Chapter 1(?)
The sky turned bright as the morning sun began to rise, its light bathing the ground with warmth in contrast to the coolness of the night. The flowers were moist with the morning dew and the trees rustled softly in the gentle wind. As the sunlight spread across the area, a large mansion was revealed, along with a large metal gate at its front that opened to showcase a spacious porch that held a stone path with trees lining the edges, which led to a large fountain and garden. The mansion itself was a long rectangular building, almost medieval looking, but still, it retained a sense of modernity with its large wide windows and wall lamps. The rectangular building itself was made of white cement blocks, with a tower at the center, its large roof made up of long black tiles, accompanied by two standing chimneys.
As the sun spilled through the windows, many household workers began to wake up for their duties. Maids, butlers, cooks- all were up and running for the day.
It was currently 4:25 in the morning, and a young boy dressed in a butler's uniform -complete with the tailcoat suit and white gloves- began to open the curtains, allowing more light to fill the inside of the building.
He looked at the wall clock, it was still another two hours before he had to wake his lady, so he set on to fulfill his other responsibilities, such as dusting the furniture (a monumental task), making sure that his lady's schedule was up to date, taking the occasional phone call or two, and reporting with the head butler. He then made his way to the kitchen to cook his lady's breakfast: Steamed rice with vegetables and fish cut into cubes (her favorite cut), carefully placed in a large bento box along with a small dish of soy sauce. He added eggs, anmitsu for dessert, and some brewed green tea alongside a few mint leaves as breath fresheners before putting it all into a silver tray.
It was a lot of food, yes, but his lady was a growing girl, she needed to maintain a balanced diet. Not to mention her Quirk, Creation, benefited from the extra lipids.
It was 6:30 now, and he made his way across the long halls to a large wooden brown door. Setting the tray down at a nearby nightstand, he knocked lightly, and received a tiredly mumbled "Come in" in response.
Permission given, he entered with the tray in hand and set it down on the nightstand next to a large and lavish bed. Right next to a girl with long black hair who was currently attempting to sleep in.
"Milady, time to get up," called the boy as he opened the curtains, illuminating the room with the now brighter sun that shined through the large window.
"Nooo, ten more minutes, Izuku. Please." The girl whined sleepily.
He chuckled softly, "Apologies, milady, but you must hurry and wake yourself, wouldn't want my cooking to get cold now do you?"
She shot up at the mention of food, all tiredness obliterated from her body at once. "It would be a shame if that happened- is that fish I smell?"
"Perceptive as always, milady" he responded. "I suggest you begin eating, you have your piano lessons early today, not to mention that your tutor is in a fouler mood than usual."
The girl sighed as she opened her chopsticks, "You haven't been provoking him again have you? I know he is a bit brash, but your sarcasm tends to irk him."
Izuku shrugged "I greet him politely, and he answers with an insult. He's a grown man for god's sake, he really shouldn't be irked by a teenager's mere presence."
The girl could only hum in agreement as she stuffed her mouth with food, which got a chuckle from the young butler. After all the years he spent in the mansion under the mentorship of his teachers, he grew fond of her, having been around her since she was seven years old. They were fourteen now, and their relationship had blossomed into a close sibling-like friendship. They were honest with each other, often offering encouragement and constructive criticism when the other required it.
He still remembered when he was first brought from the orphanage by her parents; he had been four then. Having been bullied, humiliated, and beaten constantly because of his frail form as well for being Quirkless, he lacked confidence and stuttered at almost every sentence. At the beginning, when he was first brought in, he had been extremely submissive, expecting severe punishment for the simplest of mistakes. This became known when he had bumped into a maid while practicing steering the tea cart, causing her to stumble. Nothing was spilled and no one was hurt, but the young boy had stiffened and shut his eyes expecting the worst as the head butler, Francis, approached him to ask what had happened. His reaction had been a little concerning, but it could've been played off as how a child would react to an accident. However, when Francis had raised his hand to pat the boy's shoulder to reassure him that his mistake had been nothing major, his posture had crumbled as he flinched and tears began to spill. This set of alarms in Francis's head, and he immediately notified the Master and Mistress on the boy's behavior.
After a lengthy investigation involving the Quirkless Child Abuse Bureau, the orphanage had been shut down, the abusers arrested, and the children relocated. Francis had then taken the boy under his wing, slowly but surely removing the fear and planting confidence into him. After years of formal training, the boy named Izuku had become a much more outgoing person. With his bright smile that could outshine the sun, his green eyes, curly hair, and freckles that complimented his caring nature, he had become one of the most beloved young butlers of the Yaoyorozu family.
And when he turned seven, he was assigned one of the most important -and best in his opinion- tasks in the whole household: To serve their daughter, Momo Yaoyorozu, as her personal butler and, years later, bodyguard. Since then, he had faithfully been by her side, making sure everything was in tip top shape for her.
Because to him, the daughter of the man and woman who gave him a new life deserved nothing less than a hundred percent of his efforts.
Izuku took the now empty tray off the desk before he politely closed; Momo had to prepare herself for the activities of the day.
Walking through the halls, the young butler once again admired the grand paintings and designer furniture as well as the intricate wallpaper that never failed to catch his eyes; it was a habit he never got tired of, even after ten years.
Finally depositing the tray in the kitchen and signaling a kitchen worker,he looked at the clock. It was 7:00 now, and as if on cue, the sound of a distant doorbell was heard.
Izuku let out a long sign. Momo's piano instructor was here.
He walked towards the door hurriedly. 'The sooner the man gets in, the sooner he leaves,' he thought to himself. Izuku opened the left half of the giant double doors, and greeted the well known pianist.
Yu Mikso.
One of the greatest teachers of piano that ever walked Japan. His teachings were responsible for the fame of many pianists, and while Momo had a... good relationship with the man, Yu seemed to despise the young butler as soon as he met him.
"Welcome Mr. Yu, I hope you are doing well today."
The tall man with white hair and thick goatee wearing a black tuxedo and purple tie huffed. "I actually was doing quite well today..."
Izuku inwardly rolled his eyes, 'Here it comes..'
"That is, until you answered not only the phone… but the door as well."
Izuku remained unbothered, "Ah yes, apologies for disturbing your morning with my existence."
Yu was about to respond, when Momo came around the corner, dressed in a light pink turtleneck and black pants, along with some black slippers, her hair tied back in her signature ponytail. "Izuku? Is someone here already?"
The man pushed past Izuku into the mansion, almost making the boy stumble into the wall. "Miss Yaoyorozu! I'm afraid it is your worst nightmare!"
"Oh, will you stop announcing yourself? I'll be out of a job!" Izuku exclaimed sarcastically as he closed the door and walked off.
Yu scowled but ignored him, "Miss Yaoyorozu, this will be our final lesson!"
Momo raised a brow at Izuku's previous statement, but continued the conversation. "Teacher? Our last lesson? Is that why you're earlier than usual, are you being called away?"
Yu let out a dramatic sign, "I am being called to Russia to teach another student. But fear not, this isn't because you haven't been making progress, but simply other business matters!"
"I see.. how unfortunate. Well let's begin our final lesson teacher, we should make the most of it."
"Agreed, Miss!"
Little did they know, Izuku, along with a few other maids and servants, were listening across the hall with wide smiles.
"I'll get out the champagne!" A maid quietly yet excitedly exclaimed.
"I'll have sparkling water instead!" said another.
Francis himself chuckled, "I'll have some wine, but make sure it's not from the Master's stash, Izuku?"
The boy just smiled, "Just Ginger Ale. Oh happy day."

It was now 10:00 in the morning, and the flamboyant Yu had said his goodbyes to Momo and her parents. Giving a small frown to Izuku, and receiving a smirk in return, the flamboyant man walked out the gates one last time. The young butler sighed happily, hopefully the Russians will keep him there for the rest of his life.
With a bright smile, he turned towards his lady and her parents. "As much as I would like to savor this moment, I believe we have less than forty minutes before milady must be at U.A."
The Master chuckled before he looked at his watch, "Momo my dear, go and dress. Izuku, I want you back at the door ready to go in thirty."
"Yes, sir."

Momo and Izuku stood at the gates of the humongous building that was U.A. The photos in the newspaper did not do it justice. U.A. looked majestic in size, and it seemed like it covered about seventy acres with its multiple facilities.
"Do you know where to go, Milady?"
"Yes I do… but, um, Izuku? Could you call me Momo when in public? I don't want to be treated any differently by the other students, I would like to make genuine friends this year."
Momo, being from a family as rich as the Yaoyorozu, had had plenty of 'friends' before in her elementary and middle school years. But to them, she was just a person to ask favors from or to ogle at. It got so bad that she had to be homeschooled for her last year of middle school. Izuku however, had been taught everything he knew by Francis at home… so it was safe to say that he didn't have the same problem as her, apart from being lonely. So when they both got to learn at home with each other last year, they were understandably excited. But now that they were attending school for the first time, well, first time entirely for Izuku, they were a bit nervous.
"Of course. I'll see you in a few hours, Momo. Wish me luck."
"With your brain, you won't need it."
He chuckled, "True, True."
The young butler departed, and followed his pamphlet to a large auditorium, where many students were already seated. 'Looks like I'm one of the last ones to arrive.'
After taking his seat next to a pink haired girl tinkering with an object, the lights dimmed and the talking ceased. A single spotlight shone on a podium at the front, focusing the attention on a hunched man with orange hair and yellow excavator-like helmet that only revealed his mouth. He was also shirtless for some reason.
The man cleared his throat. "Good morning, I am Power Loader, and you are taking U.A.'s Support Course entrance exam. I'll get right to it. In your practical exam, you will design three inventions of your own making after taking a written test that will allow us to see your strongest and weakest points. It will include Quirk Biology, Mechanics, and Engineering. You have one hour to complete the test and five hours to design and create your inventions."
Izuku heard an excited giggle from the pink haired girl.
Behind Power Loader, the floor of the stage opened and a large pile of machinery was lifted out on a table. "After you complete your test, we will immediately have you come to the table and collect what you need for your three devices, go wild and use your imagination. Push your limits and go beyond! Your test begins now!"
-Flashback-
Izuku was cleaning Momo's room as she sat at her desk, studying. Momo was able to get a spot as a recommended student in the Hero Course. That meant that expectations were high, and she couldn't afford to slack off.
"Izuku?"
"Yes, Milady?"
She bit her lower lip nervously, "What if I fail?"
Izuku frowned. "And what makes you think you'll fail? Surely you can't be doubting yourself, why do you think you're a recommended student?"
"I just can't help but feel a bit insecure, there are so many other kids taking the entrance exams like yourself, who are working hard and sweating for their efforts, while I'm just handed the opportunity on a silver platter."
Izuku smiled sweetly. "You're right, you don't deserve the opportunity."
Her eyes went even wider. "W-what?"
"After all, all you did was train and work and study everyday since you were four for the past ten years straight."
"Well I-"
"Not to mention attending business courses while taking advanced high school level chemistry, and passing with flying colors by the way.
"Bu-"
"But it's fine, everyone can do that while knowing the molecular composition of almost any object."
"Alright Izuk-"
"As well as memorizing an entire dictionary and thesaurus. Oh yes, you definitely should quit while you're ahead Milady."
"Izuku!" She pouted.
Said boy stopped his quipping and looked straight at Momo. Amused, but seriously addressing the issue at hand. "The only reason you are on recommendation is because you are one of the most hard working people I know. I am taking the entrance exam, yes, but that does not mean that I have worked harder than you, it simply means that I have yet to establish my quota. You have proved and shown throughout the years what you can offer at U.A. as a potential future hero. That's why you are on recommendation. Nothing less Milady."
Momo stayed silent for a while, pondering and reflecting on his answer before smiling. "If I will be a hero, then I want you there with me."
The young butler stood there, flashing her his megawatt smile as he answered. "I have been with you since we were seven, I swore to protect you with my life as a bodyguard and to offer the best of my services as a butler. To refuse your request would make me a liar and fraud. So, yes, I'll be there."
She smiled again. "Thank you."
"Besides, you can add it to my payroll."
"Izuku!"
-Present-
This is it...' Izuku thought as his laptop glowed with a digital test at the ready, 'This is how I will keep my promise.'
End Chapter 1 (?)
Honestly, this idea popped into my head and wouldn't go away. Could be a one shot. Could evolve into a story, I'll see how the response is.
Gotta go to school now, bye!
Apex has yeeted himself off the page.
