Always and Forever

Ch. 01 Goodbyes

Everyone said their goodbyes to Meliodas and Elizabeth, as they headed to the demon world portal, Diane hugged Elizabeth

"I am gonna miss you so much, I hope you and the captain finally get to live a beautiful and happy life together"

Elizabeth smiled and said "thank you Diane! thank you for everything, Everyone I am glad I got to meet you all, thank you so much!" she along with Meliodas continued walking to the portal

Meliodas stopped walking and with a big smile

"Well everyone its been a pleasure! take care and try not to have too much fun without me! Goodbye!"

As he waved and continued to walk along with Elizabeth towards the portal until they were no longer visible, as they disappeared the portal closed.

Everyone seemed sad, Ban said "Hey come on guys the captain doesn't want to see us like this! He is with the woman he loves and they are off to start a new life together, lets celebrate in his stead"

Gowther with a sad look on his teary eyes looked at Ban

"whats there to celebrate? The captain and Lady Elizabeth have abandoned us... I am sure now that they are gone...The seven.. No... I mean...The 5 deadly sins will finally disband, I am going to be alone again"

Merlin grabbed his hand "oh no you're not, you're coming with me Gowther, gonna need your help to fix Camelot"

Gowther stared at the beautiful magician with a bright look on his face "really? I am so glad! thank you Merlin!" as he hugged her

Merlin smirked "okay that's enough lets go Gowther, till we meet again everyone. If you ever feel like visiting as I said I will be in Camelot, I promised Arthur to look after his kingdom and thats a promise I am not gonna break..."

"Before I forget and before I go..." Merlin contined "Diane there is something I've been planing to give you"

Diane responded "What is it, Merlin?"

The magician smiled with a feeling of pride "I finally perfected that ring I was telling you about the other day, so here you will no longer need to take those shrinking pills"

Diane with a huge smile on her face said "OMG REALLY?! omg are you really going to give this to me?"

"Oh? you dont want it?" Merlin responded in a sarcastic and teasing tone

"Of course I do! Thank you so much Merlin, is there something I can do for you in return"

Merlin smiled "Oh there is no need, thanks to you I learned about the giant species and their biology. After all the research and samples I took from you, think of it as a thank you gift for being my ginea pig"

"HEY! Well I do apreciate it either way, thank you so anyways, Merlin!"

king Interupted "wait but how does it work?"

"its easy" Merlin replied "Either you or Diane kiss the ring and she will shrink, kiss it again and she will return to her normal size, she can also take it off if she wants to return to her normal size."

"wait, why me?" king asked

"you are the most important person to Diane are you not? Merlin replied

"Yes I am..."

"there is your answer, King. You will never try to put her in harms way and will always look for her best interest"

Diane smiled "I trust you with my life, King so I am okay with this"

"Also... you or king are the only people that can remove the ring from your finger, Diane"

"Sounds good, once again thank you Merlin" Diane then proceeded to hug Merlin

The magician smiled "Alright I guess now its really time to go, come on Gowther... Oh by the way captain said I could keep the boar hat along with momma Hawk, see ya!"

Both the magician and doll disappeared right before everyone's eyes.

"Hey wait!..ahh too late..." Ban said with a dissapointed look on his face "I wanted to keep the Boar Hat"

Everyone else started leaving as well till only Hawk, Elaine, Ban, King and Diane were left.

"well I guess its only the 5 of us now" Ban said

Hawk responded "you mean the 4 of you I am going back to purgatory to look for my brother wild! and give him a proper burial, it was nice hanging with you all, I am really gonna miss your scraps Ban" The pig said as his eyes started to tear up and he continued...

"I know my departure breaks your hearts but I must go to my brother, with this magic pearl Merlin gave me I will be able to go back to purgatory, see ya guys" he said as he smashed the pearl and disappeared right before everyone's eyes.

Trying to break the silence Elaine said "I guess its our turn now huh? shall we go back to the forest?"

"Yes lets go!" King responded

"Wait..." Ban interrupted

"I was thinking... The other day me and Elaine found a seed near the sacred tree" he showed King the seed

King responded "There's no doubt about it thats a sacred tree seed... You knew this huh Elaine?"

"Yes, but why bring that up Ban?" Elaine responded turning her head towards Ban

Ban smiling as he looked at her "Well I was thinking maybe you and me can start a fairy kingdom of our own"

"that actually sounds like a lovely idea" Elaine said as she blushed and smiled at the idea

King interrupted "wait! you guys! theres no need for that! really..."

Elaine smiled and said "Big brother, I want to have a new life with Ban. Its been so long and I just want to be with him"

King with a sad expression on his face responded "why not in the fairy king forest? you guys can be happy there cant yo-"

Diane interrupted King "I get it! Come on King lets go!"

King reproached "But... Diane!?"

Diane responded "No buts, lets leave the love birds be" she then pointed her vision towards Ban and Elaine and said

"Promise me you two will come and visit us sometime okay? Also... Promise me to make each other happy"

Both Elaine and Ban responded

"We promise" as they started to part ways with the Fairy King and the giantess..

"Okay I guess we better get going then..." King said sadly as he saw his sister and Ban as they departed

"Don't worry King we can always visit them or they can always visit us, they know where to find us" Diane smiled and winked at the saddened fairy king.

"I guess you are right Diane" he replied with faint smile on his face "You always know what to say dont you, Diane?"

She blushed and smiled at the small fairy that was walking with her "I told you before... I just want to make you happy, King"

"Diane..." King responded

"Yes?" Diane asked

"I love you with all my heart"

she smiled and replied "always and forever?"

"Yes I'll love you always and forever Diane"

"I love you too always and forever King"

He sat on the shoulder of the giantess as they continued their way towards the Fairy King Forest.
