It was 3:00 in the afternoon on Christmas day and the snow flakes were falling at a fast pace and accumulating inch by inch as the hours ticked by. Rose Harbenberger was sitting in a rented wood cabin looking out the window watching the snow flake. She and her lover had left the houses at 5:00 am as their trip was a seven hour journey from San Francisco to their current honeymoon location at Big Bear Lake. When they arrived at noon the first thing that they did was turn on the lights. Max held the door open for Rose who carried the groceries into the cabin and made her way to the kitchen. When they were all on the cabin he helped his lady love bring their suitcases in and put them in the room that they would be sharing. When the clothes were put away Maxwell made his way outside to the shed to collect firewood. After putting her clothes away Rose began putting the groceries away. When the dry stores were put in the cabinets and the rest were put in the refrigerator/ freezer, she turned on the gas stove burner. After two seconds of the gas running she struck a match and lit the burner. After the fire ran for ten seconds she filled a kettle with water and placed the water kettle on the burner. As the flame started to warm up the water she walked out of the kitchen and planted herself on the couch.

Rose watched as Maxwell Fuller returned from the supply shed carrying a large stack of freshly chopped wood in his arms. Dropping them in the rack besides the fireplace, he dusted off the wood chips and them opened the gate blocking the fireplace. Max placed a large log at the center of the fireplace and then arranged several of the smaller chopped pieces like a bonfire setup. After arranging them in the fireplace and added some fuel for the fire. Rose watched as Max struck the match against the box and watched Max drop the math into the fire. The pair watched the fire ignite and made a swooshing sound as it ignited. Within a few minutes there was a roaring fire going in the fireplace. When the fire warmed up the room the the couple shed their winter coats, Max hung them in the closet and joined Rose on the couch. Max snuggled against Rose by the waist and loved on her and looked at the large picture window.

"Beautiful." Max whispers to Rose.

"I've never seen a scenery just as beautiful, but it is quite a sight." Rose says in her normal tone.

"The scenery is nice, but I was referring to you." Max tells his lady. He kisses her neck as he holds her close in his arms.

"Awww Fuller.. I love you." Rose informs her sweetheart.

A Few Minutes Later

They found a karaoke machine and Rose sang first a guitar played and Rose sang "Da da da da, The smell of your skin lingers on me now. You're probably on your flight back to your home town. I need some shelter of my own protection, baby. To be with myself and center. Clarity, peace, serenity. I hope you know, I hope you know. That this has nothing to do with you It's personal, myself and I. We've got some straightenin' out to do. And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket. But I've got to get a move on with my life. It's time to be a big girl now. And big girls don't cry. And etc."

Max said "Rose that was amazing I loved every bit of it" "Thank you Max BTW your turn" Max sings "We were both young when I first saw you. I close my eyes and the flashback starts: I'm standing there On a balcony in summer air. See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns, See you make your way through the crowd, And say, "Hello." Little did I know... That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet." And I was crying on the staircase Begging you, "Please don't go." And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone. I'll be waiting. All there's left to do is run. You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess. It's a love story. Baby, just say 'Yes'."

Rose said "Max that was amazing" "Thanks Rose how about we do a duet" " OK Max" Max sings the odd numbered lines Rose sings even numbered lines. Then in third and fourth section they both sing together

A Few Hours Later Max and Rose went go play in the snow

Rose said "Max I'm going make a snowman with me" "OK Rose and I will make us a heart with are names in it" Rose said "Max I'm going make a snowman" "OK Rose and I will make us a heart with are names in it" "Max that's so sweet of you to do" a few minutes passed by when they finished. Rose saw the heart Max made and said "Max that looks awesome you did a great job and love our names in it" "Thanks Rose I love your snowman" "Thank you Max"

Around sunset. Max was grilling out while Rose was outside near the fire pit waiting for Max sit right next her to watch the sunset

"Max hurry up please so we can watch the sunset together" "I'm coming honey" as Max sat down he sang to Rose Alfalfa's Song from The Little Rascals Max sings "You are so beautiful to me. Can't you see? You're everything I hoped for, You're everything I need. You are so beautiful to meeeeeeee" "Max that was amazing I love you so much" "I love you so much too Rose" a few seconds later Max put his arm around his beautiful wife Rose and said "Rose you are the most important person in my life and I love you cause you're beautiful,funny,and kind" "Max you are the most important person in my life and I love you too cause you're handsome,smart,funny,sweet,kind,and romantic"

After the sun set they ate dinner they went to bed

Max said "Goodnight Rose I love you" "Goodnight Max I love you more" after Rose finished talking they gave each other a goodnight kiss the went to bed all snuggled up to keep each other warm cause its cold outside
