Somewhere in Star City a man in black leather jumped off the roof and chased a drug dealer throughout the alleys of Star City.
"NO NO NOOO!"
"Where are the Deathstroke's held up!?" He yelled as he kicked him against the wall. He grabbed his collar, "TELL ME!" the man started punching the thug repeatedly.
"Spartan!" said a voice behind him, "Calm down."
The man looked over and saw a woman in black leather, he realised what he was doing and looked at the thug bleeding over his hands. He backed away, horrified from what he had done. Behind him, a civilian yelled and screamed for the cops.
Spartan turned around and left for a bunker with the woman in black.
"What the hell happened out there Connor?!" she asked
"Stay out of this Zoe."
"No you lost it out there you could have killed that guy!"
"BUT I DIDN'T OKAY!" he shouted, "MAYBE IF I HAD A LITTLE MORE TIME!"
"If you had that time you would have killed him."
"IF I DID MAYBE...maybe I could have found him."
Zoe walked over and sat on the table next to him, "It's not your fault, he chose his life." Connor put his head down and sighed, William walked into the bunker, "Y'know Connor I still think that it would be a good idea."
"Not this again." Connor sighed.
"Star City needs the Green Arrow. Did you see that lady she and so many others have lost faith in the vigilantes, she was scared, the Green Arrow is a symbol of hope."
"I told you, William, I'm not putting on the hood. It doesn't belong to me."
"Wait where are you going?" Zoe asked as Connor started to walk out of the bunker.
"Out for a walk."
Connor walked over to his motorcycle, I need some help with this. He got on and rode out of Star City. He stopped in a little town in the middle of nowhere, he wandered for a while until he found the right house. He jumped on the gate and swung into the window of a little cabin.
"Hey," Connor said gently as he stepped into Mia's room.
She turned around, "What are you doing here?"
"Just here to say 'hi' "
Connor walked over and sat down on the bed next to her. He put his head down and sighed, "William wants me to take on the Green Arrow mantle."
"And you don't want to?"
"You know I do, but it shouldn't leave the queen family."
"He wont let me." she said, "Star City needs the Green Arrow."
"I just don't know Mia."
He wrapped his arm around her and sat there for a few minutes in silence. As soon as Connor was about to say something he heard a knock on the door, "Mia dinner is ready!"
"I gotta go." Mia said
Connor got up and exited through the window, as Mia walked into the living room. She sat down next to her.
"So who were you talking to?" Felicity asked
"No one."
"Was it JJ?"
"MOM." Mia complained
Mia spent the rest of the night having dinner with her parents. After she left to her room and called JJ.
"Hi."
"Hey Mia."
"Your brother visited today."
"Really?"
"Yeah he came over for a little while to talk about some stuff."
"What did he ask about."
"Oh nothing in general."
"Oh okay well actually sorry, Someone wants to talk with me I have to go."
" oh okay." she said uncertainty
After he hung up JJ pulled a mask over his head and ran into the night of Star City. JJ moved with other creatures of the night. They all wore Black and Blood Orange masks. They jumped from rooftop to rooftop.
"Hey Danny."
The thug turned around.
"I heard you got a visit from the vigilantes today."
"Oh no boss I didn't."
"You know what I think about vigilantes, and what i think about snitches."
"Boss I swear I didn't…"
He was cut short, literally as JJ swung his sword at the thug.
"What do we do now?" one of the Deathstroke's asked
"I am going to have a little chat with my brother."
