So my life got complicated and awesome. I moved and have been working nights. Kind of nice i didn't like seeing a whole lot of people anyways. Well enough said hope you enjoy please review.

A slow night, she looked over at the clock a few minutes past midnight. She sighed looking around the bar she tended absentminded. A weeknight this late was always easy. Just a few customers left, no one she hadn't seen a million times before. Everyone remaining had an interesting story to tell. In fact pretty much everyone that came in during a weeknight always had a story to tell. Rather it been a new job to being left out on the street. No one came here late for no reason. She began cleaning, wiping down the bar top. An interesting song was playing in the background, something about some woman doing some man wrong. Ironic if you asked her but she wasn't against whomever was in control of the jukebox. Sometimes some people needed to vent. Everyone has their own way of self expression. Hopefully they remember to leave her a tip for putting her through such a horrid sound. She ignored it as best she could, turning back her attention to the bar a new face was staring blankly down at a shot glass in front of him. Analyzing in the way that only she could do she stepped in front of him placing her elbows on the counter and her hands cupped around her chin. With the best smile she finally caught his attention, "Let me guess a girl?"

"That obvious?" His accent caught her off guard, however the frustration in his voice gave her more detail of his possible scenario.

"Maybe not to most... so where is she this fine night?"

Readjusting himself in the uncomfortable seat he straighten up, he was tall. "Hopefully fucking someone."

"An affair... always tough."

He waved a finger, "We were never together."

"So... why are you here instead of chasing her?"

his face looked shocked, almost in disbelief. She watched closely as his eyes slightly moved side to side as if trying to come up with an argument or an excuse. Finally he rolled his eyes and slumped his shoulders down, "I chase no one." his response was low, unsure of his own answer. Must be serious in some way judging by his reaction.

"Look... I don't know you."

"Bakura."

"Serenity... look Bakura... girls are complicated. If you want her you have to prove it to her. Even if it means breaking whatever self choice you've made. You care about her? She must be special if you're drinking over her. Then go get her and show her."

"It's..." he sat confused, his eyes fixed on the glass in front of him, his eye brows drew in together. Has he not given this that much thought? Who ever this girl is she must be amazing. "...it's complicated."

"How complicated? You want her with another man?"

"Does your job require you to be mouthy?" a slight smirk crept on his face. devilishly attractive she had to admit, however she had to stop her self from taking a step back. Something about him in the back of her mind frightened her, you don't meet too many men who make you feel as if they want to wear your skin. Her small half second of fear was noticeable by him.

"I take my chances. I'm sort of a hopeless romantic... not that it matters but my personal story is i'm with a man because the one I love never seized the opportunity."

"Hopefully you can motivate him as you have done for me." he chuckled, throwing back his shot. "... Well Serenity if she rejects me I'll come after you in your sleep." he stood leaving a tip next to the glass

"Again I will take my chances..." she smiled.
