I was standing in a clearing, a battlefield. Corpses were piled at my feet, and I was covered with blood.

A dragon advanced on me. Haku.
"Haku no! It's me! I didn't do this! SHE did!" I cried out.
The dragon merely growled and attacked me.
"Haku! Please stop!" I screamed.
The pain was overwhelming me.
"It wasn't me...I'm not...evil..."
Death was imminent.
"Haku!"

Haku heard her cry, felt her pain ripping through his body.
He ran to her, pulled her in his arms, let his calming spirit energy pulse through her trembling body.
"Please...don't kill me..." She begged faintly.
"I would never." Haku said seriously.
Kuri gripped him tightly. "Promise! Promise!"
Haku smiled and placed a kiss on her forehead. "I promise."
