Chapter 15
"What… is… it?!"
Knuckle proudly showed Tatsumaki Boon, the little serpent boy that looked a lot like him. "Boros was telling us that he took a bunch of our DNA and made serpent clones for some alien world or something, this here is a kid from one that was cloned from me! He's name is Boon!" he said proudly. "He's a paunchy boy!"
"HEY!" Boon protested. "I just eat well!" and pouted.
"Again… why are you showing me?" she asked.
Knuckle did a half smile. "I thought it maybe… you saw how cute of a kid I could have, you and I…" he said and the smile grew.
She crossed her arms on it. "I think I told you this once more. No kid… without a ring!" she said and showed her empty left hand. "They day you put a ring on this, I'll give you a kid," she said and smirked. "I do admit, he is kinda cute for a snake"
"Can I go down now?" Boon asked in an unimpressed tone. "I wanna go down."
Knuckle snickered as he placed the kid back on the ground, yet the moment he did, he froze at the sight of Max.
Lightning Max had been busy with his patrols, he's been oddly duty bound as of late. "Max!" Knuckle called. "Take a break man, you've been non stop since you got back!"
Max appeared a little worn out, but he smiled it off. "No worries, I just want to make sure everyone is safe." He was about to leave until Tatsumaki stopped him. He was frozen in place! "Hey!" he protested.
"Settle down, I know why you are doing this," she stated. "You want to make sure your sister looks good before the people of the world, Max, this isn't your sole responsibility" she stated.
The hold was released, as Max appeared startled by her comment. "How did you…"
"Tatsumaki… older sister of Fubuki!" Knuckle said in a sarcastic tone. "If anyone knows anything about being protective of a younger sister it's her… and me…" he said and laughed. "Dude, you can't keep running yourself ragged to make sure your little sister doesn't fail. You could bend over backwards for people and they would still shit on her parade. Not everyone is going to be happy with her. Not everyone is going to believe she is doing everything she can to keep them safe… that's not your job either."
Max sighed aloud. He smiled to him and nodded. "Fair point… maybe I should just lie down for a while…" he teetered over and fell to the ground, passed out, sound asleep.
"Damn, he really was going all out huh? Better get him to bed."
"By the way, has your family moved back home yet?" Tatsumaki asked offhandedly.
"Alley is slowly rebuilding the house, she has been more preoccupied with Bad before fixing the family home. They all get it and understand, but now I think she should nearly be done. She wanted to make improvements from the last blueprint."
She nodded but then pause. "How could she have improved that house even more?!"
Knuckle shrugged his shoulders, but either way, whatever she has planned will come to pass soon enough!

She cuddled into him.
Goliath smiled as Lilly leaned in and sighed aloud. His arm came around her once more as they sat outside in silence looking over the world from the side of the mountain that the Association hides in. "What a view," she said.
"Yeah…" Goliath whispered. "Lilly, I still feel bad for how this all happened, and I was wondering… are you still okay with me… being like this?" he asked.
She snickered. "If I didn't drop you the moment you asked me out, I doubt I am going to after a few years!"
Goliath smirked. "My grandfather… I got to meet my grandfather and I look just like him." He said proudly. "I always feared that because I had Amai Mask's power… I would be like him…"
"Never saw that," Lilly said. "Despite having the same color scales and pattern, I never saw Amai in you, not the least bit!" she stated proudly. "Besides, I think you're a lot hotter than he is, that's in his 'human form'!" she laughed.
Goliath smirked. "Thanks Lilly,"
"For what?"
"Well for everything, for treating me like a person, you know in my family, it doesn't happen often."
"Any time! So… where are we going to go on our date?" she asked.
"I'll take you anywhere you want!"
