Chapter 8

It was a private date.

Titan had been arranging it with Angie for some time now. Ever since she asked him to be her mate, he decided to make sure she wanted to be with him. So tonight would be a special night, just the two of them. But, with a difference. He kept to his serpent form and he insisted she turn into hers. "It's who we really are Angie, I rather have it like this if you are okay with that?"

Much to his surprise she happily agreed! "Human forms are so… weird." She muttered.

"Tell me about it, two flimsy legs that are suppose to carry you everywhere, not to mention it makes it all the more embarrassing if you lose your pants… Pants I hate pants…" he muttered.

She giggled to his words. From there, the two slithered off into the night, staying in the forest areas, hunted a few monsters until they came to a mountain that looked over the city. Titan sighed aloud to it all, Angie nestled up beside him when her arms gently started to caress his torso. "Titan… you will be my mate, right?" she asked.

He nodded to her. "Yes," he said without doubt. "If you don't mind that I can become something hideous…" he said offhandedly.

But she cuddled into him. "You're not hideous when you become that, you are doing what you need to do to protect your family… I want that for me. That way I know I am always protected!" she said.

His arm wrapped over her, drawing her in closer. The two laid there, looking up at the stars. Titan thought the night was perfect, until Angie suddenly blocked his view, there came a coy grin on her face as she leaded down and kissed his lips.

He didn't refuse, as she began a little more aggressive. "Angie… are you sure?" he asked of her once more.

She began to slink on top of him. "I'm sure…"

Snek gave a shutter.

"You okay?" asked Hunter.

"Dunno, that came out of nowhere…" he sighed aloud though as he looked on his back, there were four sleeping serpents and he felt he had to take responsibility for them. "Any word on when these rugrats are going to go home?" he asked.

Hunter peered over and shook his head. "Depends on when Boros leaves I suppose… I think he's going to be a while, he's trying to woo Luna into going with him. I think she's going to go this time…"

"Really? What makes you say that?"

Hunter shrugged. "I think like those kids there, the family is getting bigger, not to mention, she has kids now. She's gonna want more of them, and since Boros showed interest first, maybe… but it's also Luna, who knows what that girl thinks half the time."

Snek smiled to the thought, but he wondered if she would go. Luna was powerful, one of the strongest in the family. But would space offer her more? He couldn't say.

"SNEK!"

He jumped a little as Knuckle came into the room. "Shhh! Shut up!" he snapped back and pointed behind him. "I got kids sleeping here!"

Knuckle paused. "Kids?" he asked curiously. He peered behind him and saw them, but then, the smile dropped from his lips as he noticed one looked a lot like him. "Wait… I'm confused here… that one…"

"Yep," Hunter said with a smirk.

The four little serpents woke suddenly, the one that looked like Knuckle froze as their eyes met. Knuckle on the other hand leaned down and picked him up. "Hey buddy!" he said with great excitement. "I'm Knuckle!"

He couldn't speak, the little serpent fell silent as he continued to lock eyes on him, but he was terrified.

"Ease up on the kid, he doesn't know…"

"Why do you look like my dad?" Boon asked suddenly. "You… you look like my dad!"

Snek sighed. "That's because your dad was made from him!" he explained. "Uncle Boros cloned your father, so you could be born"

Suddenly, the other three were stunned. "Wait… our dads came from earth?" asked Crypt. "Does this mean…"

"Yes, they are here too," Snek said with a sigh.

The three slinked off his back. "Let's go find them!" called Crypt.

"But, what if we do and they don't like us?" asked Cooper.

"I can't believe that one is related to Bad…" Snek muttered to Hunter.

Hunter on the other hand snickered, he looked to the four on the ground. "Hey, you guys may want to wait until tomorrow. You just ate and also they are going to be out and about, I'll introduce you if you want."

"Really!? OKAY!" they cheered.

Boon on the other hand refused to break his focus from Knuckle. "So… you're sort of my dad too, right?"

Knuckle ho hummed the notion. "Sort of but not really… since they used my DNA when I was human… I'm not human anymore really. I'm a cyborg… you know what those are?" he asked.

Boon oddly enough, nodded his head. "I saw them on the ship too,"

"Anyway, you wanna hang out with me?"

Boon froze. "Just… us?" he asked.

"Well, that an I want to brag to my girlfriend, so three of us."

Boon nodded.

The other three would remain with Snek and Hunter, yet Snek wondered why Knuckle wants to show the kid off to Tatsumaki?
