"Mum what's going on? Is it really bad?" Kisaiya stressed as she returned home from school. Her aunt had tried to guard her from the virus only telling her what she needed to know and the ways to prevent it.

Unknown to Ange, at school a video had been going around of a hospital in Italy which was struggling to cope with the virus and had caused instant worry around the school.

"Is it in the hospital? Are we going into lockdown? Will the schools close? Less people are in school" Kisaiya asked multiple questions all without waiting for a breath.

"Honestly Kis, I don't know. It is in the hospital and I am being as careful as I can. That is why Chloe hasn't been around for a while now. We just need to take it a day at a time. There is a possibility that schools will be closed but it's important that you listen to any instructions that your teachers give you" Ange encouraged trying to calm the girl down. The girl nodded, she felt better now having spoken to her aunt.

"Now, COVID is danger and effects people in different ways but you just need to remember that it's not likely to effect you negatively and I'm in a really low risk category. It mainly effects elderly people or people with underlying conditions" Ange explained and again Kisaiya nodded.

"Go and get changed into your jammies" Ange said as she noticed her eldest daughter was calling her.

"Hey" Ange said putting her phone up to her ear.

"Mum I think I might need to move into yours" Chloe begged on the phone.

"Hey you can always move in here, don't worry about it" Ange said trying to find out what her daughter was on about.

"Jac doesn't think it's a good idea having both myself and Nikki in the same flat as if one of us tests positive then that's two doctors on the same ward having to isolate" Chloe explained having calmed down now realising that she wasn't homeless.

"That makes sense, also at my house there is more room so you can have your own bathroom which limits both of us having to self-isolate if one of us is in contact with a positive case" Ange explained and Chloe nodded.

"I'll pack my things quickly, I can just see us going into lockdown soon and I'd rather be at your house" Chloe said.

"I understand, don't worry about it. Take your time" Ange said before hanging up. She went through to check on Kisaiya and tell her the news.

"Chloe is going to move in just now" Ange said and Kisaiya's eyes widened.

"Why?" She asked concerned.

"Because we decided that this is the best due to the virus" Ange explained.

"Can I hug Chloe? Is that allowed?" Kisaiya asked worriedly.

"Of course, you can hug her. She's in our household now as well" Ange explained and Kisaiya nodded. She was still worried though, what if her cousin passed it to her and then she spread it around the school.

"Should I go to school tomorrow?" Kisaiya asked nervously and Ange nodded.

"I believe that you should and unless we are told to isolate or schools close then that is where you are going to go" Ange explained. She thought it was important that Kisaiya kept some sort of normality just now especially as Ange was unsure how long it would last for.

The next day

Chloe moved in while Kisaiya was at school the following day, Ange had the day off as well which was helpful and they moved Chloe into the spare room. Throughout the day, it was announced that schools across the UK would be closing from Friday. Kisaiya arrived home from school and ran straight to her aunt.

"What's happening mum?" Kisaiya asked worried.

"I know it's confusing just now but the country think it is for the best so you will follow the rules" Ange said and Kisaiya nodded.

"Do you think we will go into lockdown?" Kisaiya asked and Ange nodded.

"I do, I think that we will but I don't know when" Ange explained. She wanted to warn Kisaiya as she knew how nervous and anxious the girl could get.

"Chloe's in the spare room if you want to go and see her" Ange said wanting to change the conversation knowing how nervous the girl already was. Kisaiya went running up the stairs and found her cousin. Chloe was bent over putting away some clothes in a drawer when her cousin ran over to her and jumped on her back.

"God, you nearly gave me a heart attack" Chloe said as she steady herself from her sister's unexpected jump.

Chloe placed the girl on the ground and turn around to give her a hug.

"So I'm moving in here now" Chloe said and Kisaiya nodded.

"I'm excited to have you home" Kisaiya said snuggling up with her sister.

"I'm worried" Kisaiya admitted and Chloe nodded. She knew that the girl would be worried as it was in her personality.

"I know sweetie, I understand it must be hard knowing that both me and mum work in a hospital but try and not worry. We are both trying our best to be safe" Chloe explained and Kisaiya nodded.

"I know, it's just because like on the news they are saying like sometimes it's really unexpected and then I worry" Kisaiya explained and Chloe nodded.

"I understand but remember the news do tend to look out for the most unusual stories to get lots of people watching" Chloe explained and Kisaiya nodded.

"Come on, let's have a cuddle on the sofa" Chloe said and Kisaiya nodded. This was what she needed. They all walked into the living room where Ange was already sitting.

"I'll make dinner in a bit, let's just relax" She said pulling both girls into her arms. She held them both tightly. She knew that the next few months at work were going to be hard but she needed to do it for her girls.

"Kis, I need you to try and be really responsible when the schools are off because you are going to be here alone. It might be lonely but it is so important that you don't start inviting friends over" Ange tried to explain to the girl. Kisaiya nodded. Technically, Ange could send the girl to the childcare hubs due to her age but she knew that Kisaiya won't have liked that. She trusted the girl on her own and hoped that she wasn't putting to much trust in the girl.

So I just wanted to get this chapter out as well to set up for COVID. Any ideas of what should happen during the COVID Lockdown in the Godard household? I'm kind of assuming that Chloe moves in as it doesn't seem she is with Cam and Nikki just now.
