It had been a busy time for everyone including The Lotus, as the Tennos were training or relaxing each in their own way of preparing for the difficult battle that they will face. The Lotus was gathering data about the Grineer meeting, she managed to get a few info like the type of units that are there, the security measures, layout of the place, etc...
What she uncovered sent a wave of fear through her body the place where the meeting will be held is of all places the Grineer shipyard on Ceres. That place was full of hazard from pipes, lasers, toxic waste pits and lighting. The regular units stationed there we're somewhat already nuisance, but apparently the Nightwatch Corps would also be there. The meeting is probably a highly sensitive occasion for the most notorious Grineer force to be sent there.
'This is going to be a difficult mission, this has to be a set up as well...' Lotus was analyzing the info she got, problem is that's not the entire story. The other info's were hidden and deeply encrypted that she can't bypass.
'What are they keeping deeply encrypted?' Lotus wondered
With the Tennos
Adam was meditating in the garden having fully accepted his dark half as him, he felt his power go beyond his limits. Jessica was also meditating but she's not in the garden, she's in the observatory looking out into space, she was silently praying, thanking her ancestor for bestowing her the Nyx Prime variant. She was also praying that the souls of all those who perished may find peace.
Marie was sparring with a training dummy, she was preparing herself for the mission, she was scared yet her determination to help her friend find closure was even stronger than her fear, she then gave the training dummy a powerful kick in the crotch area, that kick caused the other tennos watching her...well mostly the male population, hurt in their nether region.
Joe was surprisingly not making strategies with the Lotus, he's actually in the weapons storage room, showing the new members different weapons and what type of weapon they are. Anna was wandering around the dojo, going to different research lab to see what's the latest weapon to be develop, when she got out of the Infestation research lab she shuddered at the weapons being developed. She then tried to look for someone who's usually easy to find since he's big and loud.
Shelia was in an area in the dojo where all of those who died in the line of duty were remembered, their names, full body holographic scan, etc...were stored for newer generations to pay tribute to, she was currently looking at the holographic forms of those she was not able to save, she was not there to say sorry and punish herself, she was there to finally let herself find peace and to pay homage to them.
Maria was wandering the halls looking for the Trinity user, she wanted to get something off her chest, you see the Mag user has slowly and surely fallen for the combat medic. She was scared of not being able to tell Shelia her feelings, she was still determined to say her confession.
Harold was in a quiet part of the dojo, quiet in a sense that no one was there, he called the area his own. He would go here to vent out his frustrations or to act childish, but today he's just sitting on the floor with his back pressed on the cold metal wall. He had one leg stretched while the other was raised, giving his arm a place to rest while he was looking out a big window. He was contemplating everything he ever did and some made him smile while others made him question himself. Then there was with his ancestor. He felt tears form in his eyes but he didn't force them to stop, he just let the tears fall, he then sobbed getting louder each time, not caring if someone heard him.
BANSHEE
I went to the cafeteria to look for Harold, I wanted to talk to him. I noticed when we went to the tower sometime ago he was acting like a kid, he was a pain to be with, but after he was tested he gave of a different vibe. I ignored it at first but after going home, he was not jumping in joy and bragging to others what we did. No he was just...different...I left the cafeteria to look for him.
'I wonder what his test was...' I thought to myself as I unconsciously just walked towards a hallway devoid of life
'He was acting like a obnoxious kid going there then he starts to be a little mature.' I continued with my thought but I stopped.
I was in an area of the dojo that I've never been to, the place looks so barren, there was no one here and the only noise I can hear was the soft humming of whatever machine. I was about to turn around and leave but I heard a noise. When I was about to search for the source a hand landed on my left shoulder and was about to punch whoever that was, only to realized it was Jessica.
"Hey, you scared me..." I said while pouting
"Haha, sorry about that, I was in the observatory and I saw you enter, walk around, then leave. You alright?" Jessica asked me
"Y-yeah, I'm fine, was just looking for someone."
"Oh, who is it that your looking for?" she said with one eye brow raised
"It's Harold...I'm looking for him. I was about to leave but I heard something."
"Really? Then let me come along, you might need my help." Jessica offered which I gladly accepted
We then started to look for the source, we were amazed that we haven't seen this part of the dojo, it had many big open window giving us an amazing view of space. I asked Jessica to use her mental abilities to see if there's anybody is in this area, while I use my hearing. After a minute or two of walking and looking we found the source, it was the Rhino user I was looking for.
Both of us watched from afar as Harold was bawling his eyes out and acting not so him. I glanced a Jessica and I saw her tear up. I asked her if she was alright, in which she told me she saw some of Harold's memories. I wanted to inquire her about those but I kept my mouth shut.
After a while I couldn't take it, I was not used to him being like this, so I told Jessica that I'll go towards him. She nodded and said she'll stay in place.
'I never seen him...be not him...' I had butterflies in my stomach despite what I'm seeing
He doesn't seem to notice my presence as I got close to him. Whatever it is that's making him cry like that must be a bad memory. As I was a few meters from him, I knelled down and gently called his name.
"W-what a-are you d-doing he-here?" he asked while tears were still falling
"I came to look for you..." I said softly "...are you okay?"
"Yeah..." he said while wiping his tears away with his left arm "...just letting go of my past."
"What do you mean?" I asked now sitting next to him
"I...I'm actually scared. Scared of a lot of things, that's why I act so childish and like that of a numb skull, is because I feel pathetic...worthless...a loser."
"Oh..." how blind of me to see that but I have my faults as well "...do...you want to talk about it?" I asked since it got me curious
"O-okay then...I'll start way back. Before all of this shit we're in now, I used to be a loner. Even though I'm a Rhino user, I felt like I was weak." he scratched the back of his head
"I...joined random squads and I always try to do my best, but usually I ended up getting someone in danger. I would be always told it's alright, at least the person is alive, but I can see that they're despising me. I would usually act smug and keep my facade...when we get back here, I would go to isolated places and just...just let it out."
"When I let shit out I would throw a tantrum. As of recent I just sit and ponder on things but after that mission in the void...I just let it all out." Harold said, then he looked down
"Then there was a moment where I started to go full on childish..." he said while still looking down, slowly he looked back up making eye to eye with me
"...do you remember that time, that mission I did back then?" he asked and I looked at him like someone who has amnesia
"What mission?" I asked since I had a hard time remembering, I had so many missions with him but I can't remember him being solo
"Figures, you won't remember that mission, since back then you were trying to be as strong as Jessica. I don't blame you though."
After he said that it came to me. I now know what he was talking about
"Judging by your reaction, I take it that you remember now?" he said with a gentle smile
"Yeah, why did you ask if I remember that mission?"
"Seriously you don't remember?" he asked and I just stared at him
RHINO
I looked at the Banshee user and she just stared blankly at me. Well I guess she doesn't even know how much I like her.
"Alright...so it was a normal day..." I began
Seven years ago
It was a normal day in the Dojo, Tennos going around, being busy with missions, tasks or whatever. I was in the cafeteria eating lunch it was just a sandwich, during that time I was almost broke I only had like 60 credits left, a week before that day I was in a mission with three people, apparently they were in a squad. Their fourth member was down and out that day so they requested for a Tenno who wanted to earn some credits.
I who was counting my little amount of credits overheard them and without inquiring what mission and how difficult it was, raised my hand and said I would join them. Boy was I wrong. The mission was an alert, with a nice 500,000 credits as a reward per head. It was a spy mission on a Grineer galleon. I was with a Mirage, Ivara and Ash warframe users. Well I won't go into detail but let's just say at the start it already went to hell, two out of three items were lost and I kind left the Ash user injured. In the end as we returned to the dojo, everyone ended up getting 125,000 credits each. Well minus me, you see all of my share ended up as payment for the Ash's treatment,
lost of two important data and other stuff. I had with me was 1,500 credits so I had to watch out the credits I was spending.
Flash forward to now as I was eating my very plain simple sandwich, I glanced around to see other Tennos eating delicious meats, fish and vegetables, I also watched them enjoy drinking water from their refillable containers, while I just keep count of my disposable water ball container. I was miserable...but I hid it...somewhat.
Suddenly majority of the Tennos were whispering with each other, for a moment I thought they were referring to me. I then followed their gazes to see the three original members of Shadow Fighters leaving the docking bay. I felt sympathy for them, they must be going through some turmoil. Last month they lost their squad leader. Honestly I want to have a squad like that, where all four don't treat each other like comrades but as a family.
"Sure wish I was in that squad." a voice said next to me
"Huh?" I turn my head to the right to see this woman standing with her arms crossed
"I said, I sure wished I was in that squad, taking on very high risk missions and fucking up the enemy." she said while still looking at the S.F.S
"Oh..." she seems determined
"By the way, my code name is Banshee 27-T4. What's yours?"
"Oh...uhm Rh-rhino 43-M5."
"Oh so you're the guy who screwed up an alert mission." after she said that I looked away and took a bite from my sandwich
"Hey. Don't dwell on that, you were probably not well prepared for that situation."
I froze, since I was not expecting that. I was expecting an insult, a mockery. Making fun of the fact I'm a Rhino user who fucks up. After that she left and I was alone to finish my food and count my remaining water supply. When dinner time came I ordered the usual. As I got my sandwich I heard a Tenno whisper something, that almost made my facade break
"Hey look it's that guy who buys that really cheap ancient food." a Tenno said
"Yeah, I heard he fucked up badly in an alert mission, that Ash user still hates him. Even if he's alright now." another said
I quickly walked away from the cafeteria bringing my sandwich with me and by some bad luck I bumped into someone and I fell on the floor. I quickly looked up to see Nyx 50-D1 with what used to be my sandwich all over her.
"Oh shit...I'm sorry!" I said quickly getting up to get the food off her face, in my haste I accidentally bumped her and she fell down
"OH CRAP, OH CRAP!" I panicked and offered my hand to help her but she did a leg swipe and down I fell again
"WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING YOU DUMBASS! I'M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR FUCKING CHILDREN LIKE YOU! NOW FUCK OFF!" she yelled and off did I ran
The Tennos who were there, were laughing at my misfortune, as I ran away. When I finally got far I checked my stuff and found out I only had 15 credits left. I went to a terminal to check what I ordered to realized it wasn't my usual. Apparently I ordered a special version of what I usually eat.
'Oh for fucks...' I cursed myself
I would not survive tomorrow in an empty stomach so I went to the mission relay board and looked for a mission every mission was high risk, high reward missions. I couldn't take any of those. I decided to check special missions and I found an easy mission all I had to do was scan some plants and the reward was 5,000, which was probably enough to get me by next month and a half.
I took the mission and went to the armory to gear up, mission states that there is an enemy presence there, use high powered weapons was it's recommendation. As I enter the armory I saw the Ash user in his warframe I look away but failed as he sneered at me. I cautiously walked pass him to get a gun, as I looked I realized that the high powered weapons were not yet allowed for my rank. So I just ended up arming myself with a Braton rifle a Skana and luckily a Lex pistol.
As I was about to leave the Ash user blocked my path
"Hey fucker, thanks to you my squad failed our mission." he then gets closer to me "Where are you going, huh?" he said threateningly
"I...I'm going on a special mission." I said trying to be brave
"Oh really now?" he then accessed the missions relay and found the mission I was taking
"You're doing an errand mission? AHAHAHA! How fucking pathetic are you? HAHA Well this does fit a loser like you! AHAHAHAHAHA!"
The laugh he gave out was demoralizing to be honest, I quickly ran out of the armory and went to my ship. When I got inside I quickly set course to Earth. The journey there was somewhat okay, I gathered what I needed in time, my ship was near my drop point. I got down on the LZ and started to collect some plants.
My comms were currently set for Grineer comms to help me steer away from them. About twenty minutes in, I was done with collecting the plants. I avoided Grineer patrols left and right, since I didn't have enough for defensive mods. As I was about to leave I felt something hit me then the obvious sound of a vulkar sniper being used. Next thing I know Grineers are open firing at me.
I took cover behind some metal containers and returned fire. I was doing fine killing some Grineer soldiers, that is until a Frontier Hellion managed to flank me and open fire. The explosion made me fly back and hit a rock wall, I didn't break any bones thankfully but I had a deep wound caused by the explosion.
I got up despite the pain, and I killed the Hellion unit. I quickly went through a wall of gunfire to get to the area where my ship was. Yet the Grineers were too many for me to kill. I decided to run towards the trees and heal myself. After I made sure I was hidden I got out the first aid kit, I got a roll of gauze and covered my wound. I didn't have anything to disinfect the wound.
'Fuck...I was careless...' I then listened to the comms
'FIND THAT TENNO, WHO KNOWS WHAT HIS MISSION IS!' screamed by a Grineer soldier
'We lost the Tenno in sector D1, will go through D5, E1 and G2. Over.' another soldier said
'I found a blood trail, will follow.' when I heard that I looked around to see I left a trail and there was a Grineer Elite
I stayed still for a moment and when he was near I opened fire and killed him, but that blew my hiding spot so I fled to another. I ran for hours and i felt myself getting tired. So I decided to just lay behind a large rock. I checked my injury to find it got infected.
"Fucking great..." through my helmet I sent out a signal , but the signal was very low.
'Hope someone picks it up...' I said to myself and laid my head on the rock
Five hours went by and no one has picked up my signal, and I was now in a bad situation I was getting drowsy, I was coughing blood and I was feeling weak.
'Someone...please pick up...' I said to no one '...please...' I was pleading to whoever to pick up my signal
The minutes were ticking by and so was my life, I guess this is it a fuck up like me was going to die...alone and forgotten...
As I was ready to give up I heard a weak voice, I thought it was nothing but my imagination but the voice kept repeating something. I tried my best to hear what was being said and finally...
'...Tenno, are you there?' a voice
'...T-tenno do-down...h-help...' my voice was raspy
'Tenno, what is your location over?'
'...I...do-don't know...' I then mustered the strength to say something that I hope may help '...I'm at Earth...' my head tilted to the side since I couldn't hold it anymore
'...pl-please...he-help...' was all I said before my hearing finally gave up
I don't know how long I stayed there, slowly dying but the darkness of the jungle suddenly faded as I saw a flashlight, then from one flashlight it became multiple flashlights. I feared that it might be the Grineers looking for me to dissect me. I was already dying, so I don't give a fuck anymore. Then a flashlight found me and I was prepared to give up but then what greeted me was a Banshee user.
"This is Banshee 27-T4 of rescue group charlie, we found him. He's barely alive. Requesting an medivac on location Gold 56112 Lima."
Why does her code name sound familiar...I know I've heard it somewhere before...my question abruptly ended as two Tennos an Atlas and Chroma users picked me up and placed me in a stretcher. The same Banshee user came up to me
"We'll get you out of here..." I was lost for words...someone cares for me "...Rhino 43-M5."
That's when it hit me, I met her at the cafeteria...
"Th-thank you...f-for co-coming..." I managed to say
"We never leave a comrade behind."
Then the events after that was me being loaded up in a medic ship and was worked upon. I spent the next three weeks in the medical ward. After that I was let out and I got my payment of 5,000 credits plus an extra 5,500 for the shit I went through. I didn't complain the amount, I was glad I had enough to survive.
I was at the cafeteria eating the same food and drinking from my disposable water balls. I was glad I didn't get much attention...that is until Nyx 50-D1 came up to me
"Hey, you're Rhino 43-M5, right?" she asked
"Oh...uhm...I-I'm sorry for what happened before..."
"Hey, I should be the one saying sorry. I was going through some bad moment that time. I'm sorry I snapped at you."
"He-hey its alright..." I then saw those two Tennos that made sad that day
Nyx probably felt my emotion and asked what caused it, I told her what happened that day
"...and then that was when I accidentally bumped in to you." I said my sandwich long eaten
"...where are those two Tennos?" she asked all of a sudden and I can sense she was pissed. I bashfully pointed with my head at their direction.
She looked at them then back to me
"Thanks, I will deal with them, also what's your actual name?"
"Ha-harold..."
"Cool, mine's Jessica, hopefully we can be friends." she then gave me a friendly tap at my shoulder. Then she went to the two Tennos.
She ordered them to get up from their seats and gave them a hard verbal lashing about being mean to their comrade. She then ordered them to do fifty push ups on the spot. That was the day I found some people actually care for me and I made a friend. Sure wish I befriended that Banshee user...she's kinda cute.
Present
"The rest is history." I told Anna and she was blushing
"Yo-you think I'm cu-cute..."
"Still think you are..." I said blushing myself
NYX
I listened to Harold's story and I remember that day now. I was still grieving the suppose death of Jack and I let my anger out on a lower ranked comrade. I felt really bad for doing that and I was glad Harold forgave me, plus I punished those two Tennos severely after making them do push ups. I then walked towards them.
"Hey you two." I noted how both were blushing and it was adorable
"Hey..." they both said
"Can you tell me Harold who that Ash user was?"
"Actually I don't know his name or code name..."
"Alright, let's check the archives, come on. It's kinda sad and lonely here. Follow me."
I watched as both of them got up and we walked to the archives room. Once there I looked up alert missions from seven years ago. I found the mission, and the names of the Ash user. Afterwards I tracked his location and he was in the grand hall with people who I assumed was his squad. With him were a Mirage, Ivara and Loki users.
The three of us walked towards the Ash users group, Harold was telling me not to do it but I was determined to make the Ash user apologize to Harold.
"Ash 70-U1, name Bruce?" I asked as we stopped in front of him
"Yes that would be me and who would you be babe?" I wanted to beat up this douche on the spot
"I'm Nyx 50-D1."
"Oh, what honor it is to be talked to by the beautiful Jessica, everyone knows your name beautiful." he then probably saw Harold as his mood changed
"Oh hey, it's the errand boy! Still doing errand missions? You pathetic joke? Ahahahaha. Is he bothering you ladies? I can beat his ass in the sparring ro-" he never finished what he said as Anna's fist collided with his face.
She then grabbed him and threw him on the floor while continuing to punch his face. Harold then restrained Anna while the Loki help his squad mate
"Fuck you, fuck you for making fun of my squad mate. Fuck you for demoralizing him on that day seven years ago. Because of you he almost died on that "errand" mission, you asshole!" Anna basically screeched as her warframes namesake.
"Hey, hey, please calm down. It's cool, I'm still alive right?" Harold said trying to calm down the enraged Banshee user
"If it weren't for that douche then I could have lost you that day...I could have never ended being in a squad with you." Anna said the last part that only me and Harold heard her. I then walked to the currently standing Ash user
"I want you to apologize to Harold over there." I plainly said
"If I don't?" he said challenging my rank
"Then, one I punish you for disrespecting a Tenno who's position is higher than your. Yes, my friend over there is a higher ranking officer. You've just disrespected him in front of two much higher ranking officers. Which is me and my friend Anna who gave you a new face..." I so wanted to beat up this dickhead so badly "...the second part is I report this to Mother and who knows what punishment she as in store for the likes of you." I said with a venomous tone which worked because he lost the colors of his face.
"He-hey man, I'm sorry for being an asshole to you, can you forgive m-me...?" he said
"Yeah. Also good decision." Harold said now hugging and comforting a crying Anna
"May I know who the squad leader is?" I asked
"That would be ma'am." the Mirage said
"I want you to educate your squad member in being kind to others." I said
"Yes ma'am, I have been telling him he'll get what he deserves if he kept that attitude." she said
"Good. Punish him if he doesn't comply, understood?" I ordered
"Very clear ma'am." she nodded her head
"Good..." I then looked at Harold and Anna "...come on let's grab something to eat."
We got to the cafeteria, me and Anna ordered some fish and vegetables. Harold got himself a sandwich...wait what...
"Hey, Harold. Why are you ordering that, no offence but don't you have a large sum of credits?" I asked
"Oh, uhm I didn't tell you girls but I'm saving my credits..." he looks down so we can't see his eyes
"If I can ask, what are you saving for?" Anna asked nicely
"It's kinda embarrassing to be honest..." he said still looking down
"Come one, we're friends I won't laugh at whatever you'll say. Swear." I said to reassure him
"...a refillable water container..." he said
"Really?" I said
"Ye-yeah, plus I always have to get my things repaired, which costs a fortune." Harold finally lifted his head, both Anna and I can see he was on the brink of tearing up, it might have caused him to remember some bad memories.
I was about to put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, but Anna gave him a hug.
"I'm sorry, if that brought a bad memory. I've been giving you shit for so long that I didn't notice the hardship you've been experiencing.
I'm so sorry." Anna said
"It's alright, really. I kinda pushed your buttons back then, so I'm equally at fault as well." Harold said with small tears falling
"Still...it doesn't change the fact that I was a bitch to you for so long." Anna said hugging Harold a bit tighter
"Well, don't get me wrong that's one trait I like about you..." Harold said, then his eyes widen
"What did you say?" Anna asked loosening her hug a bit
"Uhm..."
'This is so cute!' I said to myself as I watch my two friends get really close
"Hey, Anna if I can ask..." Harold said ignoring the question "...how'd you find me?" he asked the Banshee user

"Well..." the Banshee user began
Seven years ago
I was finishing up my lunch then the S.F.S walked from the docking bay, almost instantly everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the best squad. Everyone knew what happened to their squad leader and sadly the clan founder.
I said "I sure wish I was in that squad" because they were the best and I wanted a squad like that. I know I don't have what it takes to be in that squad. Then the Rhino user next to me stupidly said "Huh", I repeated what I said and I said my warframe code name, he then gave me his code name. After hearing that I realized he was the Rhino user that screwed up a mission, I couldn't shut my mouth fast enough. I ended up reminding him of the shit he went through. I said that he should not dwell on the past, so that he can become stronger. I saw what I said impacted him so I decided to walk away.
After how many hours I was helping out in the bridge, monitoring the original system for any disturbances. All was normal until a Tenno called Vauban 23-O5, apparently there was an incoming emergency call from a Relay. Vauban then connected the call
"Hello this is Vauban 23-O5, what emergency do you need?"
"Hello this is the Strata Relay, we have received an emergency distress signal from a warframe that belongs to your dojo..." everyone in the bridge instantly glued their eyes on the Tenno in the command center of the Strata Relay "...five minutes ago we have received an call from a squad of Spec Ops Tenno's that they intercepted a weak emergency signal. They tried to numerous times to make contact for five hours, after many failed attempts they managed to contact the Tenno. He could not give a proper location but the next best info they received was that the Tenno was on Earth."
The Tenno paused for a moment to catch his breath, it was obvious he was worried as well
"They then contacted us, after explaining the situation we quickly checked all dojo's database about anyone doing a mission on Earth, all of the regular missions were all reported clear, we then checked the special missions and only one was still on going. After quickly checking the mission requests we've discovered that Warframe user Rhino, code name Rhino 43-M5, is in a life threatening situation."
I was shocked, that name sounded familiar and after racking my brain I realized I talked to him earlier in the cafeteria
"What's the status now?" Vauban asked
"As of now the Spec Ops squad is on their way to here to resupply and to plan a S.A.R mission." the Relay operator said
"Understood will send some of our people to the Relay." Vauban said
"We will prepare our S.A.R operators, do hurry." the operator said
"Roger." Vauban said and quickly ended the call
He then called for the search and rescue squads, he told them to prepare for an urgent mission in 5 minutes. I then went up to the Vauban and said I'll join the mission, since I've interacted with the Rhino user, plus my abilities might come in handy. He gave me a nod and told me to get ready and go to the docking bay.
I saluted and quickly got my warframe on, got my weapons and other essential things. I then proceeded to the docking bay where I joined the search and rescue teams. We quickly got on board and hyper jumped to the Strata Relay. Once we docked we were greeted by a Relay operator who quickly motioned us to follow him.
We entered the Relay and passed by confused Tennos, we got to the control room and there waiting for us were the Relay's own S.A.R team and I assumed was the Spec Ops team, they were comprised of a Zephyr, Hydroid, Limbo and an Oberon. Once everyone was inside we were briefed of the current situation and after planning for ten minutes, we all got into teams and got into ships prepared by the Relay.
We flew into Earth and once we landed we wasted no time in searching the place, we were also looking out for any Grineer soldiers. We scoured the place where Rhino 43-M5's signal originated from. I used my abilities and after some time I found his location. We cautiously went to the downed Tenno's location. I then found him barely alive. I was very glad to have found him. I quickly told everyone we found him. He needed emergency evac. Once he was placed in a stretcher, the team went to the designated LZ and boarded the vessel.
As we were nearing the Relay Rhino stopped breathing and I quickly preformed CPR on him, once we landed the medical team in the Relay took over and we rushed him to the medical bay. We were yelling for people to get out of the way and all of them had a look of horror, upon seeing a dying comrade. Probably were newly awakened Tennos, the veterans on the other hand were telling others to move so that the path was clear and the medics can focus on the Rhino user.
When we got the medical bay, the medics were able to stabilize him and did surgery on his injuries. I was outside getting a drink when the Spec Ops team walked up to me
"Hey, glad to have someone like you. On this mission." the Hydroid user said
"Yeah, we heard he's a clan mate of yours." the Oberon user said
"Yeah...hope he makes it." I said
"Don't worry, for someone to be still alive for how many hours with that injury is a tough nut. Just believe." the Zephyr said
"I agree. Your friend will be alright." the Limbo user said
After a while the doctors said he made it and we can safely transfer him to the dojo's medical ward. I said bye to the Spec Ops team and along with the dojo's S.A.R team we flew Rhino back.
Present
And that's that. I said to Harold
"I can't remember my heart stopped beating..." he said
"It's alright, you're still here now." Jessica said
NO ONE
The trio were eating together and Anna excused herself as she decided to do something kind. While Jessica was chatting with Harold, Anna on the other hand bought a refillable water container. She hid it behind her back and went back to their table. Once there she casually placed it on the table and told Harold it was his. Harold was lost for words at the gift Anna gave him.
"Uh...t-thanks, how much do I owe you?" Harold asked while trying to get his credits out
"Nothing. I don't want to be paid back." the Banshee user said
Harold kept insisting that he pay her back, while the Banshee user kept saying its fine. They forgot the Nyx user's presence and she thought of something. Without the two noticing it she walked behind Anna and bumped her ass with the Banshee users, which in turn made Anna stumble into Harold and the result was them kissing each other on the lips.
Both separated and were blushing tomato red. Jessica was laughing at the two, after a while the two blushing Tennos were silently eating. When all of them were done Jessica said she'll leave them alone and went who knows where. Harold and Anna were awkwardly silent until Harold broke the silence
"A-anna..." Harold began
"Ye=yes?"
"Uh, th-thanks for the gi-gift..."
"N-no problem...it's my way of repaying you for...everything." the Banshee user said
"You...you have a nice soft lips..." Harold said while scratching his head
"Th-thanks...your not a bad kisser yourself..."
"Can we go to the observatory?" Harold asked which Anna nodded
So the two Tennos walked to the observatory and both were silently looking outside the window
"Hey Anna, I want to s-say something..."
"What is it?"
'Here goes nothing...' Harold said to himself
"I was very glad to have met you that day, two years ago and after that I wanted to be close to you but I don't know how, since I was weak and I didn't want to let you down, I decided to train and get stronger but that didn't help me in trying to get close to you. Yet these past months, I was glad to have ended up in a squad with you..." Harold then looked at Anna "...Anna, I really like you, is there a chance you could be..." Anna was holding her breath since she knew what was coming next "...my girlfriend?" Harold blushed after asking
"...yes..." Anna said with tears forming in her eyes "...yes Harold...I would like to be your girlfriend." Anna tearfully said and gave the Rhino user a tight hug.
Harold returned the hug and then Anna without hesitation kissed Harold passionately on the lips. He returned the kiss and that was it. Both Tennos were happy, unknown to them Jessica was spying on them and she took a picture using her helmet.
'They are so cute...wait until the others see this!' the Nyx user squealed to herself
Hey hey hey, I'm back. Sorry for disappearing for months. I got preoccupied by my thesis and I actually forgot about this story.
I was just browsing through here and that's when I discovered I was making a story. So after backtracking I've somewhat remembered the flow of this story and how it goes. I realized my mistake on the last part of the previous chapter where I placed the "20 mins before the start of the meeting" or some shit...well to lazy to fix that.
