She appeared... somewhere. This was not the cosy house she had wanted to find. At first, Bella thought she might have made a mistake apparating and accidentally landed somewhere wrong, but after looking around she realized what she was looking at was, in fact, what was left of her dear sisters house. The remains of the home were blackened and burnt, plants were beginning to grow out of in the cracks and on top of the bits of wall that were left. It looked oddly peaceful and violent at the same time, a strange aura emanating from the ruins of what had previously been the Tonks family home. For a moment Bella was drawn in by the magic of it all, and slowly she wandered towards the ashes left over from what had undeniably been a raging battle. She trailed her hand along a blackened wall, surprised when her finger came back clean, indicating that this had happened a while ago.
Then it hit her. This meant that Andie, her lovely sister, was most probably... dead. She was gone. The one person she had left, gone!
This had her break down completely, Andie had been her one hope. The one thing that had made her hold on under the terrible reign of the dark Lord. Somehow, she still couldn't really believe what she saw, and even as tears streamed down her face she still couldn't stop herself from hoping. Andie had always been strong. The most loving and kind-hearted person, but still able to defend herself. She might have gotten away. Only where would she have gone? Grimmauld place was what came to mind, of course, but her sister had always hated that house, and Bella doubted she'd ever set a foot back in it. It was possible someone from the order had let her and her family stay, but in that case after some time she'd have surely come back to rebuild their house. Especially now the death eaters were defeated it seemed very unlikely that she wouldn't have returned. Who was she even kidding, Bella had known from the beginning. There was no way her sister was still alive.
That left only one possibility. Find some place to hide. An abandoned house, a natural cave, anything, and steal money and food to survive until she was able to make a plan.
