Disclaimer: I do not own Overlord I just like it

Some of you are probably wondering how I managed to finish the next chapter so quickly. I was writing this chapter out for a few weeks now and only started typing it out now. Interesting thing about my life: for the next three weeks I get Friday's off so how knows how fast I can finish this story now.

Evileye arrived at the spot the four adventurer's were and they were in need of her magical aid. Iaragon lost his right arm and staunched the bleeding pressuring a strap around his shoulder and using the back of a shield where the wound was. Rui's long staff was broken in half and he weeped old tears for it. As for Sanna and Allom...they were slumped against the walls...a stream of blood staining the walls behind their napes.

Iaragon was parrying against the one who did this with his lateral sword swings: a suit of armor without a head. As ridiculous as an opponent like him would be his onslaught was unpredictable as was his stamina. Iaragon would've collapsed and be slain if Evileye didn't unleash a volley of icicle spears at the armor!

It stopped, did a ninety, and sliced the spears in half.

"I'm content you managed to find us." A voice heckled through the hall, and it wasn't Iaragon's or Rui's since one was kicked sprawling in pain to the floor and the other was missing. "Now we can continue our fun."

From the headless cowl smoke seeped into the dingy hole. The smoke enveloped and materialized into a head. Evileye was now gazing at the bespectacled, fanged demon but with a complexion so pale he looked like a ghost. While he was showing off his appearance Iaragon crawled with one hand to Sanna's body before getting on his knees and holding her.

"Reinforce Armor! Soldier's Shield!" He chanted.

The demon stuck out his tongue while four metallic tentacles weaved out.

"Our hearts...their trilling together."

"Crystal Artillery!" With one whisk of her small left hand, she manipulated crystal shards to materialized into three tiny cannons-and they fired three large green cannonballs towards the demon.

It would have been easy to say he just swat them away with his tentacles, but he had something more risible for them. He stuck two of his metal tentacles into his mouth, used his bottom two to lift up his sabaton's to his calves giving him the illusion he was floating, and finally he projected three tentacle Cephalopod-esque projectiles right into the crystal cannonballs.

On impact they both shattered-one shattering crystal shrapnel while the other splattering the walls with mushy body parts.

"For a spry little midget you sure seem to have a turbulent amount of spells." He mocked, and then he attacked. "Trefoil Elongate Attack!"

He used two top tentacles and one bottom tentacle that lunged at her faster than even Nabe could dodge, but Evileye dodged the first one floating with Flight to the ceiling and dodging the last two swerving downward before they could reach her. Behind her mask, she had a cocky smile on her face.

"Being small is not so bad when someone can't catch you in a narrow hallway." Evileye mocked, cackling internally before raising her hands. "Crystal Meteor!"

A giant rock that was really made entirely out of hardened glass shot out of her arms and punctured the ceiling above. Then-it expanded to the size of The Giant of the East while still growing until it's top was in the ceiling of the room above and its bottom was almost touching Evileye's golden hair.

"Oh no!" He exclaimed, but only feigning his loss. "Someone help me; the imp is going to kill-"

He flailed a metallic tentacle that was all but distinguishable and managed to snake it's way past her eyesight from the dark ceiling where he coiled around Evileye and constricted her.

"As much as I loathe small people I think you will be a fine-"

Meanwhile, Naberial was now finished charging, she bellowed "Dragon Chain Lightning!"

I_I_I_I

An earthquake rumbled through the carpet of the narrow hall. Before he and everyone else could take a guess as to what was going a manipulated strike of lightning in the shape of a dragon was gaining yardage towards them at a staggering speed and ferocity, and it was even roaring as it drew closer.

"What titillating irony."

A simple touch was enough to stop the last Dragon Chain Lightning that came his way, but even with both hands and a lot of reinforcement from his metal tentacles he was run over and laughing maniacally while being trapped in the jaws of the lightning dragon.

Evileye was free but she didn't see the person who conjured that lightning to be a friend. She followed the black scrawl on the carpet while levitating off the ground. Her little escapade brought her back to the office Nabe and Shin were in. She pushed open the doors...saw blood slowly form a puddle gushing over the floor-and it was all Nabe and Shin's blood.

They weren't the only ones she saw. Their figures were too shadowy to see in the murky sky, but she could see their mana's emanating out and it showed a tumultuous amount of rawness. This sight would linger in Evileye's mind for weeks to come.

Fortunately she might live that long, the two figures vanished in a blink of an eye. She back-pedaled to the walls where Nabe and Shin sat. She touched Nabe's neck thoroughly looking for a heartbeat. She felt her skin warm, but only for a brief moment was there a heartbeat. She was relieved to know she was alive but lifting her was going to be a problem-too many injured who were unconscious she took a tentative step towards Shin fearing he might be dead.

She reached her hands to his neck...felt his arm as he squeezed her by the hand.

"You're alive!" She yelled out of surprise. He nodded.

Something about Shin was different: he was quiet and looked devious. He stood up with a groan that trailed from when he was sprawled to standing on his feet. He strided to Nabe picking her up by the legs and neck.

"Be careful!" She snapped.

He didn't respond to her overbearing protective outcry the same way Nabe ignored most of what she said to her.

Her worry dissipated, she spoke crisply, "Please help me free four more brave souls."

The bespectacled demon awoke in a dark room with foul miasma strapped to a wall with a collar between his mouth, but he was only titillated by all this. Then-the dark room was brightened by many yellow lamps coming on at the same time. He was not alone: a puffy looking creature he thought was a scylla like him was there wearing black dominatrix getup too small for its bloated body. Now at closer glance he could see it as a corpse; its left eye higher up than its right. It's hands were the size of ogres with red nail polish, a little pink heart surprisingly able to stick above it's bellybutton, and its whole body was sublime green unlike most corpses.

"Hello worthy prisoner!" It sang. "My name is Neuronist Painkill and I will be torturing you today!"

The demon smiled.

"This-is-the-greatest-day-of-my-life."

After Shin showed his assuage for the injured and helped his own party plus Nabe out...the tower completely sank into the ground. His adventure party and Nabe were now in better shape sleeping on paper beds joined by two important members of Evileye's team: Gagaran and Lakyus.

For the first time in weeks Evileye got to hug someone important in her life, Gagaran.

"You don't send us a letter for one week and we find you with another team?" Gagaran said wryly. "Good to see you again, shorty."

After hugging, Lakyus strutted towards them with her demonic blade in one hand and her other hand smeared with blood.

"All five adventurer's are okay but the big and tall one needs a strong mage for the blood he keeps coughing out...and maybe recovery for his arm. And the threat of this demon...has he been destroyed or stymied?"

"It seems so-his castle is no more. He didn't seem like a puissant who would run, but when I returned to check on his body...all I found was a hall cleansed of blood and flesh. He may return..."

Gagaran hefted her hammer over her head and roared "Blue Rose will be ready for him next time! When all five of us work together even that monster Ainz can't stop us!"

Evileye loved her enthusiasm, but it was heedless by the ninja sisters not being around. Evileye asked about that only to be told a strange answer:

"Their on a jilted mission by order of Prince Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself." Gagaran told her.

"Why would they be working under his orders? I thought only Princess Renner gave orders to Blue Rose?"

"Technically this is an order under 'her'." Gagaran said. From her strap in her exposed section of her black underwear she handed Evileye a letter. There were some dents in it, the paper was a little moist, but it was still readable for her.

Dear Blue Roses

I know these past few months have been unprecedented with Ainz's iniquitous rule looming over E-Rantel, Re-Estize, and Arwintar. I am happy to inform all of you there is still a glimmer of hope for us: Black Knight Momon has captured one of Ainz's top generals and is leading him to trade with Jaldabaoth.

Being two dark entities they cannot be reasoned with, but with careful manipulation we may be able to send him against Ainz himself. For this plan to work I need the assistance of both Tina and Tia respectively.

I know your allegiance are more aligned with my sister Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself and for that I can't imagine how audacious you must find me, but I ran this by with her first and she agrees the enemy of my enemy is what could end the world and keep casualties to a low.

-Prince Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself

"I see. So this mission is about being prepared for another war with Ainz Ooal Gown. How very perspicacious of him."

Just then Evileye got a call from the wagon driver they were ready to depart. Without wasting an opportunity she floated into the wagon Rui was sitting in. The young mage still had a broken spirit swept across his face. Grasped tightly in his hands was one piece of his wand, faltering with incandescent light.

Evileye, taking pity on him, sat beside him trying to cheer him up.

"All your friends are still alive and that's all thanks to you."

She squeezed her left hand over his right hand as it gripped his broken staff. Although she was a vampire her hand was warm to him. For a moment his eyes widened in surprise and he felt closure, until he slumped back into his dark void that was his spirit.

Evileye wasn't going to give up-when the wagon moved after the rest of the group were carried on...she tried to be the sister he needed.
