NYX
I opened my eyes after I heard a voice, I got on a sitting position and I scanned my surrounding area. I was in the Orokin Tower, only difference is no one was there. I got up and walked through the door leading to the room before the portal room, what I saw completely surprised me. The whole room was empty, there were no bodies, no damage, nothing. Just a quiet room.
'What in the name of fuck?' I was lost, I think I'm dead
'Come to me...' a voice said and I recognized it as the voice that made me wake up
'He=hello? Who are you?' I asked
'Someone who's been waiting for you.' it said, and that kinda creep me out
'Do I know you?' I asked again
'No, but do you want to know?' it asked me cryptically, but against better judgement I said
'Yes, I would like to know.'
'Then just follow my voice.' with that I followed the voice
I walked towards where the tear should be, but in it's place is a door. When I walked through I was now in a long walkway, the ceiling was a good 25 ft up and both walls were glass windows. Outside was a scenery I'm not familiar with. There was this beautiful mountain in the far distance, then I saw what appeared to be a row of buildings that was adorned in gold.
As I kept walking the buildings got more and more until I was above a city. There were beings walking around, from the height I'm in it was hard to identify them. Then the sky darkened, I saw the beings looking up and that caused me to stop and look at what they're looking.
In the sky was this large unknown ship, piercing the heavens. It made a loud mechanical noise that caused all the beings to cover their ears in agony. It's cargo bay doors opened and these unknown things flew out and started to rain destruction to the city. I watched as the people ran towards a pantheon, which the path I was walking on was headed towards.
I broke out in a run to try and help the people out, as I kept running the scenery kept getting more depressing. I watched while sprinting, the unknown invaders butcher the citizens. I paused as I watched one of the invaders behead an older looking citizen, then I watched helplessly as another invader impaled an innocent child
"NOOOOO!" I yelled as the child fell down unmoving
I was crying and at the same time anger was swimming in my soul, I ran again but this time I felt as if energy was covering me, like that of any Volt user. I watched as I saw the pantheon was getting closer, the citizens were all running inside the massive building.
'There's still hope, I will help these people.' I encourage myself.
There it was the door leading towards the pantheon, once I went through, I saw the inside was like any other Orokin Tower, white with gold, and golden energy flowing everywhere. In the middle was a railing overlooking the citizens who are inside, I heard their worried cries of help. When I got there I look down to see all of them in a state of dread.
I looked around and saw a stairway leading down, I rush to it to get down. Once I rounded the corner I froze instantly, what I felt is unexplainable, I felt dread in the air, as I slowly walk towards where the citizens were standing a while ago. Instead of living beings, I was surrounded by a sea of bodies. Bodies of all walks of life. There were who were missing limbs, some missing half of their bodies, others were blasted and others were mutilated. I walk towards the center where there was a tall podium, without a statue in it.
I look down to see the body of a little child, I knelled down and pick the child bridal style. The child was sporting a deep slash in its chest. I dissolve my helmet, as as it faded the waterfall in my eyes poured down. I screamed my lungs out, praying to Mother for help, for guidance.
"It's hurts doesn't it, child." the voice I heard said and I looked around to see no one, but as I look up the empty podium, there standing on the very top was this figure, it was covered in silhouette as the light from a crack was shining behind it
"Wh-what happened here?" I managed to ask, despite the tears still flowing
"An invasion happened here child, centuries ago...centuries long past." it said with sadness in its voice while slightly tilting its head up
"Wh-what..."
"The destruction you saw coming here was the start of the end. A million and a half were living here...all of them were wiped out in a day." the figure said
"Who, who are you?" I asked while placing the child down gently
"I am a person who has watched this scene replay over and over again...every time, it breaks my soul to pieces. Yet I have to remain strong in both body and spirit, physically and mentally..." the figure then jumped down and landed gracefully in front of me
"...I am, your Ancestor child." the figure said as I saw it was a she. Standing before me was
"...Nyx Prime..." I said dumbfounded
NO ONE
The joint forces of Orokins and Tennos finally managed to bring down the three Bursas, when the last one fell the Corpus loyal to Nef Anyo retreated to the portal room.
"WHY ARE YOU ALL RETREATING IN HERE!?" the crazed con-man said with anger
"Sir, they have defeated the Bursas, we're no match for them an-" the poor Corpus Crewman never finished what he said, as Nef Anyo grabbed the soldiers gun and shot him point blank.
"If a single one of you retreats back here, you all will be wishing to be killed by them..." Anyo said through gritted teeth
"But sir, they will over run u-" Nef looked at the Elite Crewman who was speaking with a crazed look that screamed speak again and I will kill you
The soldier then turned around and screamed
"ATTACK!" all of the units ran towards the door only to be met by a wall a bullets. Twenty soldiers fell down instantly.
With Excal
'Mother, I don't know what I would do if she dies...please help me.' the poor Excal user pleaded in his head
'She will be alright...' Adam's eyes widen and he started to look both left and right
'Wh-what...'
'Your love shall be fine, I should know young one.' it spoke with a calm tone
'Please, if you know how to save her, please help her...' Adam pleaded yet again
'Do not worry, she's already healing, so worry not.' the Excal user was having doubts in his head, but he decided to ignore them
'For now, come to me. We have things to discuss.'
'I can't leave her!' Adam protested
'Again, she is being taken care of.' it said
Adam looked at the Trinity user and at the Corrupt Ancient Healer, then he looked back at his love. With a heavy sigh the Excal user got up and looked at Shelia
"Shelia, please look after Jessica, I'm going somewhere." the medic without stopping at what she was doing looked at Adam, and she gave a single nod, knowing what's going to happen.
'Where can I find you then?' Adam said while balling his fists with a determined look
Before going he took one last look at Jessica and he removed his helmet, he knelled down and gave the Nyx user gentle, loving good luck kiss. He got up and then went the other direction of the battle. Speaking of Nyx...
With Nyx
Jessica felt a soft gentle loving feeling on her lips, it caused her to unconsciously place her left hand on her lips. That didn't escape the notice of her Ancestor
"Looks like someone had a good kiss." the Nyx Prime said
"Uhm..." Jessica was now blushing madly
BANSHEE
We couldn't believe that we were able to defeat those three new enemies. It was a great morale booster for everyone. Seeing the Corpus loyal to Nef Anyo retreat was a sight to remember.
"That is something we've needed since the start of this assault..." I said to the Corrupt Bombard beside me
"Indeed, the tower is pleased, it also says the enemy leader has gone beyond mad."
"About that..." Marie said after she appeared next to us "...isn't the void like going to drive you insane, since it's pure energy? Shouldn't Nef Anyo be like nothing anymore..."
"He is already mad to begin with, he forced himself into the void. The tower says he used to be a Corpus sniper...but one thing after another ended up in him being like that. He is now a threat to the void and to the tower." the Corrupt Bombard said
"Wait...he a threat? I though Captain Vor was also a threat?" I said surprised
"Vor, is different. He was called by the void, whereas Anyo forced himself. The two had some...ugly history." he said visibly shuddering
"Well, I hate to say this but I would sure love to have Vor here, to aid us..." Marie said aiming her gun and shooting a foolish Corpus Tech
"I second that." I replied while throwing a broken metal rod at a Shield Drone that was annoying me
'Everyone remember to check your ammo level, we don't know how long this will last.' Joe said in the coms
'Worry not, there is an ammo storage room, not too far from here. Do any of you need a refill of ammo?' a Corrupt Heavy Gunner kindly asked
'Yes, we need a refill. Pardon us for using your supply.' I said in the coms
'Don't be, were are comrades now, we have a common enemy before us. We share what we have to survive.' she said
'Thank you...' I looked at Joe who was with Harold holding whatever they can throw at any foolish Corpus enemies '...Vau, I'll go with the Heavy Gunner to get some ammo.'
'Sure, but Harold and I are still going to throw things at the Corpus.' he said. I then tagged with the Corrupt Heavy to get some ammo.
'What the fuck are we even doing...' Harold said not realizing EVERYONE heard him and laughing can be heard among the Orokin units
I smirked and lightly chuckled. Me and the Gunner went through the sliding door and into the room where Jessica still lays unmoving.
"Where's Adam?" I asked the medic
"He has an important thing to do, and no it's not jerking off..." Shelia said without any emotion "...sorry, wrong time for dry humor."
"Actually, right now we do need a little bit of humor." I said before following the Gunner
TRINITY (SHORT POV)
After Anna left my helmet gave me a message that I never thought would come, I felt relieved and tears were forming in my eyes. The message read
"Notice: Patient: Nyx 50-D1, Jessica...status is leaving red zone, condition is no longer critical...injuries sustained are 96 percent healed...ETA to green zone: 10 minutes max...proceed current pace." That was good, no that was a great news to receive.
'Everyone, I have great news!' I said a bit too excitedly in the coms
'WHAT?' everyone said at the same time
'Nyx...Jessica is finally getting better!' I said then heard a roar of cheering coming from the other room. Another morale booster for everyone. I wonder what caused for her to heal properly...
NYX
After that moment and my blush dying down, my Ancestor talked to me regarding my condition
"Child, normally I would ask you questions in order for you to unleash the Prime mode slumbering in you. But that is no longer a problem,
now I must ask you, are you able to transform at will?"
"I can't..."
"How were you able to transform in the first place, young one?"
"I, I was full of anger, when my...my love was possessed by his dark half. I had anger at first but my anger was also because of love." I said, that memory in Phobos forever etched into my memory
"There is your problem child, you have only accepted to of the emotions...what is hindering you from accepting all?" she asked while kneeling down and closing the eyes of the dead child I was holding
"I-I...don't know if I will be able to function the same. I'm afraid that I'll either go mad or go numb. Everyday, in my Dojo...whenever I'm not with my love or anyone I get overwhelmed by the emotions of everyone, most especially those who came back from a traumatizing mission. I...also still can't let go of my past, even if I was given closure." I said looking at the ground.
"Young one, please raise your head." my Ancestor kindly ordered and I complied, I was surprised to see her helmet was removed. Her silver and gold hair reached her back and it was gently flowing in the non existing wind. Her eyes were switching from silver and gold.
"Is that the reason? A Nyx users job is to heal a broken soul, much like a Trinity user, except we deal with emotions. We are somewhat healers, not of the body, but of the mind and soul. Not only must we heal others but we must heal ourselves more. Us Nyx users carry not only our burdens and sufferings, but of others as well." she the took my hand and placed hers in it
"Not only do we have to bring peace to others, we must bring peace to ourselves and we can not achieve it on our own. Once we accept our own burden do we finally gain peace in our tattered soul. I should know, child. All these people...I stayed with them, listening to their burdens, to their regrets and I took it all. I comforted them all here in this purgatory." she then lets go of my hand
"So child, do you accept the burden and suffering of your Dojo? Will you bring peace to their broken heart?" she asked while standing
"I will, my Ancestor." I said as I was also standing
"Do you finally accept, your own?"
"I do, I should not deny it, nor should I fight it. I will live with the memories in my head and in my heart." I said proudly
"Then, you are worthy of this..." she then made the symbol of the Nyx "...like a Trinity, I bless you with compassion, with wisdom and with love. Love for others and for yourself. Accept this gift, my Descendant." she then placed her hands just under my left breast, where my heart should be.
"Go, everyone will need you. He will need you." she said
"Thank you, I will never forget you."
"No you will not, this is not a farewell, we will see each other again. A greater threat is coming soon." she said
"A greater what?" I asked but everything went black, then I opened my eyes to see a crying Shelia
"Welcome back..." she said still crying, I got on a sitting position and I hugged the Trinity user
"It's good to be back." I said while comforting her
NO ONE
After Jessica vanished, the Nyx Prime looked around her and the once destroyed place repaired itself. All of the previously dead, were standing in awe of what their seeing
"Can we finally?" one citizen asked
"Yes...I finally found my peace, in which is all of your peace." Nyx Prime said. She then felt a tug, looking down she saw the little girl
"Can we finally, move on to the afterlife?" she asked innocently
"Yes..." she then picks her up and tickles her "...yes we can."
The sound of the little girls giggles echoed and it remained for a short while after all the souls moved on
EXCALIBUR
I walked towards whoever was communicating with me. At first, I was skeptical but now? I'm a bit curious with a hint of nervousness. Who knows what could happen to me. Hopefully it would be quick so I can go back.
"What is this area..." I said to myself
The place I'm in right now...wow, this place looks like it goes on forever. A large open area in the middle and three levels where, anyone can walk through, in the middle is a single control console, that looks like it hasn't been used in years. I decided to sit down and take a moment to collect my thoughts.
Everything that happened to me so far were unpleasant in many levels. I lost my first clan and Dojo, being taken over by your other half, finding that traitor and making him suffer, and now that Grineer meeting...will I be able to avenge everyone who died in my old Clan? The feelings in me are a mess.
I try my best to keep myself together, to never let what happened in that ship happen again. I did make a promise to Jack to never leave Jessica. I broke a almost similar promise before, never again.
While there I look around and I saw a lonely door, I walked towards it. Once I was through the door, it closed behind me. The area I'm now in was dilapidated. My guard was in all time high, as I traverse through the rubble littered on the ground I saw a lot of bullet holes, burn marks and signs of explosives going off.
"What happened here." I said while observing my surroundings
'A battle...a one sided battle happened here.' the voice said
'What kind of battle would leave a place in this state?'
'A battle equivalent to that of an invasion.'
'Dear Mother...'
'Yes, now come, you are near.'
I continued to walk to see three doors two of which were destroyed and a single door in the middle, I entered and inside was a very dark room, as the door closed the only source of light is from a line of candles on a table.
"Hello?" I called out in the darkness
"Who are you?" I called out again
"Well...hey there...long time no see." An all too familiar voice said.
The darkness lighten a bit enough for me to see no other than, my Dark Half. He was in a kneeling position, bounded by chains that were connected to the ground
"You..." I said anger slowly building up in me
"Please...calm down. It won't do you good." He said not looking at me
"Why would I listen to the likes of you." I said with a venomous tone "You who savored my negativity, you who have tried to kill me, so you can fucking take over me." I said as he was still not looking at me
"I-I'm sorry, I mean it." he said and I could hear his voice...cracking a bit
"Give me a reason I shouldn't stick my melee through you." I was now angry
"I don't have any reason to give, all you said to me is true and I deserve that threat."
By now I was in front of him my melee ready to end his existence. I was about to stab him when a hand held my wrist. I look behind me to see this Warframe. The figure was in all white and looked like me. The helmet almost looked like my default helmet, only difference is there was what look like a key.
"I would not do that if I were you." it said
"Who are you?" I asked my weapon still in my hand
"I am the first. I who was one of the firsts to witness these kinds of things. I who wish you do not loose yourself." he said
"Wh-what..."
"I already know who he is...but this is not the time for me to let you know...you have to know it yourself." my Dark Half said in a almost raspy voice
"I don't get it..." I said stupidly
"I, young one...am your Ancestor." he finally said and the darkness in the room lifted for me to see the entire room.
My grip on my weapon loosened and it made a loud clanging noise as it hits the ground. I was like a fish out of water, my mouth was agape, my anger died down. He lets go of my wrists and I took a step back, not looking away from him.
"I know you have questions to ask, am I correct?" he said
"Why...why is he here..." I pointed to my Dark Half who still isn't looking up "...what's going on here?"
"You are broken, not physically or mentally, but in soul. You young one..." he then pointed at my other half "...need him."
"I'm perfectly fine, with out his sorry ass." I said
"Keep telling yourself that...but in the end you will need him." my Ancestor said looking my other self
"Why? Why do I have to be with him..."
"You're not in your fullest. Every person needs their half's to be united, others deny one of the other. There are those who either end up basking in the light, others dwell in the darkness. A person must be whole living with both good and evil in them." my Ancestor then walked to the chained being
"Why did you do it? Why did you threaten the light half of him?" he asked
"I was fueled by the rage, the hate in his heart. It consumed me...took over everything. I thought I had control but alas, here I am... bounded, which I deserve. For my crime...no my sin was far too great..." my half suddenly cried "...I'm sorry, I'm sorry...so so sorry."
I froze in my place, I never thought he would have regrets...then again, I never let him explain himself...that alone made me realize how much I avoid him.
"It's evident that you, are sorry for your past mistake." he then took one of the chains and crushed it. Then the rest of the chains, one by one disintegrated. Setting my Dark Half free.
"Wh-what? Why?" he questioned
"You are not a feral animal, you are a being who knows what they did. You deserve to be free..." my Ancestor then turns to look at me "...and you have finally opened your eyes."
I and my Dark Half just stood in front of each other. None of us did anything, that is until I walked up to him and hugged him. He was shocked but eventually returned the hug.
"I'm sorry. Sorry for not giving you a chance to explain yourself properly. I'm the one who should be asking for your forgiveness."
"It's alright, we both have our faults..." he then slowly started to fade "...we're two separate beings that unite to be one. Besides, we are lucky to be where we are now." he was now almost gone
"I forgive you." I said
"Thank you. Bye." he finally faded away
"So now that you are whole, I now may grant you this..." he then made an insignia "...I bless you with the symbol of the Excalibur Prime." he then placed it in my back exactly on the middle.
"You are strong, you are experienced with both beauty and horror of life and I see a future ahead of you. That is if the threat will pass."
"What do you mean threat?" I asked
"The path you went through was a scar of an old horror, that will consume everything if not defeated."
"Be weary of that day, for now be at the ready."
"Okay..."
"Now go, go and return to everyone. Your love should be waiting for you." he said as he nudged me in the shoulder
"Okay, thank you."
"Go!" he commanded and I just ran back to everyone
NO ONE
"Lucky bastard..." Excal Prime had a smile on his face "...I wonder where she is now...I hope she's out of that place." Excalibur Prime said out loud
Shelia who by now was done with crying was doing a final scan on Jessica to know if she's fit to return to combat. She was glad to know it's safe for the Nyx user to fight again, without having any worry.
"You're good to fight, but don't push it." the combat medic reminded
"Yup, got it." Jessica says while walking confidently back to the battle.
Once she enters, everyone including some of the Corpus soldiers stopped to look at her. She was emitting a strong aura, an aura that says "Danger", well to the Corpus but to everyone else it's a sign of hope.
She then raises a hand then all the Corpus soldiers in there started to kill each other, when one soldier was left, Jessica pulled out her secondary and without hesitating shot the Corpus in the face.
"So, what's happening?" Jessica asks Joe, Marie, Maria and Harold. She then does a head count
"Where's Adam and Anna?" everyone looked around for Adam except the medic
"He's being tested and Anna left with a Corrupt Heavy Gunner to get ammo." the Trinity user said
"Okay then..." Jessica then looks at the door where on the other side Corpus soldiers loyal to Anyo are hesitating to go through
"We wait for Adam to come back." Jessica said not looking away from the doorway
"Why do we have to wait for him?" Maria asks
"We are all going to finish that mad man together." Jessica says while cocking her gun
With Excal
Adam was in the destroyed corridor, examining the area trying to look for clues, so far nothing. That is until he saw something sticking out of a rubble. He went to examine it, it look like an arm of some sorts, but there was no body near it. He then opened his hand and he started to collect the unknown arm to examine it some time later.
When he was done, he was about to go back to everyone but he stopped. He felt as if someone or something was watching him, yet he saw no one. Shrugging it off he ran towards his friends. He didn't notice the figure of a man hiding behind a piece of fallen ceiling.
"I hope that helps you for the disaster that's coming in the future. May we all have the strength to fight and survive." the unknown figure said silently watching the Excal run through the doors.
After ten minutes Adam finally reached everyone. The very first person he saw was Jessica. She too noticed him and they ran towards each other. They gave each other a tight hug that rivaled Harold's. Then they both removed their helmets to give each other a passionate kiss, while tears of joy running down their cheeks.
"Thank Mother...I thought I lost you Jessica!" Adam said tearfully after they stopped to catch their breaths
"So did I, but I felt you...I love you so much!" Jessica said
"I love you more." Adam replied
"No, I love you more..." Jessica replied back
"Nuh-uh, I love you even more that what you said."
"NO! I love you mo-" Jessica was cut off by Maria
"Can you have your lover's quarrel later? Right now, let's kick Anyo's ugly ass out of here." the Mag user said annoyed
"Ri-right...come on Jessica..." Adam said fumbling to get his helmet back on
"Ye-yeah..." Jessica was blushing like hell
VAUBAN
After, Adam and Jessica got their helmets back, us Tenno's and the Orokins were getting ready to push, when Anna walked through with a large container full of ammo for everyone. She dropped the ammo container after seeing Jessica and Adam. She then ran forward.
"Hey, Anna..." Adam was never able to finish, because Anna ran past him to hug Jessica
"Jessica, are you alright?!" the Banshee user asked
"Yeah, I'm ready to go. Come on, were getting ready to kick Nef Anyo..." Jessica said happily
"Alright..." Anna said
Adam on the other hand was still in his place looking like an idiot
"Uhm...nice seeing you too?" He said to the door
"Hey Adam, come on man...stop looking like a retard that's talking to a door." Harold said while reloading
'It's good to see everyone together.' I said to my self while chuckling
We all made suggestions on how to attack Anyo, but in the end we all decided to just overwhelm the crazy con man. After everyone checked their weapons, we looked at each other then to the Orokins, we all nodded our heads and with one massive battle cry we charged into the portal room.
Rhino went in front of everyone and used Iron Skin, then Rhino Stomp, lastly he used Roar. Everyone then started firing their guns. Bullets, lasers, grenades and random items were flying everywhere. The Corpus were all being pushed back to the tear in the back. Anyo was frozen in his place. It was evident that he was bewildered on what was happening. That is until all his soldiers were gone and the barrel of guns were aimed at him.
"It's over, you're defeated. Now leave and never dare come back." the Corrupt Bombard said his finger itching to fire
"..." the Corpus con man was not moving and everyone was getting impatient. Finally Marie can't take it anymore and approached him, she then swung her right leg into Anyo's jewels.
Anyo grabbed his crotch and silently cried, obviously in pain. Adam and I went to him, grabbing him on either side we lifted him with some trouble, Harold and the Corrupt Bombard came to help us. The four of us then threw him through the tear and watched it close.
A roar of celebration erupted as we finally ended this shit show.
NO ONE
After the battle everyone assessed the damage to the area, the Tennos helped the Orokin in picking up the injured and brought then to the healing room. The damage caused by both sides were repaired and after seven hours the damages were now gone. Maria went to the spot where the Corrupt Grineer soldier who saved her died. His body was being carefully removed by two Corrupt Crewmen.
She then noticed the stuffed toy still lying there on the floor. She walked to it and picked it up. She brushed off some dirt and with a melancholic smile she placed the toy in her storage box.
She then watched as the body was placed in a stretcher, the Corrupt Crewmen then placed a white cloth over the entire body. The Mag user spotted the Corrupt Bombard who talked to them.
"Excuse me, you said that those who were killed were brought to a room to get re energized with the void energy, right?" She asked as she approached him
"That is correct."
"Then will that Corrupt Lancer be revived?"
"Hmm..." the Corrupt Bombard paused while placing his right hand to the side of his head "...the tower has decided to let him be free, he served the tower with honor for so long. It decided to let him rest in eternal peace. Yes, the tower can decide if a Corrupt has done their duty properly."
"Then that's good to know, he won't have to suffer anymore." Maria said
"Yes, I do hope he was reunited with his child." the Corrupt Bombard said
After helping the Orokins, the Tennos went back to their respective ships, the Orokins saluted, showing their respect to the Tennos who fought by their side, and in the Tower's moment of need, they didn't hesitate to aid the Tower's guards. The Tennos too saluted back. Once the ships were on the air a tear opened allowing the Tennos to leave.
Once the tear closed the Orokin units then slowly walked back inside the tower. A Corrupt Heavy Gunner approached the Corrupt Bombard
"What happens now?"
"We ready ourselves, the great evil is coming back. We all must prepare." with that they both walk back inside the tower.
Unknown location
The S.F.S and S.B.S were walking in a paved path. They were walking towards a tall monument in the middle of a park. After leaving the Tower and returning home Maria convinced everyone to help her find the Grineer settlement, when they did they found out it was transformed into a memorial site.
When they were in front of the monument Maria took out the stuffed Kubrow and placed it on the ground. She said a little prayer and turned around. With their backs facing the monument, there stood the spirit of the Courrpt Lancer with his daughter and his wife. They all had smiles on their faces, and in the blink of an eye they were gone.
UNKNOWN
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the meeting, we will begin in approximately 20 minutes." a voice said
So that's that, I honestly am surprised a lot of people are reading this in an almost daily basis, which is nice. So I hope you've enjoyed this story so far. Please do leave a review...

shadowmewtwo5498: Well, in my view (both in this story and in he actual game) Nef Anyo is already a crazy guy so I made it that he won't be affected by the void because he already lost his mind. For this story Excalibur Umbra won't be here, or is he? I do have plans with him though in the future. About just letting Rhino whoop Anyo's ass, well that would make these past chapters useless then, haha. I do hope you've enjoyed this chapter.
