Signature Fruit Tea

It was getting old and she was getting tired. The door to the apartment opened, the pungent smell of alcohol welcoming her without reprieve. Plastic wrappers, food containers, red cups littered the room she had left pristine that morning. He at least had the decency to have them leave before she came.

Picking up each article, the accompaniment of his snores grated painfully on her nerves. Two years she had been in this, two years she had turned a blind eye to put up with his shit. Two years - and now, she had enough.
