Chapter Five
Sombre
"I'm back, I'm sure you missed me," Liba Bleu said, sarcastically.
"I sure didn't," Ladybug shot back. Her skin tight suit seemed like it, itself, wanted to crawl off her body because she didn't trust Liba, not one bit.
"You two need to work together," Chat Noir practically begged. Ladybug shook her head.
"I don't trust Liba Bleu. I swear she's an akuma!" Ladybug said.
"Then we can switch miraculous for a week. Maybe then you'd see, I'm just the same as you. A miraculous holder!" Liba shouted.
"Definitely not! If you get your hands on my earrings, you could give it to Hawk Moth!" Ladybug said in return. Chat Noir just watched them banter back and forth, trying to find some way for them to trust each other.
"Uh- what'd I miss?" a voice came from behind them.
"Oh good, you got the miraculous," Liba sighed. "How you faring?"
"Actually, I was really surprised when a wolf jumped out of my new watch, but I mean, that's perfectly normal, right?" the boy said, sarcastically.
"Maybe I shouldn't have chosen you. You gonna be that rude the whole time?" Liba Bleu asked the boy.
"No, just I mean everyone would react to a gift turning out to be something that gives you superpowers with surprise," the boy muttered. He had blonde hair and green eyes. His costume was on the gray-scale, and he had wolf ears with a tail, too. His flute was attached to his back and he mustered a small smile, which seemed like it was unnatural to him.
"And what will we call you?" came Alya's voice. She was holding her phone, obviously Ladyblogging. "Man, June is missing a lot. Too bad her mom said no."
"Go ahead," Liba said, nodding at the wolf.
"Sombre," the boy responded. Alya smiled ear-to-ear.
"Sombre! This is going to get so many views!" Alya said. A giant light beam nearly hit Alya, but Liba Bleu pushed her out of the way, and landed on top of her.
"Get out of here unless you'd like to be burnt meat!" Liba told her sternly, getting off of her.
"Whatever you say!" Alya lied.
"No, I know you're lying, leave because I wouldn't be able to live another day knowing you lied and I didn't stop you," Liba Bleu said. Alya shrunk.
"Okay, Liba Bleu," Alya said truthfully this time. She ran off, looking regretfully behind her.
"Okay, were all going to be dead meat if we don't get a plan," Liba said, and again dodged a giant light. Ladybug nodded her head, and ran towards an alleyway, the rest of the superheroes following.
"What's our plan?" Sombre asked.
Ladybug explained a very simple plan after finding out Sombre's superpower. And it was done fast. Ladybug called her lucky charm, a mirror, which was given to Sombre. But, no one noticed Liba Bleu muttering, "Time to grow," and giving the knowledge to Ladybug.
"Pound it!" all four superheroes said, fist bumping.
"What happened?" asked Sabrina, but Sombre and Liba Bleu were gone too fast for any explanation.
"Liba, I know that you're Juniper," Sombre told her.
"And I know you're Felix. I trust you, that's why I chose you. Just, please, be trustworthy. No one is to know you're Sombre or that I'm Liba Bleu. Thank you, Sombre," Liba said, and jumped away.
"Man, I love that girl," Sombre said under his breath.
