Lincoln Universe

Loud Glow

Today, Thursday March 18/2021 marks the first chapter of Lincoln Universe. I'm gonna look back on this sentence and say "We've come so far." But until then we've got a long way to go.

Just some reviews before we start:

Guest 1: I don't want them to be shattered. Jesus. I'm not a monster. Though I would like to have Lincoln get to know the Louds as a brother rather than just a friend. But in time. In time...

Omni Spectator: Allow me to explain what happened there. I was trying to focus on one of the important parts of this chapter when I saw that I needed to moderate some reviews. In a rush to get back to my work I kind of just approved them all. After seeing your review, I was like "hold up" and went back to remove the review. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Guest 2: It would be funny to have that as an episode. Not gonna guarantee it though.

allanarcher777: Oh Connie...that's gonna be a difficult writing choice. But thanks for the support. As for different character redemption...I've got an eye on a few...

OMAC001: Thanks. I hope for this to be a very good Fanfic within due time.

Also...To the guest who posted a review about a cursed message about a killer coming for you if you don't send the review to however many people, I don't know if that was a joke. I'll tell you it wasn't funny. Don't do that again.

ALSO ALSO: To the guest who said (you know what you said), I'm gonna have to kindly ask you to screw off. I do not IN ANY WAY support that crap. I fully agree with Omni Spectator on this: Even if they aren't related, it's still weird as heck. If you support (censored) I do not want under any circumstances want to be affiliated with you.

Now with that being said, enjoy!

Royal Beach. A town full of loud noises, loud disasters, and Louds. As in the Loud house. 2 parents and 10 daughters. You would think that at least once they would have had a son, but it was as if fate had tortured them to only have daughters. Not like they could do anything about it. Their house was full. The only place another kid could possibly sleep would be in the linen closet. It was the sad truth, but it was still the truth.

Apart from the Louds, there was something else that caught everyone's attention in a loud way. By the beach of Royal Beach was an extremely large hill of some kind. The strangest thing about the hill was that some people would spread rumors about hearing explosions and loud sounds from the other side. Rumors that definitely didn't come from Mr Grouse also say that some "magic nuisances" live there. But no one had the courage to try and investigate. Not only that, but most of the Louds doubted the rumors. Keyword being most. Not all of them...

Which brings us to the loud sister who will make the choices that will effect the Loud's lives forever. Lana...

Leni was currently taking Lana to The Big Donut but they opened the door only to be greeted by someone yelling "WHAT?!" They stopped in the doorway to see a kid dressed in an orange polo shirt, blue pants, and white hair yelling at an empty refrigerator.

"This is impossible! Tell me this is a nightmare and I'm going to wake up!" The boy asked in distress.

"I'm sorry Lincoln. I guess they stopped making them" A woman named Sadie said at the counter

"Why would they stop making cookie cats?! They're delicious! Isn't this illegal?!" Lincoln asked, flailing his arms above his head angrily.

"No. It isn't. And they stopped making them because they couldn't compete with Lion Lickers." an employee named Lars said as he pointed to a nearby fridge full of Lion Lickers.

Leni and Lana finally snapped out of it and walked to the counter.

"Hey Sadie" Leni said with a smile.

"Hey Leni. The usual?" Sadie asked, guessing her order. Leni quickly nodded in approval. Lana's attention was drawn to Lincoln. He seemed very upset. She knows curiosity killed the cat, but she couldn't resist asking him what was wrong.

"Hey. What's wrong?" Lana asked as she walked up next to him.

"They stopped my favorite ice cream cause of Lion Lickers." Lincoln said with a sad look on his face.

"Ugh, Lion Lickers? Who even buys those?" Lana sad in disgust.

"I know right?!" Lincoln said in agreement.

"If you guys miss your wimpy ice cream so much, maybe Lincoln should make some with his magic belly button" Lars said in a mocking tone.

"I can't just do that Lars." Lincoln said as he turned to face Lars with his arms crossed.

"Magic belly button?" Lana asked in confusion. Lincoln did something unexpected and lifted his shirt to reveal an orange rock embedded into his stomach.

"Whoa. How'd you get that?" Lana asked in curiosity.

"The gems tell me I got it from my mom." Lincoln said as Lana kept her raised eyebrow.

"The gems?" Lana asked, not being familiar with who he was referring to.

"Yeah. They're like my guardians. They stop gem monsters from destroying the town and they take care of me" Lincoln said as Lana's eyes lit up with excitement.

"That sounds awesome!" Lana said happily.

"Yeah well now I'm sad. Cookie cat was the best. It was him against the world. All alone with no friends or family to trust. Gone too soon" Lincoln said sadly as he lowered his head to the ground.

"Yeah, I can understand how that feels." Lana said as she looked to the ground.

"How so?" Lincoln asked facing her with a raised eyebrow.

"Well I don't really fit in at school, and I'm usually not the most happy person cause of it at home cause of it." Lana said sadly.

"Aw, that's super sad." Lincoln said sympathetically. As he said this, Sadie finished with Leni's order and noticed Lincoln still being sad about the ice cream.

"Hey Lincoln? Do you wanna take the freezer Home? Since we're not selling cookie cats anymore, we don't really need it." Sadie asked.

"I don't see why not" Lincoln said before grabbed the freezer with both of his arms and walked to the door.

"By the way, you didn't tell me your name." Lincoln said, prompting her to introduce herself.

"I'm Lana. Lana Loud. And this is my sister Leni."

"I'm Lincoln. Lincoln Universe. Now can you please get the door for me? My hands are kind of full." Lincoln said as he was starting to struggle from the freezer's weight. Lana quickly ran over and opened the door for Lincoln.

"So tell me more about the gems." Lana asked with curiosity as they walked outside in front of the door. She was the only sister who believed the rumors and she wanted to hear more about the gems, as she had a sneaking suspicion that they were what the rumors were about. Lincoln set the Freezer on the ground and turned to Lana before answering.

"Well they save the town from these gem monsters, which is type of rock. There's Garnet who's the fierce leader, there's Amethyst who's the relaxed cool one, and then there's Pearl who's the proper and fancy one." Lincoln explained.

"Wow! They sound super cool! And Pearl sounds like my sister Lola." Lana said.

"Yep" Lincoln said before sighing and taking a short pause.

"Wanna meet them?" Lincoln asked.

"Wait really?" Lana asked in surprise.

"I don't see why not. I mean, how much of an impact can a 5 minute walk to my house have on someone?" Lincoln asked with a smile. Lana put her hand on her chin to think. The rumors could be true, she's been fantasizing about discovering who or what was causing the rumors, and this kid sounded so promising. Surely a little walk to his house couldn't do much other than confirm her suspicions.

As she was thinking, Leni finally came out of the Big Donut.

"Alright Lana, let's go" Leni said before Lana thought of an idea. If she was going to see Lincoln's house, she was gonna need a distraction.

Luckily, that was very easy.

"Hey Leni! Go over to the boardwalk and count to 1 million! I heard it increases your brain power" Lana said with a smile while tapping her head. Leni quickly obliged and went over to the boardwalk to do exactly that.

"Uhh..." Lincoln said with a finger and eyebrow raised, slightly pointing towards Leni.

"She's the kind of person who can get scared by their own reflection. Anyway, let's go" Lana said with a smile. Lincoln picked up the freezer and led her to the beach, around the large hill that towered over the town of Royal Beach...

Meanwhile, at the Loud house...

Everything was in chaos as usual.

"I wanna watch 'Your Giant Horse!' I need to see how they're gonna defeat Daydream Sun!"

"I need to see the Superbowl! I've been waiting all season for this!"

"I want to watch Vampires of Melancholia. Besides, I was here first."

"No! I need to live-tweet my show!"

Lynn Sr and Rita were currently standing in the doorway of the kitchen, watching their kids fight over the remote in the living room. They were choosing to let them sort the issue out themselves, however Lynn Sr noticed something odd.

"Hey sweetie, where's Lana? And Leni?" Lynn Sr asked, slightly turning his head towards Rita.

"I'm pretty sure they went out to eat." Rita said casually. Lynn Sr gained a worried expression at this.

"Wait. Lana went out to eat...with Leni?" Lynn Sr said.

"Oh don't worry. They'll be fine. Sure, Leni isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but she'll be fine with Lana's help." Rita said with a confident smile, but Lynn Sr's face just scrunched into one of sadness.

"You think she's trying to make some friends...again?" Lynn Sr asked.

"Well...Lana has always had trouble making friends while being herself." Rita said.

"Pretty sure a kid got bit by one of her lizards when she brought it to school." Lynn Sr stated 'as-a-matter-of-factly'.

"Well she's just very passionate. They all are" Rita retorted.

"I know, but I don't think they are any better. I think Lori's only friend is her boyfriend which basically comes with the position, Leni is bullied by everyone for her condition and she doesn't even realize it, and I'm pretty sure all of Lola's 'friends' are just fans or very scared competition." Lynn sighed and pinched his nose before continuing.

"I just don't get it. We can't raise them to not follow their passions, but the same time..." Lynn Sr said. Rita looked down before answering.

"Maybe they just haven't found the right person yet. Look, you better get started on dinner. That chicken isn't going to cook itself." Rita said, trying to cheer up Lynn Sr as he went off to the kitchen.

"OW! MY HAIR!" Rita heard Lola scream. Rita just shrugged.

"I'm sure they'll be fine" Rita said as she walked off.

Amazement. That was the best way to describe what Lana was feeling. Pure, adorable amazement. So much so that her eyes were gleaming and her mouth slightly hung open. What stood before them was the massive statue of a gigantic women with a house built at the bottom of it. And it was not underwhelming in any way. Not only was it the largest structure she had ever seen, but it also had multiple arms and looked so magically mysterious.

"Whoa..." Lana said in awe.

"Pretty cool huh?" Lincoln said as he started to walk towards the house. Lana only slightly nodded her head, not even breaking her gaze from the giant statue.

"So what do you do at home?" Lincoln as as he approached the stairs, preparing for the hard trip of carrying the freezer up the stairs.

"Oh, I um...take care of animals. Mostly Lizards." Lana said. Lincoln was now halfway up the steps when he raised an eyebrow at her tone. Was she...embarrassed? Lincoln quickly shook his head and dismissed the thought so he could respond to her.

"Wow. That sounds cool!" Lincoln said happily as he got to the top of the stairs. Lana looked down in sadness at the response.

"Everyone else doesn't think so" Lana whispered sadly.

"What was that?" Lincoln asked, not having heard her.

"Nothing!" Lana quickly said as she ran to the top of the stairs. She then ran to the door and held it open for Lincoln.

"Hey guys! You're not gonna believe what happened today!" Lincoln said as he and Lana walked in to the house. Right after he said this, a centipede-like creature pounced on him. Lincoln held it back with his hands, but the monster was still trying to attack him with it's massive jaw.

Thankfully, a purple whip rapped around the monster. Lana followed the whip to see that a purple woman was using it.

"Sup' Lincoln?" Amethyst said before she pulled the monster to her and threw it behind her using her whip. Lana looked around some more to find a woman who was using a spear to fight of the monsters too. She also saw a woman armed with gauntlets attacking the monsters.

"Woah." Lana said in in awe.

"What are these things?" Lincoln asked

"Sorry Lincoln. We'll get these centipeetles out of your room." Pearl said while holding a struggling centipeetle in her arms.

"Aw, you don't have to get rid of them." Lincoln said.

"Yeah, they seem really cool" Lana said, finally making herself known.

"What the- Lincoln! Who is this stranger?!" Pearl asked as she pointed to Lana.

"She's not a stranger. She's Lana and I've known her for a long time...as of 10 minutes ago" Lincoln said.

"Well she can't be here! It's too dangerous." Pearl said. To add onto her point, the centipeetle she was holding spat acid-like venom onto the floor, burning a whole through it.

"What? No! Come on guys! She'll be fine! You guys are basically done anyways!" Lincoln said as he gestured to to amethyst killing one of the last centipeetles.

"Uh guys? These things don't have gems!" Amethyst yelled to the others.

"That means there must be a mother somewhere nearby" Garnet said as Lincoln's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Oh cool. Can I help? Can I? Can I?" Lincoln asked enthusiastically.

"Lincoln, until you learn to control the powers in your gem, we'll take care of protecting humanity." Pearl said as she casually snapped the centipeetle's neck.

"Hey! Get out of there!" Lana said as everyone looked towards her. She was trying to get a centipeetle to stop attacking the fridge in the kitchen. The centipeetle quickly roared at her and Lana took a step back, before she applied logic. She grabbed a bottle of water off of the counter and splashed the centipeetle with it. It started hissing like a cat before running towards the door. Garnet grabbed it in time and snapped it in half, destroying it.

"Nice work" Garnet said simply.

"Garnet, surely you're not supporting this, right?" Pearl asked hopefully.

"Pearl, it's important for Lincoln to have friends." Garnet said in as she turned to Pearl

"He does have friends!" Pearl replied. Garnet took a short pause before responding.

"Onion is a creep." She said blatantly as Pearl realized she couldn't argue with that.

"Hey, what's that in the freezer?" Lincoln asked as he walked over to the freezer. He looked inside and gasped at what was inside.

"No way!" Lincoln said in surprise. He grabbed one and took it out of the freezer, allowing Lana to see.

"Cookie cat?!" Lana said in surprise.

"How did you get these? I thought they stopped making them!" Lincoln asked.

"Well, we heard they were your favorite and-" Pearl started before being cut off by Amethyst.

"We went out and stole a bunch!" Amethyst said as she hopped onto the counter.

"I went back and paid for them. All that matters is that Lincoln is happy." Pearl said frustrated.

"Oh! Can I have one?" Lana asked.

"Sure" Lincoln said as he shrugged. Pearl opened the freezer and tossed one of the cookie cats to Lana, who instantly started shaking it in her mouth like a dog, trying to get it open. Everyone stared at her blankly for a few seconds.

"I like her" Amethyst said, causing Pearl to glare at her. Lincoln just chuckled in, and Lana looked at Garnet's reaction to see that she gave a thumbs up in response. Pearl spotted a centipeetle coming out of the bathroom and hurled her spear at it, instantly killing it.

"Aw, I kinda' feel bad for them." Lana said sympathetically.

"Pshh. Don't be. They're evil." Amethyst said.

"How do you know? Maybe they're just scared. I mean, that might be why he hid in the bathroom." Lana said.

"More than likely, they are just trying to sneak past us so they can escape into the rest of the town." Pearl dismissed.

"It's kind of cool you care about them though. It's sweet" Lincoln complimented as Lana's eyes just went wide. No one had ever gave her that reaction when she was enthusiastic about animals. Granted, these weren't animals, but they were close enough.

"Th-Thanks." Lana said slowly in response.

"Now enough talk. I need some cookie cat" Lincoln said as he opened the ice cream and started eating it. As he was eating, a strange glow started to surround him. As he kept eating, it kept growing until...

Out of nowhere, a magnificent orange shield came from Lincoln's gem. It had a spiraling design to it, and the spiral was a lighter shade of orange. It was lighting up the room so much Lana was starting to think she was gonna go blind looking at it. Everyone stared at it in awe until Pearl broke the silence.

"Lincoln, your gem weapon..." Pearl said.

"It's a shield..." Lana added.

"I get a shield? AWESOME!" Lincoln said as he fist bumped the air. This caused the shield to shoot towards the wall and bounce off of it, hitting multiple objects, before finally landing in the now broken Tv screen.

"Dangit" Lincoln said deadpanned.

"Ignoring that...how did summon it? Surely it wouldn't just show up for no reason." Pearl said with a pondering look.

"Yeah, all I did was eat some cookie..." Lincoln trailed off as he looked at the half eaten cookie cat in his hand. He suddenly gasped, having found the answer.

"I summoned my weapon by eating ice cream!" Lincoln said with amazement. Amethyst raised an eyebrow and grabbed half of the ice cream raper off the floor.

"What the heck is in these things?" Amethyst asked. She didn't really get as a loud rumbling was heard through the room. Everyone looked to Lincoln's window to see the shadow of a massive gem monster crawling on it. Not only that, but they also saw Lincoln's shield disappear.

"Uh, what was that?" Lana asked slightly worried. The gems quickly ran outside to find a giant version of the centipeetles crawling on the giant statue.

"It's the mother!" Garnet said as she jumped up to the mother.

"Stay in the house Lincoln! And you too...Lana" Pearl said, having to take a second to remember Lana's name. She and Amethyst ran to the beach up to help Garnet.

"No way! I can help!" Lincoln said as he went inside, with Lana following shortly after.

"What's the plan, Lincoln?" Lana asked excitedly, seemingly unfazed by the monster that was outside. Lincoln didn't answer though, and instead put all the cookie cats inside of the cookie cat freezer and grabbed a box full of extension cords.

Meanwhile, Garnet was fighting the mother. She kicked it in the face only for it to knock her off the temple with it's tail. The mother then crawled onto the beach while Garnet was recovering. When the gems grouped up, they saw the Mother standing upright before it shot it's venom at them. They quickly jumped behind the mother and gathered behind a statue of a hand. The monster noticed and started relentlessly spitting venom at the hand, slowly melting it.

"We could really use Lincoln's shield right about now!" Amethyst yelled. Suddenly, the mother got hit by a rock in the face, causing it to turn around to see Lincoln next to Lana, holding the cookie cat freezer. Lincoln quickly put it in the sand before continuing.

"Leave them alone! Or else!" Lincoln yelled.

"Yeah!" Lana added. The gems saw this and quickly went into a panic.

"Lincoln no!" The gems yelled, but Lincoln didn't listen. Lincoln quickly started eating a cookie cat. The mother just stood there, waiting for something to happen. Lincoln kept eating in anticipation, and his confident smile quickly faded when he realized something.

Nothing was happening.

"Uh oh" Lincoln quickly said as he saw that the mother was preparing to try and bite them with it's jaw. Lincoln and Lana grabbed the freezer and ran away before the mother could bite them.

"We need to save Lincoln!" Pearl said in distress. Suddenly, the end of the mother's tail started trying to bite the rest of the hand away.

"Can we save ourselves first?!" Amethyst said.

Lincoln was tearing through more and more cookie cats, desperately trying to get his gem to work.

"I don't understand! Why isn't it working?!" Lincoln yelled. He looked up to see the mother was preparing to shoot venom at Lana.

"Lana!" Lincoln yelled as he ran towards her and dove forward, shoving the both of them to the ground, out of the way before the venom could hit. Lana quickly got up.

"Thanks" Lana said to Lincoln.

"Lincoln!" Garnet yelled, but the tail end of the mother tried to bite her. Thankfully she was keeping the jaw from closing, but she was struggling. Lana looked over to Lincoln to see he was staring at the ground on his hands and knees.

"Lincoln! You've gotta get up man!" Lana said pleadingly.

"I just don't get it! Why can't I use my powers?! How am I ever supposed to be something great when I can't even summon my gem weapon?!" Lincoln yelled frustrated, slightly pulling at his white hair. Lana looked at him and she didn't see the kid she met today. She saw someone who needed to be taught a lesson...

"Hey suck it up man!" Lana yelled.

"What?" Lincoln asked confused, not breaking his gaze from the floor.

"The world isn't always going to be easy! But I know you're gonna become great!" Lana yelled encouragingly.

"H-how do you know?" Lincoln asked as he lifted his head to look at Lana.

"Because you've been a great person to me today! Everyone always think's I'm weird when I try to be myself! But you haven't done any of that! All you've done is show me that it's okay to be yourself." Lana sighed before continuing.

"Look, I'm not one to get all sentimental, and I might not now a lot about this gem stuff, but if you're being this nice, if you were this determined to try and help, then that doesn't mean your weak. That's mega-awesome! I can tell you're gonna be able to help people one day! And right now the gems need your help! So are just gonna sit here and weep? Or are you gonna help defeat that monster?!" Lana yelled. Lincoln looked to Garnet to see her still struggling. They were in danger, they were cornered. 'They need me...' Lincoln thought. He sniffled and wiped his tears away before answering.

"Thanks. You're the best friend ever" Lincoln said as Lana's eyes went wide.

"We're...friends?" Lana asked in disbelief.

"Of course." Lincoln answered as he got up on his feet. Lana looked at him get up and slowly, a small smile formed on her face. She finally had a friend...

"Now. There's gotta be some kind of weakness" Lincoln said as he held his chin to think. Lana quickly snapped out of her thoughts to focus on the task at hand.

"Well, if it's anything like a regular centipede, then that means it should be weak to things like bug killer, maybe a giant boot or..." Lana said before she trailed off and looked at the cookie cat freezer. It was now partially destroyed and was being surrounded by sparks of...

"Electricity! Lincoln! Throw the freezer at it!" Lana yelled as she pointed to it. Lincoln grabbed it by the wire and threw it at the monster, causing it to scream in pain by the electrocution.

"Gems! Weapons!" Garnet yelled as the summoned their weapons and broke the hand. They quickly ran at the mother and attacked it with all their might, causing a huge explosion.

When the explosion cleared, they looked to where the monster was, only to see a small green gem. Garnet picked it up, causing a small bubble to form around it. She tapped the top of the bubble, causing it to teleport away. Lincoln and the gems proceeded to walk up to Lana.

"I'm sorry if I got you guys worried for a second" Lana said, and Garnet was quick to respond.

"There's no need to apologize. You were in a tough situation and yet, you didn't crack under pressure. You though quick, and the threat was neutralized. In other words, you were awesome." Garnet said.

"Yeah that was amazing." Amethyst said, causing Lana's to feel a massive sense of pride.

"I will admit that was quite impressive, even if it was a little dangerous." Pearl said.

"A little?!" said a voice that only Lana was familiar with. Everyone looked to where the voice had come from to see Vanzilla parked with Leni inside it, and Rita and Lynn Sr standing in front of it with his arms crossed.

"When you and Leni didn't show up for dinner, we searched the town. We eventually thought it might be worth a shot to check here." Lynn Sr explain.

"Uh..How much of that did you see?" Lana asked worryingly.

"We arrived here when you did your speech. Also, What the heck was that thing and why did you try to electrocute it?!" Lynn Sr yelled.

"Ah, are you the parents of Lana?" Pearl asked.

"Yes. The name's Lynn Loud Sr and I would like to know what the heck that thing was!" Lynn Sr yelled.

"It was a gem monster. It was trying to attack us, and it proved to be a danger to the town. So we took care of it." Garnet said.

"Yeah! And I had a lot of fun today! I made a friend!" Lana yelled happily.

"Wait, what do you mean 'gem monster'?" Lynn Sr asked.

"It's a bit hard to explain." Pearl said. Rita then came up to Lynn Sr.

"You are in so much trouble when we get home miss! I mean seriously! You were supposed to go out and get donuts, and you end up fighting some...snake creature!" Lynn Sr yelled. Lana felt like she was in big trouble, but when she looked at her mother, she only held a anxious expression. She was probably waiting for Lynn Sr to finish speaking.

"Uh Sweetie? A word?" Rita said as she pulled Lynn Sr away for a bit.

"Sweetie, did you see that thing? It was probably really dangerous" Lynn Sr whispered to Rita.

"Well yes, but those woman looked like they took care of it pretty easily. They seem really strong. Not to mention what Lana said to Lincoln." Rita said.

"What do you mean?" Lynn Sr asked.

"Well she said that Lincoln encouraged her to be herself, and he said they were friends. I mean just look at how happy she looks right now" Rita said as she gestured to the others. Lynn Sr looked to see that the gems were watching Lana and Lincoln have a conversation. One of them must have said something funny because Lincoln started laughing, with Lana shortly following.

"Huh. She looks...genuinely happy" Lynn Sr said in surprise.

"I think these people could be a good influence on her. Not to mention...it'd be nice to see Lana this happy more often. And maybe the others as well." Rita said with a smile.

"Wait, you're not suggesting we let her go on more adventures like THAT are you?" Lynn Sr asked, surprised at his wife's decisions.

"Actually I think I am suggesting that." Rita said as she crossed her arms in an attempt to put her foot down.

"But sweetie-" Lynn Sr started before he was cut off Rita.

"This is Lana's one chance at being truly happy. Do you really wanna take it away from her?" Rita

"Well no but I-" Lynn started before being cut off yet again.

"Please Lynn. Do the right thing. For her" Rita said pleadingly.

"Hmm" Lynn Sr said as he held his chin, thinking of what to do next. There were pro's and cons to this. On one hand, Lana pretty much had no friends for 6 years straight, all because she couldn't fit in when she tried to be herself. This kid that she met today seemed to have encouraged her to be herself in the best way. On the other hand, he didn't even know what that thing was. It looked like it was spitting acid, and he guessed it could have easily landed them in the hospital. But those 3 woman seems to have handled it pretty well in the end. And with those weapons they had, they could probably protect them. Lynn Sr looked back at Lana and saw how happy she was. He started to imagine what it would be like to see all of his daughters that happy instead of constantly fighting. The thought brought a happy feeling to his heart, and in that moment he knew, there was only one option...

Lincoln and Lana finished talking when Lynn Sr and Rita walked back up to them. Lynn Sr cleared his throat before continuing.

"Ahem. What we saw today was incredibly dangerous, and impossibly worrying for us as parents." Lynn Sr said as Lincoln and Lana lowered their heads in approaching sadness.

"However, my daughter Lana seems to be good friends with Lincoln. She usually has a hard time making friends and to see her so happy...I guess we'll just have to let you guys hang out some more." Lynn Sr said as Lincoln and Lana gasped happily.

"Really?!" Lana asked in disbelief, to which Lynn Sr and Rita looked at each other before nodding in unison.

"As long as you 3 promise to keep my daughters safe" Lynn Sr said as he pointed to the gems.

"We can assure you, no harm will be done to them." Pearl said.

"Mostly" Amethyst added with a shrug, earning a small glare from Pearl.

"What Pearl said." Garnet said.

"Just a quick question, how many daughters do you have exactly?" Pearl asked.

"10" Lynn Sr said casually as Pearls eyes went wide.

"What the- Ten daughters?!" Pearl asked.

"Talk about overkill" Amethyst added.

"It would probably be best to have them come over in groups of 2." Garnet said.

"Fair enough" Rita said with a shrug.

"Alright Lana. It's getting late but if you make it home, you can still have some time for dinner before bed." Lynn Sr said.

"Alright. Goodbye Lincoln." Lana said as she waved while walking off.

"Bye! See you tomorrow." Lincoln yelled to them. Lana and Rita got in Vanzilla. Lynn Sr was about to get in when he looked back at them. He made the right choice, and he was sure of it. He quickly got in the van and left.

"So did you have fun with your new friend?" Pearl asked as the gems started walking back to the house. Lincoln stood there before looking back at Vanzilla driving off.

"Yeah. I did." Lincoln said with a smile.

And that marks the end of chapter 1. Strap in folks cause this is gonna be a long ride! Am I gonna make it to the finale without continuity errors? Will the Louds have enough proper character development? Find out next time on Lincoln Universe...
