Disclaimer: I don't own Overlord just like it

This chapter wasn't edited by anyone except me, but soon it is going to be edited again. It was a busy week but so long as I follow my schedule I can keep posting to you guys. Thank you for all your support.

"I'd say you bandits got off easy." Shinirael said finally looking someone in the eye, taking care to note that the last guy had his eyes in a grimace.

'He shows off too much.'

The journey to the tundra was quite pleasant than perilous, of course not rushing to get there was a plus to that as well. But whether it was a long or a short one, Shin's group were still tooting his horn.

"Shin, you were a beast out there-a real Adamantite adventurer!"

The young man gave a roguish smile and gave a little bow, "You think so? Well, I try to be the best of course."

"It's true! I don't think even the Black Knight could have swung or moved as good as you did." Rui commented enthusiastically while Naberial's rolled her eyes, she's overplaying it and expressed her opinion with a huff.

"You moved so fast I couldn't even see your sword leaving its sheath-" before Shinirael could make a half-assed lie about what they saw, he found his hand pulled by Sanna and anchored in her ample bosom.

"It's not nice to keep secrets from me."

Her daring move failed to stir anything in Shinirael's nor Naberal's demeanor, yet her heart say otherwise. She was sitting separated from the others and it was gut wrenching when her Lord wasn't sitting next to her-even while disguised as Momon-and she wasn't with the Pleiades. Simmering with her dark thoughts, Allom bravely sat next to her trying to woo her with a song.

"I know scowling

"I know blanched

"You can't blame a guy for taking a chance

"I come up with the most atrocious swooning...

"But give me a chance

"Won't you...

"Won't you,

"Give me a chance?

"I would call you a worm, but I think frog is an adequate title for you-"

"A frog? Why a frog then?"

"So, that I would be the snake that would eat you."

Allom faked a blush, "Nabe-chan? You would consider eating me? Why I would be delighted!"

"It was just a figure of speech, go figure," she shot him down with the jeers and tease of their comrades with them. Most notably of Allom's bright optimism, and clueless personality. The rest of the night continued with much talking, dancing and dining on fine dishes. Pastries, breads, hearty soups with salad and wine to taste. All painstakingly prepared by their leader for their enjoyment.

"Remember when we only ate stale bread?" Wolf's face color looked like a cherry as he was flushed red with wine, "Well! Cheers to finally getting a finer meal to dine on."

Shinirael remembered all that mindless nose and swaying that went down. It ended fast when the yawnsome fallen angel leaned back and slept against the tree. Naberial had her own tent, Sallen had her own, and even though there was enough room in the singular tent housing men Shinirael preferred sleeping against the tree that excused him from partying.

Smoke enveloped the tree tops from the doused fire-very early marauders strode in; Shinirael feigning being asleep but still seeing them. They looked at the camp, defenseless and easy to pick off, at least until the skinny guy flashed his long blade butterknife. They trotted along too afraid to step into their encampment.

"Only thing this world is good for is its wretched ness." Shinirael murmured.

"That and I have more duties to help fulfill m'lord's desires."

His eyes opened to see Naberial in her Nabe cloths. Seems she was a one-set adventurer.

"That move you used, the one where you hit those worms without touching them, how did you do it?"

Shinirael smiled for a moment. It faded quickly as the little tickling feeling on Naberial's nose. The sensation was linen and silk like a feather duster.

"I have spells for elemental, healing, enhancement, aviation, illusion, and more junk spells bequeathed to me from my creator Khatana94."

"And the thing you turned invisible?"

"Were my wings. I call them My Judgment's because they reflect human souls."

The next thing Shinirael knew she was already tracing her finger on his midsection all the way around to his back. She got to feel what made the wings different. The only Pleaides with something that made them feel different were Entoma and CZ2128. She wanted to see and feel more but Allom or Īaragon or Rui whichever worthless insect was an early riser flickered her to his tent; arms on the door.

It was the boy who liked to sing-not someone to remember name's she could remember their malaise.

The morning was replaced from learning to inclined warm breakfast, blusterous jokes, and the vixen murmured who'd she want to be alone with.

The horses were eager to nuzzle Sanna and Rui upon departure. He was small and giggling while the horse sniffed his ear, but after a mention "they should get a room,"...Shinirael lifted him up and placed him on the horse saddle.

"Now that everyone is seated..." he looked around to see all six sweated after he helped their little friend, he cheered "Yomonos!"

The horses moved just as slow as they were walking-cruelty to the mares and colt, but Hynrich the animal trainer wasn't there to complain. They reached a bridge. A small bridge over a small tributary. Īaragon who was leading the way had barely got his horses' front hoof on when a small man in a green attire appeared from a poof of sprinkles and lint.

"This is my bridge, and to cross I take offer-"

Nabe unleashed a stream of lightning from her fingers. It surprised him and nearly charred through his right foot.

His trembling gasp was quiet only heard from the silence even her temporary allies didn't speak up against.

"Okay, maybe not pay the toll, but please help a poor leprechaun who lost most of his gold not too long ago, brave adventurers."

Naberial stretched her seconds before shrugging. "No, we already have an important quest greedy vermin like you wouldn't even be a memo for."

The leprechaun's mouth dilated from aghast to sullen uneasiness. The six adventurers strode across the bridge; if the leprechaun didn't roll in the trenches he'd be stepped on for.

The surly leader Īaragon looked back.

He saw the leprechaun still in the trench holding his knees and mewling.

"I don't want to die...please!"

His strongest fighters and scorn to the leprechaun looked somber riding together.

"Even if he's a swindler...that was ruthless."

There was a weapon a low rank soldier could get in clutch reach: an amulet that could weaken the undead-and if Ainz Ooal Gown was an undead so would he be weakened. In a nostalgic setting, the war room, this soldier and a multitude of other commander in different cities abut in one room to plan Ainz's downfall. In no time at all he was wretching a Death Knight with his battle cry and his glowing amulet. He clashed with a Death Knight, sparks skidding, and when the Death Knight swung his large blade...it missed the soldier.

He plunged his blade right in the Death Knight's torso. Despite undead's being unable to feel pain the Death Knight groaned and died, and the soldier raised his arms in the air to cheer.

This victory was a facade-a stimuli caused by a nascent larvae from Entoma, body latched tightly around his nearly mindless head.

The dark presence of frigid air and dark intent flushed the room with Azulea and insectoid Pleaides maid Entoma in the room.

Azulea promptly removed the bug after its bud was swelling with a thick stricken fluid. She then punctured her fingers in his left arm, slowly draining him until he was a husk.

"Excuse me, Ms. Entoma-what will you be doing with what's left?" Azulea asked.

"Variety of different things: feeding, extracting skin, even seeing if their skin can bloom like a flower. They won't go to waste. Want to try another one?"

She nodded. From the southeast Jack the Ripper and Corpse Collector sprung into action; Jack sewing and Corpse Collector bringing artificial life to the corpse. Dried blood cloyed the neckline of the corpses before, their heads reattached, and Entoma allowed to chew on an arm or a leg. The insectoid maid conjuring centipedes spewing a purple miasmic haze. When all limbs were reattached...her nascent insect baby was brought in close, pinching the forehead to his brainstem.

This soldier went through the indelible and inescapable dream sequence her child fed on-and it was a dream even Azulea would like, family. She wasn't stupid, vampires and succubus cannot get pregnant ergo cannot conceive children, but seeing wedding bells, gowns, a beach with cerulean seawater; a dog paddling in the water with the soldier and his wife, and a baby with rosey cheeks smiling at him...that sounded nice to her.

All that happy feelings went away after the self-regarding Shalltear entered.

The trees and dirt nourishing its roots were replaced by the frigid mountain stricken with snow. The four humans lumbered up pulling the reins for their horse and colts' nuzzle. Nabe and Shinirael's horses clambered up the mountain tundra while carrying the doppelganger and fallen angel. They weren't trying to show off, their horses were just stronger and more intelligent; bred by the hobgoblin stableman Hynrich.

Their real goal: get to the top and check the cave at the top before the other four humans get there.

"Wouldn't it be easier to just use your shadow puppets disguised as us to deter them from our destination?" Nabe asked him.

"The humans ask a lot of questions, so using beings only intelligent when tugged by someone is a bad idea." Shinirael explained.

"Can't you connect a radio frequency to a puppet and put it on our coms letting us listen to what these humans say and have them speak for us?"

"That would be a smarter idea. But what if they ask us questions while we find ourselves in a fight?"

"Isn't it the beauty of this world no challenge can distract us?"

Shinirael smirked. "You ask a lot of questions, and I find that to be beautiful."

Nabe and Shinirael made it to the top-they entered the cave forthwith.

The orange-splash candlelight revertebrated the image of the walls with the winding staircase. Shinirael expected to be greeted by loyal acolytes of Ainz when he walked in. He was greeted by a white mask dwarf with honey-colored hair. Shinirael did nothing to act when Nabe took a few steps towards the dwarf, before bowing...her head.

"Evileye." She raised her head up. "It's good to see you alive, but what are you doing here?"

Evileye didn't move or even look to be breathing in a quiet hallway; probably never knowing how a man she's never met heard her speak not too long ago.

"Someone I trust once told me to meet him here. Our talk didn't go well, and now he's packed up and left."

Saying the name of who she meant to his partner was a bad idea. She didn't tell them her original plan, anyways, not until she interrogated the black ponytail magic caster even more famous than her.

"If you're looking for-"

"Treasure and cave carvings mean the definition of nothing; something that doesn't exist and goes nowhere. I just thought we should check." Shinirael said. "Since your here...want to travel with us?"
