Chapter 7

Suiryu wanted to find her.

After everything that happened with Bad, he knows now he has to get his sister out before she falls to the same greed as the Neo Heroes. He brought the kids along with him who have now started to talk. "Dadda, where are we going?" asked Okami.

"To see aunty Suiko!" he said and smiled. "You wanna see your auntie?"

"More aunties!" the twins cheered.

They have just started coming out of their shell recently. With Alley being busy with Bad, he was spending more time with them. They got socialized and were talking within a week. But now, they have become little chatter boxes.

"Dadda, what's auntie Suiko?"

"Family, she's daddy's little sister" he explained.

Before he could fly any farther, he paused as an explosion occurred within the city. "BOOM!" the twins giggled.

"Big boom, let's go see!"

He was concerned, he heard people screaming for help and knew that something was wrong. However, he also knew Alley would KILL him if anything happened to the twins while subjugating a monster.

But he had to see anyways.

He kept to the rooftop as he peered down. The kids followed when they saw Suiko for the first time. She was soaking in the praise of the people after finishing off the monster. Her eyes suddenly peered up and caught Suiryu looking down at her with, and then the twins followed.

"HI AUNTIE SUIKO!" they shouted proudly.

This made her pause. "SUIRYU!" using the suit's power she made a dead leap from where she stood to the rooftop. From there her arms wrapped around him as she wept. "You're okay, I saw the news… I was so scared…" she kept saying between her tears.

"Auntie, I am getting squished…"

She stepped back and saw the twins. Suiryu's chest puffed out proudly. "Sis, meet your nephews! This is Shiryu and Okami!"

She paused to the names and looked at him oddly. "I didn't pick them, Titan did when I was recovering with Alley and the family. They haven't refused the names!" he snickered.

They were both the spitting image of him but with Alley's eyes. She smiled warmly to them. "Hi…" she said meekly. But then paused. "Suiryu, why are you here?" she asked.

"Actually, I was looking for you… Uh… I need you to take that suit off." He said.

She paused to his request. "What?" she demanded. "What's wrong with it?"

"Trust me," he pleaded.

She sighed aloud and tried to find the switch that would turn the suit off. Yet as she looked, the suit started to power up once more. "Hey, what the hell…" her legs began to move on their own, then her arms… when she suddenly tried to attack him! Suiryu was able to avoid the strikes, but the look on her face only made it clear.

She wasn't controlling the suit!

"Suiryu… I can't stop!" she cried aloud.

He then remembered what Alley gave him. Prodigy wanted one of the Neo Heroes suits to study, and left her with a ball of slime. "Toss this on the suit, and it's as good as mine" he decreed. Alley had since give the slime to Suiryu since she wasn't out that often or encountered the Neo Heroes when she was.

Keeping his kids close, he reached into his pocket. Taking the slime out he landed a direct hit on her battery pack. But now it came down to how long it would take. "Sis, keep coming at me!" he said.

"But the twins!"

"It's okay!" he insisted. "Keep coming until you stop!"

She didn't want to, but the suit compelled her to do so.

It was a five minute battle, fortunately for Suiryu his skills were greater than that of his sister, even with a power suit on!

It wasn't long until the suit began to act up. Suiko froze as it suddenly melted off her body

She was finally able to stop herself, taking deep breath she wept. "Suiryu… I'm so sorry…"

He only smiled. His sons squirmed out of his arms and rushed to her side. "Auntie, auntie, you're okay!" cheered Okami.

She slowly got to her feet as she stared down at the slime that ate at the suit. "How… how did this happen?" she asked.

"Sis, we got a lot to talk about. But I need to ask you. What have the Neo Heroes told you about Metal Bat?"

She froze to the question. "Bad… I kept asking about him, they said he was out on a mission. But we always cross paths. I thought…" she then blushed. But the color in her face vanished the moment she realized what he was asking. "Something happened to Bad?"

He merely nodded to her. "Sis, you need to come with the kids and I, back to the Association… that way I know you're safe."

She appeared to hesitate, but then a nod came. "Boys, we're going back to see mom!" he called.

"MOMMA!" they cheered. "Momma has been busy, we don't see her that often" said Shiryo.

He gathered up the kids, and then leaned down. "Climb on sis!" he called.

"Just a moment… you need that goop stuff right?" but when she turned around, the slime was gone. "Wait…"

"Already picked up. Come on sis, let's go"

Suiko climbed on to his back. With a kick off the roof, he took to the skies, Suiryu sighed with relief, he got to his sister in time.
