Chloe returned like she had said she would but Kisaiya was still sleeping. Ange didn't dare wake her but felt more able to get up and leave Kisaiya now that Chloe was here.

Ange disappeared to the kitchen and made food for the three of them. She knew that she needed to wake Kisaiya so that the girl would eat. She was making the girl's favourite as it was her birthday.

Once she had made the dinner, Ange gently woke the girl up and encouraged her to sit at the table. It was difficult but the girl ate the food that Ange had put in front of her. Kisaiya zoned out as Ange and Chloe spoke. She didn't even listen as they started speaking about a virus which was going around in China and likely to come here.

"So you need to wash your hands as often as you can especially in school. Try and not touch the bannisters or anything" Ange suggested as she turned her attention to Kisaiya, who clearly wasn't listening. Kisaiya, just nodded, though she was unsure what her mother had actually said.

"Right, I'm going to get off but I'm coming around tomorrow when it's your party to keep mum company" Chloe said after dinner as she tidied her plate away and then excused herself. She reminded her sister that she could text her whenever needed but she also knew the only way that Kisaiya would speak to Ange was if she wasn't there.

Kisaiya disappeared to her room after cleaning up the dishes. She was so tired and just wasn't in the mood to speak. She knew that her aunt wouldn't leave her alone, but she wanted to get as much sleep and time to herself as she could.

She had guessed correctly, less than an hour after Kisaiya had disappeared to her room, Ange walked into the room and curled into bed with the girl. She hoped that snuggling up with the girl, it would help her open up. She didn't like the thought of the girl being upset on her birthday.

"I'm sorry" Kisaiya mumbled.

"You have nothing to be sorry for" Ange said "Do you think you can tell me why you are upset?"

Kisaiya took a deep breath, this was so hard for her.

"It's just, I'm one of the last of my friends to turn 13 but so much has happened to me and like they sometimes speak about things that they wonder about and I've been through it. I don't want people to know what happened to me but at the same time, it's so tiring holding this secret all the time"

Ange nodded. She understood where the girl was coming from.

"I know and that feeling doesn't go away. Maybe you could think of someone who you trust and speak to them" Ange suggested and Kisaiya nodded.

"That's what Chloe said. It's just knowing how that person is going to react that is hard" Kisaiya stated and Ange nodded.

"It's hard like that and I can't help you because I don't know your friends that well" Ange said feeling helpless. Kisaiya nodded.

"Why didn't you want to speak to me" Ange asked after a couple of minutes of silence. Kisaiya bit her lip.

"I was scared that you would say I'm too much work and leave me for Fletch's kids" Kisaiya admitted and Ange's face fell.

"Never, never ever think that" Ange said pulling the girl into her arms. She hated the thought of that even running through her daughter's head.

"I love you, you are my daughter" Ange said kissing the girl and holding her close to you.

"I can't believe you are a teenager now" Ange said keeping a tight hold of the girl. Kisaiya smiled.

"Sometimes I forget just how young you are. You are so mature for your age" Ange explained and Kisaiya just nodded into her aunt's chest. They stayed like that for a bit longer before putting a film on.

They then drifted off to sleep together as they snuggled up together.

It was soon the next morning and Ange and Kisaiya were up early for the girl's birthday party. She was going to the cinema and out for lunch with a few of her friends. There would be 6 of them in total and they were going in both Chloe and Ange's car. They were all meeting at Ange's house at 2 o'clock.

The morning went super quickly as they rushed about getting ready and setting up for the arrival of her friends. Chloe arrived at 1:30 and they waited for the guests to arrive. Chloe could tell that Kisaiya was nervous and squeezed her hand supportively.

"You two better not embarrass me" Kisaiya mumbled and Chloe laughed.

"Us embarrass you" Chloe said shocked.

"I mean it" Kisaiya said and Chloe and Ange both looked at each other and laughed. Soon Kisaiya's friends started to arrive and they quickly ran up the stairs. Ange was slightly nervous about having the 6 other children in the house especially as the virus was starting to increase but she was being careful as was Chloe. They didn't know what was going to happen and no guidance had been given out yet.

Soon it was time for them to leave, Ange encouraged all the girls into the two cars and they drove to the local movie theatre. They were so excited. There wasn't very many things on at the cinema but they had found a film that they all liked the look of.

When they arrived, Ange treated them all to popcorn and drinks. Chloe was impressed with how polite Kisaiya's friends were. She was glad with the girls that Kisaiya was hanging out with.

After the film, they went out for dinner. The conversation soon turned to the virus.

"Yeah, there is a massive talk about it, do you think we will come off of school?" One of her friends asked and Kisaiya shrugged.

"Some schools in other countries have closed" Another added.

"What does your mum and sister think?" Someone else added.

"I don't know I haven't asked them" Kisaiya said as she lent back to get Ange and Chloe's attention as they were at the next table.

"Mum, what do you think will happen with schools cause of this virus?" Kisaiya asked.

"I'm not sure sweetie, I guess if it gets worse then they might give you an extended Easter Holidays" Ange said. She really wasn't sure. Kisaiya nodded. She wasn't sure what to think about COVID. She knew it was bad in Italy just now and Germany but she didn't think it would come to much in UK. At least that is what she hoped.

After eating, they dropped all of Kisaiya's friends off at their houses before returning with Mia. Mia was going to stay with them until Donna had finished her shift. They arrived home and Kisaiya opened all her presents from her friends. She made note of what they had given her and then messaged them all saying thank you.

Afterwards, Mia and Kisaiya headed up the stairs. They hung out in Kisaiya's room for a while before Kisaiya looked at Mia. Mia was a friend she trusted.

"Are you okay?" Mia asked as she noticed her friend staring at her. Kisaiya shook her head before looking away.

"Are you sure because you can speak to me" Mia said and Kisaiya nodded.

"Do you know why I come to live with my mum?" Kisaiya asked and Mia shook her head.

"It was because of my birth mother's boyfriend. He abused me" Kisaiya admitted and Mia nodded.

"I'm sorry that that happened to you" Mia said. They spoke for a little bit longer. Kisaiya didn't speak in too much detail but it did help for her to speak to Mia. Donna soon arrived from her shift and Mia left.

Kisaiya walked through to the living room to spend some time with her mum and sister after a tiring day.

"Are you okay?" Ange asked from her place on the sofa. Kisaiya nodded and then snuggled up with her mother.

"I told Mia why I came to live with you" Kisaiya admitted and Ange smiled.

"I'm glad you felt able to do that" She said and Kisaiya nodded. She snuggled up with her mum again and this time Chloe moved over as well. They all snuggled up together.

Hope this is okay :) Sorry it's not the best and been so long.
