Aoi's POV:

"DON'T HESITATE." The voice was piercing my ears. "GO, TAKE HER OUT OF HERE DON'T FIGHT JUST GO."

Again. Again and again. What's with this voice? I don't get it.

I could finally open my eyes and I saw a horrific scene.

Nobody was around me.

I could only see houses in rubble and ashes.

Fire.

And a tornado.

Fire beside me and tornado in the other.

I couldn't feel any wind rush through my fur, the normal relaxing feel of it. Am I just stuck in time?

I walk over to the tornado and-

A rush of wind knocked me on the ground off guard and I felt tremendous pain. Groaning, I hesitantly tried to pick myself up from the wet rocky cobblestone floor and instantly I felt something large pick me up by the scruff, I started to squirm around in their claws and started yelping and growling in fear...

I tried to look up at my attacker but then-...

"GAH!!" I shot right up from my bed and looked at my surroundings. I panted and started breathing heavily.

I'm... Fine?

I slumped back down into my pillow and slowly lift my paw near where my heart was beating.

It was fast... And... Slow at the same time. I chuckled to myself and closed my eyes, "That doesn't even make sense," I whispered to myself. I then tilted mt head so I was facing my bedside table, I could see my lamp and my... Dairy.

I tilted my head back so I could face my ceiling. I sighed and tried to go back to sleep when-

"B-B-B-BEEP! B-B-B-BEEP! B-B-B-BEE-"

SLAM.

One second me on my bed sleeping, the next, on top of my bed, ear slapping the alarm off my bedside table.

I groaned and hopped off the bed, now in a foul mood, I played mini hopscotch on the stairs of my room, but it wasn't long until I hit my Rose wood floorboards. I trotted over to my door flap (basically a door but it's a flap that can be locked from the inside, because I can't imagine an eevee growing thumbs and turning a door handle... Can you? xD Unless it's was an eevee human, that's a different story o-o) and happily, yet angrily, hopped down the stairs, my ears bouncing uncontrollably after me.

"Aoi, you woke up I see!" I turned and faced my mother, who was a beautiful Glaceon.

She has an ice crown on her head which looks like she's wearing a hat, a very beautiful hat in fact! Also, it glimmers and shimmers in the sun and I love looking at it in the sun, surprisingly to me though, it doesn't melt. I'm really fascinated by it too! Maybe I'll be a glaceon when I evolve! She also has ice crystals at the end of her tail, and it is surely a beautiful sight.

My father always told me that she was a really attractive girl in school, and quite popular too! Although, I didn't really care about what he says about her being popular and pretty. I mean, she's the most beautiful being I have ever seen and all... But her personality is also beautiful! Whenever I, or somebody else look at my mother and speak with her, we see her as perfection, even her name Gabriella sounds absolutely beautiful! And I, as you probably know by now, absolutely adore her, she's my idol.

I smile brightly at her, all my bad moods going away like it's disappearing out of thin air. "Yep! Wouldn't want to be late!" I happily skipped over to a chair next to my sister, Leona, who was also beautiful and smart. I don't really know her that well because she's always studying, although I do remember being close to her when we were a lot younger. I'm happy for her either way though! She's my sister and if studying makes her happy, it makes me happy too! I would want her to get good grades and get a good school too. She caught our Mother's genes and caught her friendly and nice personality, although she didn't became a Glaceon like her, she's a Leafeon and to me, they're equally as beautiful. Inside and out!

Yep I'm Mrs. Smile-a-lot!

Although, I do wonder where I got my positivity from. Not from my mother or my dad... They're "not as positive as I am"...as my grandma says, I reckon I got it from my great grandma! Everybody says that she was Mrs. Smile-a-lot too. It's heartbreaking I didn't get to meet her...

Leona smiled and closed her stuffed study book (that was full of glued in work) and leaned over the table to wave a paw near my face. "You awake, or nah?" she smirked. I snapped back to reality as I realized that my hand was supporting my head from not falling into my cereal bowl. My empty cereal bowl in fact. I guess I was thinking about my family too much, I am known to be really interested in history and family trees... (not to mention I daydream about it a lot) You might even have a famous ancestor and don't even know it! HECK, I COULD HAVE LEONARDO DA EVEENCI AS MY ANCESTOR! AND INHERIT HIS ARTISTIC WAYS!

(AN: yes I know, she has a crazy imagination... But bear with me!)

... That would be if I had any artistic talent... A 4 year olds doodle can beat my drawings any time, any day!

I groan and slump into my arms, the position when people sleep in class, mostly. Except... I totally forgot about my cereal bowl and face planted my forehead into the bowl. I look up and... The bowl is stuck on my forehead; I sighed and I heard my sister was chuckling. A few seconds later I heard her hop off the seat and my mother giggling too. Few seconds later I could feel paws on the sides of the bowl, and with a slight pop the bowl came off, I then was face to face with my sister's smile that was more of a smirk.

I whisper a quiet thank you and she sashayed back over to her seat. I roll my eyes and glance over to the clock on the wall, watching the slow ticks go by. I sometimes do wonder how such little things can make me, or other people, so interested and dazed.

"8:40..." I mumble. I felt eyes of my mother watch me and I turn towards her. I tilt my head in confusion as she keeps looking at me. She giggles and mouths something... Scol?... Cool?... - "SCHOOL!!" I jump out of my seat in a rush and freaked out Leona a bit... Just a bit, that she dropped her school book on the floor. She sighs and jumps down to pick it up, recklessly, I zoom past her with all my books, the wind knocking down even more papers on the table.

She throws me a death and angry look, and I sheepishly give her a quick 'sorry!' glance and quickly head out the door. My mother sighs and shakes her head, puts away the cloth and gloves, and goes to tend to her daughter's little catastrophe. After, she goes upstairs to check on my jolteon father.

I trot my way to school and quietly hum a little soothing tune. I look up and squint my eyes at the clouds, trying to make out a shape or figure. Suddenly, I get a piercing headache and I wince in pain. I drop down on the floor and a bright white light appears in my mind and the next thing I know, I'm in the same scene of my dream again. I look around and something catches my eye, quickly in fear, I run towards a house of rubble that looks familiar.

I circle it, hoping to remember where I think I saw this house before. A howling sound came from behind me and when I looked back, I saw... My great grandfather and great grandmother, except they looked young. They looked like that picture in our house, and my mom said that my grandmother was a baby then; in the picture there was 3 people, and a baby, which was my grandma of course.

I set my mind on the picture that I see everyday of my life. The baby, being obviously my grandma, was in the arms of my great grandmother. There was a boy next them that was looking gloomily up at my great grandparents... Was that... Possibly my great granduncle that went missing? I always ask myself this question every morning, when I come face to face with the picture when I exit my room. I didn't know why, but he intrigued me. Next to them was my great grandfather, he was... A Hunter. He died when... Well...

(Aoi's grandmother is 12 and her great grandfather is 51)

(Lucinda is her grandmother)

"Dad!! Stop taking pictures of me!" she backs away and covers her face with her paws, making a grimacing face. He laughs.

"Lucy, you need to take pictures so then you can remember these kinds of moments, because if I disappear then-" He started, Lucinda knew where this was going.

"Yeah yeah, I know. But cmon!" Lucinda whines. "we can't just stay here and take pictures pa! I want to get to the good stuff!"

"Alright alright, we'll get to the "good stuff" and go hunting!" He happily announced and started walking towards the woods, ushing her to follow him. She bites her lip and sighs, gives up, and follows him disdainfully.

"that wasn't what I meant..." she mumbles to herself and drags herself along.

Few minutes later...

"Dad! We've been walking for agessss!" she groaned. Her dad sighed and continued walking.

"We're nearly there, sweet pea." he responded calmly.

"Okay."

"Besides, we've been walking for only a few minutes."

"A few!? It's seems like ages!" She exclaimed.

They continued to walk further, Lucinda admiring the wildlife and complimenting her dad about how lucky he is to be able to be here frequently. He thanks her and talks about one day that she might be able to take over him and she hesitates but nods in agreement.

"we're here!" Her dad announced.

"wow dad! You're amazing how did you find this place? Is this where you evolved into a umbreon?" she asks, starstruck at the view of the forest. "I swear, I can see our house from here!"

He laughs. "sadly not, Lucy. It only goes up to the waterfall, and yes this is where I evolved."

Her eyes lit up. "WATERFALL??" She gasps. "Oh, I see it! Dad it's over there! If you lean a bit off the edge you can see it! Later can we go there? I would love to evolve into a vaporeon!" She exclaims and leans even further off the edge and points at it. She leans on a twig that help her stay on the platform.

"Sweet pea no!" He gasps and pulls her back just in time. The twig snapped and she was going to fall, if it wasn't for her grandpa. Her breathing were shaky and her father pulled her into a hug. "Rule no. 3, never lean off an edge of a cliff."

She giggled and asked, "What about rule 1 and 2?" her father broke the hug and gave her a serious look. "chill, pops. I'm joking! But I'll never do that again!"

He smiles "Good, make sure you don't." He sighs in relief and looks to the side, only to spot a deerling resting beside a tree. He smiles once again and turns to his daughter. "whaddya say about hunting now, eh?" Lucinda frowns.

"Do I have to?.." She asks not feeling up for it.

He frowns too. "Yes, you do. If you want to survive, you have to sweet." she looks down to the ground, and eventually nods. "you'll do it?" he asks.

"I'll do it, pops." she picked herself off the floor and spotted the deerling. She gulps and got ready with a bite. She slowly stalked her way over to the deerling and within seconds, she jumped onto the deer with a bite, killing it.

Few minutes later she was crying next to it, and her father is clapping, congratulating her and put a timer on the camera, he ran up to them and sat next to the deerlings head. Just when the camera was going to take a picture, the deerlings head pushed him off the cliff and Lucinda reaching out to try to catch him. However, she failed in advance and the deerling limped away.

The only thing that Lucinda could remember was him falling, the tears in his eyes, blowing her a kiss goodbye, and her calling his name out.

Flashback end...

I frown at that memory... I remember grandma tearing up as she told it. I look at the two that stood before me. "Claire? Kyle?" I called out my great parents name, but they didn't look back. I hesitantly went in front of them, my great grandpa looked scared and my great grandma was crying. I instantly wonder why she was crying... I can see what my grandma, Lucinda, means now when she said:

"If you have met my mother, her crying is heartbreaking to see,"

And it was. I turned around to look what they were looking at. It... Was the tornado I saw before. Voices started to pass through my mind again and again, my headache worsened and I winced and drowned in further pain.

"The eye of the storm, the eye of the storm, the eye of the storm."

It repeated again and again, it seemed endless. Like this pain is never ending and the voice inside my head.

"The eye of the storm, the eye of the storm, the eye of the storm. Get out get out get out get out, get out while you can. The eye is coming, the eye of the storm."

I screamed in pain and blacked out.
