in sight, but happy and sunny was not felt inside of Tea's mind. "We should talk about this… If I say stay would you?"
Quickly Tea's head snapped to her old bed, sitting on the mattress was of course the love of her life Yami. "No. I can't pretend nothing ever happened." Tea replied.
"Then I'm coming with you."
Tea only shook her head, now who was being irrational and emotional? "We both know you have too much here to do. I'll be fine I promise." The break up was months old now. Yes it was the one and only love she knew but it was torture to be the friend now. "I need to be with my sister."
"How much longer am I to suffer for what I said? How am I supposed to know you'll be back? You say you're going on a vacation but this doesn't feel like a vacation. You're running Tea… and you're making me chase." His anger was understandable. In the years they spent together he was never the one to follow her.
"No one is making you do anything Yami. You're more than welcome to be anywhere else but here…. In fact why are you here?" she folded her arms.
It came down to this? Hate that filled the room when reminded of the past between them? Space was the only thing that they needed. A future together was no longer an option. The one you love dearest will be the worst of enemies. This was the complex of a complicated relationship.
Yami stepped closer, reaction made Tea step back. His hand extended out to her. Tea rolled her eyes to turn and leave but she could not help but to freeze in her tracks. "I will not chase after you and pretend you're nothing less of what you should be." His voice held a strange tone, a promise, a threat, a recited line… a vow. The man was on one knee holding out a black box opened displaying something she had only thought real in her dreams.
"Marry me."
