Chapter 13
Taro Slush
The bitter liquid rushed down his parched pipes, a soft cough escaping his chest. The loud music drowned in the background as the loud voices of the guys belted over the speakers. They're crazy conversations processing about him, the stench of alcohol suffocating his being yet easing the tension he hadn't realized had been building.
"Oooooo noooo! The goat ate the child! IT ate the child!" Deidara ran to the table on the far end, shaking Sasori in despair. "Open your mouth creature of death. Spawn of hell!" his loud grunts and pitched cries played by his smoky disillusionment
"Hey," Kisame hiccuped at Itachi, dark eyes stared through shark like blues, "Are children and goat babies called kids because they cry alike." he snickered, then belted in laughter, heavy and encompassing, stumbling off the stool toward the dance floor. '
Team outings always ended up like this when Hidan chose their spot. And as much as he hated the loud music, scented smoke and gyrating bodies that bumped him, he relished in the liberty of not having to uphold perfection here. Not having to carry the family burden.
Itachi shook his head, a thin smile playing on his lips, before gulping another swing of the dry liquid. "How's the bitch?" Hidan swang his hand over Itachi's shoulder, whose eyes narrowed disapprovingly, toes curling as breathing mechanisms.
"She really is a weird one. Walking in that neighborhood." Hidan kept speaking, ignoring the death look. "She'd make a good one though." he chuckled, face turning red as his imaginations run askew
"Hidan."
Itachi's chilled tone stopped him in his tracks. "Tsk," Hidan slammed the island to get the bartender's attention. "Just keep her out of there. I owe you nothing now." his voice relaxed as he gulped the foamy concoction.
AN: Sorry I missed yesterday!
