A/N:This is the last chapter I have ready at the moment. If it's liked enough, I'll continue the story! Enjoy :)

Libitina's POV

The sun was starting to set. As the light source lowered, the skies started to become a beautiful orange and purple mix. Several incandescent lamps began to glow all around to courtyard.

The watchtowers began to turn on their spotlights, beginning their routine scan of the barren fields around us.

By now, most of the others have congregated by the fence, basking in the beauty of the sunset. It didn't seem fair, how we lived very sorrow lives and every so often were granted serenity with something as simple as a sunset. It made me even more determined to find a way out.

Ilia and I's conversations dwindled, us just mainly enjoying each other's company. Yuri's words still bounced around in my head, leaving me with more questions than answers. It filled me with dread.

"Okay, Section E. Let's go, round up here near the doors. Let's go!" A guard calls over a megaphone he had with him.

With clear despondency, we all tread our way to the entrance of the facility.

"All in all, today was strangely a calming day." I hear Ilia say next to me.

I couldn't help but nod my head in agreeance. But why?

As the section gathers near the entrance, a strange shockwave pulsates through the entire facility.

"What was that?" I mutter, looking around for any anomalies.

"I don't know, but it seems to have the guards antsy."

I look to where Ilia was staring, see our section guards looking on edge, radios in hand and scanning for threats.

I see a flash in my peripheral vision and see the watchtower dissecting the fields and building.

"Something's going on." I say flatly.

The doors are thrust open and the Onyx guards beckon us with their hands.

"Let's go, Section E. Report to your area. Move it."

We fill in, shuffling through the same pearly hall. The doors to the stairway were sealed shut, causing us all to halt. I turn to a connecting hallway that branched down further into the facility. Ilia turns to me and shoots me a confused look.

"Libitina, let's go!" She admonishes me quietly, reaching to hold me in place.

I put a finger to my lips, signaling her to be silent.

"Don't you see? Something is going on. There's not a guard in sight right now."

Ilia goes to protest but glances around the hall, seeing that the only inhabitants were our section mates.

"I want to find out what the problem is."

Without giving her time to protest, I hunch my frame low and stick to the wall, proceeding down the hallway. Ilia huffs in frustration but hurries up to me, sticking close.

The hall's lights were flashing periodically, sending small panic attacks through us every time they sparked. We froze in place when it felt like the facility was softly quaking.

"Did. You. Feel. That?" Ilia slowly says through her teeth, keeping her voice hushed.

"Yeah, I did. Come on, lets get a move on."

I grab her wrist and lightly drag her along with me, keeping us low enough to not be seen from the windows covering the walls.

We slow to a halt when we heard voices talking nearby at the opening of a branching hall, the lights barely functioning.

I peeked my eyes past the threshold and saw light protruding from an open doorway. I saw shadows flash back in forth like multiple individuals were pacing around.

I motioned for Ilia to listen closely with me, turning our focus to the hushed tones echoing from the room.

"…exactly what I'm saying! Why would a whole part of the facility go dark out of nowhere? Especially an abandoned section?!" A voice says.

We hear a sharp exhale from someone else.

"Look, I'm not saying it's a coincidence or not, I'm just saying we need to keep our wits up. You felt that shockwave the same as I, that was the fucking burst from their teleporting bullshit, man!"

'Teleporting? What the hell is that guy talking about?'

"I know! But we haven't had a patient possess that ability since that witch went on a murder spree and broke out of the place! We need to be careful, if she really did come back, then every life in this place is in danger."

I push Ilia a few feet down the hall and we flatten our backs against the wall. My heart is beating frantically, and my chest is heaving. I turn to see Ilia's brown eyes wide, staring at me with realization creeping her face and I knew we were having the same thought.

"Yuri." We both said out loud.

We grabbed each other's hand and sprinted down the halls to regroup with the rest of our section mates.

We all stayed in the playroom for a considerate amount of time, with only one guard with us in the room. He stayed at the ready, not moving anything but his eyes around the room. He seemed to be more shaken up than the rest, his posture stiff.

The behavior of all the authoritative figures around us really started to affect the room. There was little to no conversation, and the lights flickering was increasing everyone's stress levels.

"Do you think it could really be her?" I quietly ask Ilia.

"I'm not sure. But you heard what those guys were talking about. Something serious is going on right now and it's involved with Section F. I may not be the brightest, but I'm pretty sure that Yuri was the only living person assigned to that section to….survive."

She gulped as she chose her words, like she didn't want to offend me. That or to protect herself.

I pinch my eyes shut and try to calm the screaming thoughts in my mind.

"Okay, I understand that logic, but why would it be her? What business could she possibly have here again?"

As I finish my sentence, I suddenly remember my dream. Ilia sees my expression change and adopts a confused look.

"Wh-what it is?"

I turn my gaze to her.

"I just remembered about that dream with Yuri last night. What if it's connected to this?"

Ilia taps her chin in thought.

"Well, were there any signs that you can remember that might be weirdly coincidental?"

I ponder for a second before freezing in place.

"Right before I woke up, I remember hearing 'I'm Coming', and then while we were outside, I heard 'I'm here'."

We both sat silently and didn't say a word for some time. I took a deep breath and decide to ask a question I felt was on both of our minds.

"So, what if it is her?"

Ilia looks deep into my eyes before answering.

"Well, I think we can agree on one thing. If she has actually come back, she's most likely going to come find you.."

She faltered and we remained silent. A section guard barges into the room, startling everyone in the room, including the present guard. He whispers something quietly to the other member.

"Er-okay, everyone," Starts the current guard. "Time for dinner, report to your quarters. Go on now."

We all quickly and quietly flood out of the Playroom and file into our respective rooms. My door shuts and seals behind me, leaving me alone with my thoughts in my cage.

I sidle along my wall and sit down, sighing audibly.

'What if Yuri really is here? Would she really be coming for me?'

I felt a small smile creep onto my face. The thought of seeing her again makes me happy, and I feel my body relax.

I pull out my shoebox of belongings and retrieve my writing items. Without a second thought, I swiftly get to work on a poem, not thinking about what I'm writing. As I scribble down lines and lines of text, I keep peeking at the title I wrote at the top, 'Coming Home'.

…..

Andrew's POV

My eyes flickered open and I was greeted with….darkness. Well, almost darkness. There were dim lights protruding from the ceiling, almost like emergency lights. Their lack of shine shows that they've been in use for quite some time.

I realize I am lay down face first and shakily push myself up. The floor is damp and I notice the sound of dripping water nearby. I ready myself on my knees and take a better look at my surroundings.

The room was a circular, the walls a mixture of stone and tile. There was one, large rectangular window that was placed on one end of the room. The glass was cracked and shattered.

A sour stench flooded my nostrils, a mixture of mold and decay. I covered my mouth to refrain from vomiting.

"Where in the fuck am I?" I mutter with disdain, my voice echoing off the inner walls.

I pinched my eyes shut to recall the events before this.

'I went and saw Yuri and then…wait, Yuri. Where the hell is Yuri? What did she do to me?'

I lifted my shirt up to cover my nose for a makeshift mask and looked for an exit. Near the shattered window was an opening, the door missing entirely. I slowly walked my way to the exit, tiptoeing as if to not startle anything.

When I reached the doorway, I was met with a long hallway going in either direction. The lights that hung overhead were dimly lit and sparking.

"What the hell…" I mutter to myself as I take cautious steps into the hall.

The disarray that was displayed brought me assume that a terrible incident occurred. The walls wore mismatched colors, with something splattered on both the walls and assorted windows that were littered throughout the hall.

Doors were ripped off hinges and crushed to rubble, glass covered the broken tile floor. The same sour stench permeated the hall as well, causing me to stay covered more than ever.

As I slowly strode down the hall, I could feel my nerves on end. I was in a completely alien place, barely lit with the clear signs of days-old chaos. With every step, my heart pounded in my chest. My head was on a swivel, jerking every which way whenever I heard a sound.

I felt alone and more accurately, afraid. Other than the soft sparking of the dying lights overhead, all that was heard was my soft, haggard breathing.

I peered into each window I passed by and was filling more and more with dread. Beds were upturned, stainless steal toilets and showers were scattered in pieces, the walls peeling and fading with assorted colors.

"This must've been some sort of prison, maybe a riot happened or something…" I mutter to myself.

I reached the end of hall, where there was a blocked off doorway. I tried for the hatch, but it was locked. The door itself seemed to be in a better condition, no doubt put in place as a blockade from the rest of….whatever this place is.

I curse silently to myself and turn my attention back to the hallway. Directly next to the exit, a doorless room lay. I cautiously entered, immediately noticing its chaos.

It seemed to be an office of some kind. There were old, rusted file cabinets against walls, a powered-off desktop computer on a half-broken desk, and several unusable chairs. There were multiple monitors hung up on a rail system above the computer which a camera right next to it. I looked out a window that was behind me, gazing back into the hallway.

'Were there cameras in each of the rooms? What the hell kind of place is this?'

I navigated my way clumsily through some drawers is the broken desk, finding nothing. I cursed and locked my eyes on the cabinets across the room.

I jumped over some rubble and clasped my hand on one of the drawers. I pushed in the latch and pulled, the metal drawer scraping on the rusted exterior. I winced and prayed no living thing heard the atrocious sound.

I peered inside what little I opened and noticed some worn manilla folders. I clawed a file out and moved across the room under one of the only flickering lights. I opened up the folder and saw several documents. I split the parchments and pulled the top page.

'Medical Examination Report'

I scanned the page and became increasingly stressed.

'..The following occasional behaviors have been noted and should be ignored in future examinations: Twitching; vocal tics; biting; epiphora; vomiting; screaming; harm to examiner; harm to self; misplaced laughter. Any self-harm attempts must be interrupted immediately..'

Below this strange text was a list of what appeared to be tests with various results. I didn't understand what I was reading, but I knew it was something beyond my comprehension. I scanned below some more test results and found a paragraph of text that ran my blood cold.

'..Yuri has not yet recovered from the termination of XXXXXX and is not expected to do so in the near future. Continuing to administer these tests will only accelerate the deterioration of Yuri's health. You are choosing to avoid the measure necessary to prevent a repeat scenario, Doctor. Will you not have as much faith in your personnel as you do in your God?..'

I put the page back in the folder and dropped it onto the desk.

"Yuri? Why the hell is this report talking about Yuri?"

I heard a soft hissing sound behind me and my heart stopped. I whipped my head around to the doorway and saw nothing. Although my eyes were slowly adjusting to the darkness, I was mostly blind in this alien environment.

I stood completely still, not daring to move a muscle. My heard was pounding violently against my chest and I felt hopeless. No other sounds were heard, but I could still feel the sting of someone's eyes on me.

A soft, red blinking glow cause my eye next to the doorway. I cautiously crossed the room and ran my finger over a red button attached to a steel panel on the wall. There was a small sign above the door, though over time it has deteriorated and is left it mostly unreadable.

Unable to make out any of the words, I slowly pressed the button in. I heard a whizzing mechanism kick into life and the hissing of locks. I stood still, waiting for the noises to subside. I poked my head out of the office, eyeing the locked door.

I slowly move up to the hatch and tried the handle, this time giving way and heaving down, the sounds of metal seals opening. I pulled (not expecting the weight but heaving nonetheless) the door open and was hit with cool air.

Before I could take a step, I heard the hissing sound again. I froze and pushed my back up against the wall. I felt a whoosh through the air past me and out the door. I pinched my eyes shut and controlled my breathing.

The presence seemed to have dissipated, leaving me once again alone. I took a deep breath and walked through the steal hatch, having me enter a square room.

It reminded me of an entryway, or a lobby. There was a window that I realized was in the office. The room was desolate, with much less carnage than the halls behind me. Other that some faded burn marks and peeled paint, it was relatively in decent condition.

Directly in front of me was a set of double doors. I paced forward and grabbed the knob, slowly opening the door.

I walked through, hearing the door softly latch shut behind me. I was greeted with a square room, with hallways on either side. The lights flickered overhead, but foul odor was finally gone.

I sighed in relief, until I heard the rumble of boots nearby. In no time, I was surrounded by dozens of guards, all pointing some sort of rifles and batons my direction, the weapons glowing and hissing with energy.

I yelped and threw my hands up instinctually.

"You! Halt! Identify yourself!"

My wide eyes darted around the room, meeting with the faces of each guard. Although they all had stern demeanors, I saw a hint of something else in each of their eyes…..fear.

"Uh-um, my name is Andrew Coleman-" I stammer out.

A man steps forward, presumably the one in charge, and slowly paces towards me with his rifle still at the ready.

"Identify your section!" He roars out.

I flinch as his intensity.

"S-section? What do you mean? Look, I don't even know what is going on right now." I say, stumbling on my words.

I heard the charging of energy in front of me.

"Non-compliance. Apprehend him." The head guard says.

I had barely any time to comprehend what he meant before I felt a sharp pain against my side, sparks spreading throughout my entire body. I scream out in pain and collapse on the floor, fading out of consciousness.
