Hola, guys! So, I want to tell you a few things before I get started. Juniper is the OC, and has a big crush on a certain cat, and this has a lot of lovey-dovey stuff in it, and I have one rule that I'm going to go by: I will not post until there are five comments whether its on stuff that could make it better, ideas for the next chapters, ships you want me to throw in, or anything you want. I will respond to questions and I can give you moments. Love ya'll!
Chapter One
Two Birds With One Stone
Juniper, a girl with dark brown hair, green eyes, and is overly obsessed with Chat Noir, arrived at her new school. She had quickly become friends with Marinette, Alya, Nino, and Adrien. Of course, that wasn't the highlight of her day. The akuma alert was. Now that her mother couldn't command her every move at the school her mother ran, she could follow where the akuma was and get close up to Chat Noir.
The akuma was defeated, "Now's my chance to meet Chat!" Juniper's thoughts ran in circles, how would he react? Is he even cuter than the pictures in real life? It didn't matter- he was her hero.
Running up to Paris' superhero, Ladybug, who seemed ready to greet her, she pushed Ladybug to the side.
"CHAT NOIR! IT'S REALLY YOU!" Juniper shouted. "OMG!" She circled around Chat- it was a little weird.
"Yeah..?"
"I'm your biggest fan!" Juniper practically jumped on the poor Chat.
Chat looked her down. She was wearing a Chat Noir themed dress, black and green booties, and a green bow in her hair. "I see that."
"Chat- you're about to detransform," Ladybug said, hearing Chat's ring. Her earrings began to beep and she leapt away using her yo-yo.
"See you later, Chat!" Juniper said, waving her hand in the air.
"Crap, she cute…" Chat mumbled under his breath. "NO! M'lady is who I'm in love with…" Chat looked back at the place Juniper was standing. She looked amazing, but he should focus on Ladybug, not another girl.
"You're really into Chat," Alya said, who had taken her around for the ride Ladyblogging.
"Give me a break, just 'into' is an understatement," Juniper said.
"OK, girl, you more than just into Chat Noir, he's your idle," Alya said.
"Hey, guys!" Marinette said running up to them.
"How was hiding from the akuma?" Alya asked.
"I just kept running until I saw the ladybugs light up the sky," Mari said. "June, you like chasing the akuma with Alya?"
"Heck yeah!" Juniper said, her eyes filled with excitement, like she wanted to do the same movements over and over. "I got close up to Chat Noir!"
"What about Ladybug?" Marinette asked, but Juniper's thoughts were far from what Marinette had asked.
"She pushed Ladybug to the side to get next to Chat," Alya responded for Juniper. "June is a little crazy about Chat- and by a little, I don't mean a little." Marinette nodded.
"June, time for school, we'll be late," Mari said, grabbing June's arm.
"Oh! Right! School!" Juniper said. She sprinted ahead of them shouting, "Last one to the schools a rotten egg!"
"Oh you're on!" Alya shouted, following in pursuit. Marinette sprinted in their directions, her blue hair nearly falling out of her signature pigtails.
A white car sat in front of the school, and Juniper fell face first trying to stop herself from running into the boy getting out of the car. With a little struggle, she put one hand in the air and said, "I beat you, Alya." It was muffled, but Alya knew she said that.
"Come on, June, get up," Alya said, sitting Juniper upright.
"Are you okay?" came Adrien's voice, and he helped June get up.
"I'm fine," Juniper said. "But who's car is that?"
"Mine," an unfamiliar voice came. The group turned around to see a boy who looked uncannily similar to Adrien.
"Felix? What are you doing here?" Adrien asked.
"My mother got in an accident, so I am here to join you," Felix responded.
"What happened to your mom?" Juniper asked, not knowing the trouble that Felix had caused her friends.
"It's none of your business," Felix said, glaring at the girl. Juniper frowned and then spoke up.
"You know, you could just say you'd rather not share, that is a lot nicer," Juniper said.
"Stop being nosy, whatever your name is," Felix said, quite annoyed.
"My name is Juniper, but I go by June," Juniper said, a smile plastered across her face. "Pleasure to meet you, Felix." Felix was taken aback. No one had ever treated his mean aura so nicely.
"Please," he said sarcastically, "The pleasure is all mine." He rolled his eyes and walked away.
"Are you okay?" Adrien asked.
"Couldn't be better!" Juniper responded. Her eyes said something different. Her eyes became cloudy with tears, and she was trembling. "I gotta go to the restroom." Juniper said, and walked away.
"What's Felix's problem?" Marinette asked.
"He had to leave London, his school, his friends, and he doesn't like me," Adrien said. "My father told me he'd come to live with us, but clearly it happened sooner than I thought."
"That's no reason to treat June so rudely, especially since she was so nice to him," Alya said.
"Felix needs a chill pill," Marinette said.
"I agree," Adrien said. "You guys should go check on June, I'll talk to Felix."
"Okay," Marinette said, already heading towards the restroom.
"I want to give Felix a piece of my mind," Alya said. Adrien shook his head and Marinette grabbed her before she did anything she regretted.
"Not now, Alya," Marinette said. "We need to make sure Juniper doesn't get akumatised because Felix was a jerk."
"Fine- but he'll get a knuckle sandwich the next time I see him!" Alya swore. She glared in Felix's direction and followed Marinette.
Entering the restroom, Marinette pushed the door open. She could hear quiet sobbing, and they entered to see Juniper by the wall, holding her knees, crying. "June? You okay?"
"Is this what happens to people who are nice?" June asked.
"Of course not!" Alya said. "It's Felix's problem that he was a jerk, nothing you did should've made him frustrated."
"I feel a deep gap- like I'm being buried alive," Juniper said, tears streaming down her cheeks. "This never happened at my old school- maybe because they knew my mom owned the school, but this is strange. I feel so hurt."
"Well, Felix is just a jerk," Alya said.
"What can we do to help?" Marinette asked.
"Nothing. I think I know why he was so mean," Juniper said. Mari and Alya looked at her with a confused look written all over their faces. "I saw the way you looked at him. As if he were a virus- clearly you guys don't have a good past."
"You can say that again," Alya murmured.
"No kidding," Marinette said. "Three people got akumatised, including Alya. It might be best if you stay away from Felix, June.".
"No! I'm going to make him feel like a friend!" June said, slamming her fist into the palm of her hand.
"Good luck with that June," Alya said. "But if he hurts you one more time, I swear…" Alya was cut off.
"Chill, Al, I can handle myself," June said. "Besides, I'm used to disappointment, I'll be fine."
…
"She's not fine. I'm giving that jerk a piece of my mind," Alya said, but was caught by Mari.
"She told us not to intervene! Alya- please, let her try!" Marinette desperately said. Meanwhile, Juniper had worked her magic on the teacher to place Felix next to her. Juniper had buddied up with the blonde haired boy.
"Felix, come on, I don't bite," June tried.
"Sure you don't," Felix sarcastically said.
June's face dropped. The brunette stepped in front of the blonde and looked him straight in the eye. "Give me a break, Felix. I'm trying to be nice, and by now I know about your reputation among all of the other classmates, for the love of the earth, let the one person who is trying to be your friend be your friend!" Felix rolled his eyes, and tried walking away, but again was blocked by the angry girl. Alya, who was watching afar, looked like she was going to blow her top. She couldn't hear a word they were saying, and knew June getting mad was not something she could agree with.
"I have friends…" June didn't let Felix finish.
"Sure, you have friends but not in Paris!" Juniper shot. Her expression softened and looked at Felix with pity. "You're not the only one who has to live up to everyone's expectations." Felix thought this through. He was confused, he lived up to his mother's expectations every day, all he wanted was to be the perfect son- how would Juniper know this?
"Juniper, stay in your own business," Felix said.
"Don't tell me you don't notice you whisper when you're texting, right?" Juniper said, clearly ticked.
"Wait- I do?" Felix asked.
"Yeah. If you didn't want me knowing more stuff about your personal life, I think you'd not talk about it at all," Juniper said. "Oh. And maybe watch what you're telling your 'friends' in London about me." Juniper walked away, giving Felix a time to think about all Juniper had said.
Before he caught himself, he whispered, "Damn, she's hot when she's mad."
Oh, wonderful love triangles and cliffhangers! Remember: 5 comments and then I'll post the next chapter. Cya!
