Chapter 12
Three years later
It had been three years since I last saw Logan, three years since he gave up everything he had for me. The only thing I had left was a song that Logan had left for me called 'Bite My Tongue'. I still missed Logan but I knew that he wanted me to carry on, I had tried to contact him along with everyone else but no one had been able to reach him.
Logan's song had inspired me to do something I never thought I would choose as a career, singing. I was going to meet up with my recently signed record producer, Gustavo Rocque. Apparently he was also working with a couple other artists, but saw great potential in me and decided to take me on.
"Kendall Knight. Welcome to Rocque Records." Gustavo said greeting me,
"Now I listened to your song Passing Time and I want you and one of my other 'projects' to make it into an unplugged duet." He said
I had written that song after Logan had left, I didn't know how to feel about singing it with a complete stranger but I knew better than to argue,
"Ok, when do we start?"
"You go ahead, I need to make some calls first." He said walking over to his office.
"What do you want Gustavo?" I asked
"Are you forgetting that I'm busy today?"
"I don't care I need you to come in and work on a duet with my 'new project'."
"Yes, your 'new project' I would like to be able to look after Lizzie, Haley and Kyle for once, and why don't you call Rach? Heck, maybe even Tana if you're desperate."
"Bring them with you, put them in day care. I don't care as long as you get to the studio. Besides, Rachel is doing interviews for her upcoming tour and Lopez is scary, and that's coming from me."
"Tana? Scary? I never would have guessed but fine I'll come in. You owe me." I said before hanging up
"Who wants to go and see Uncle Gustavo?" I asked my three younger siblings
"ME!" They all shouted
I sighed as I made my way down the corridor,
"Gustavo!" I yelled getting him to appear out of his office,
"Uncle Gustavo!" The triplets squealed running over to him
"They're yours now, I'll be back in a minute I just have to change." I said heading in the direction of my dressing room only to appear a few moments later in black skinny jeans and a dark blue tank top that hugged my torso perfectly.
"In the dance studio." Gustavo said beckoning for me to follow him
I froze in my tracks, Gustavo's 'new project' was none other than Kendall Knight. The same Kendall Knight who I gave everything up for three years ago.
"Kendall, this is Logan Henderson," Gustavo said and Kendall looked up
"Logan, this is Kendall Knight, I hope you two get along because you have a long process ahead of you." Gustavo said turning to leave,
"Gustavo," I said, turning to face him
"If I find out you let Lizzie, Haley and Kyle have anything sugar filled like last time I will murder you, or I'll set Tana and Cam on you." I said giving an innocent smile before making my way over to the crates in the corner and sitting on them.
"So it's Logan Henderson now?" Kendall asked me
"My mother's maiden name. I didn't want my siblings asking why I had a different surname to them so I changed it." I said
"So let's hear your song then," I said, truthfully I just wanted to hear Kendall sing again.
He passed me the Lyrics,
"I've circled your parts," he said before he started playing the guitar

"we're not passing time." Kendall finished the song.
"That song was amazing Kendall." I said
"I must agree," Gustavo said walking in
"You were out there listening weren't you?"
"Yes I was and it sounds like you two know each other."
"Long story short, we went to high school together for our final year then my crazy Ex kidnapped Kendall and he would only let Kendall go in exchange for me so I gave everything up to save Kendall. About 5 months later I managed to escape him and my mum and I moved to LA because she and David had divorced. I then went to university until my mum gave birth to the triplets and I helped her look after them. Then you claimed me as your 'project' and that was last year. Shortly after my mum got cancer and died leaving me with three 3-year-old siblings who I was meant to be spending the day with but instead you made me come here and where even are they?" I asked
"Gustavo Rocque!" Camille shouted as she appeared in the doorway
"Logan, why did you call her?"
"Gustavo when I come back I want you out of here and in your office. And seeing's as I'm here do you mind getting Mr. X in so that we can work on my choreography." I said, then left the room and went to my dressing room to change again.
