Kumquat Lemon Fruit Tea

"In that hell hole? Are you out of your mind?" He laughed, a strong bitter laugh that sent a cold chill down her spine as he pulled up in front of her store. The words Midnight Kafe stared her down and the sold sign mocked her beyond belief.

"Go home." He leaned over her body to open the passenger door yet she sat still, unmoving.

"Get down dammit." He hissed, annoyance in his tone as he looked at her.

"I have nowhere to go." She felt pathetic. Sitting in a stranger's car, inconveniencing him after he had saved her. But she couldn't go back, she would rather walk those streets a thousand times.

"Fuck." He rolled his eyes, slamming the door in irritation, he stepped on the pedal, a loud screech from the tires as he sped down the little town's main centre. She felt no fear as he sped recklessly through traffic lights, just a stiffening sense of overwhelming exhaustion. Pulling up in front of a quiet apartment complex, he pulled to a halt. The midnight moonlight glistening on the calm fountain water as he opened the door for her.

His steps were light, quick and cat like, ready to pounce at danger. following him up the elevator, Hinata's mind now began to caution her body on the situation. He stepped onto the seventh floor of the eigh floor block. He took turns down the hall as she followed meekly, anxiety beginning to build. Confusion took its place however, when he knocked on the door. His knocks got louder and forceful with each passing second. After what felt like hours, the door swung open revealing a groggy and shirtless Itachi.

"Hidan." his cold voice rang.

"Keep your shit off my streets." he pushed her into view, turning on his heels mumbling under his breath, "Wasting my fucking time."
