TRINITY
I was in my post at the medical wing, logging in a long list of tennos who were brought in due to illness, injury sustained doing a mission or not and what was and honestly still is...well a bit now...logging those who died. As I log in different tennos who were all K.I.A, or died in the OR, I said a prayer to ever single one of them that they may find peace.
What my ancestor taught me was a wake up call to do my best. Speaking of my best I was also hoping my shift ends so I can look for Maria. I wanted to tell..no I want to confess to her what I had to do and what I feel for her. Damn it I never thought I would fall for her but I'm glad she's more than a sister to me now and I would fuck whoever hurts her bad, her and my family, I will not hesitate placing my fist down someone or things throat.
After logging the info I looked to see my shift was over, I logged out and said bye to my fellow medic another Trinity user. I then went to the cafeteria to see if the Mag user is there and sure enough there she is. She probably saw me and waved at me, I waved back then proceeded to sit with her.
"Hey, what'cha eating?" I asked after sitting
"Nothing much just some salad to keep my balance of eating vegetables and meat." she said
"That's good, keeping yourself healthy, but don't forget to exercise." I said trying not to blush
"I know, I know. We always do that together."
"We sure do, hold on I'm gonna buy myself some food." I said giving me a reason to blush without her seeing me
"Okay."
I went to the ordering section and got myself some good meal, I paid and went back to Maria, as I was eating I can't help but glance at her from time to time, she looks kinda distracted tho. I wonder what's on her mind
MAG
'OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT, SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL' I screamed in my head
'Get it together you, Shelia and you have been together for how long, you could break the friendship we've built.'
I'm sure I look lost as I notice the Trinity user glancing at me. I could feel my heart beat a bit faster and I'm sure her sensors would pick that up. How the fuck should I tell her my feelings for her?
I know, I should ask her if she wants to just walk around and try to find a place where I can confess to her...yeah that sounds alright...
right...
Somewhere...
Both Harold and Anna sneezed together and looked at each other with the same though
'Who's talking about me?'
Back to Mag
"Hey, after eating want to walk around?" I asked
"Sure, why not."
After eating we walked towards the elevator so I can bring her to the garden on the 99th floor, but before that we passed a hallway and I stopped and nudged Shelia to look at the direction I was looking at. We both giggled seeing our team mates Harold and Anna sharing a quick passionate kiss, still can't believe it after Jessica told us. I just hope she does not see us...
Somewhere...again...
'Ohhh...I sense a new ship about to sail...need to hurry...' said person got up from meditating to look for some people
Back to Mag...again...
After that sight me and the Trinity user went to the garden, after the elevator door open we step out to a wooden platform, below it is water which circles around the base of the elevator. Its about 40 inches long after that is a whole floor of different plants and pathways, with different benches scattered across. 250 meters in front of the elevator are two stairways facing each other with a cobblestone path in the middle, it almost looks like those in the Orokin Towers. Above us is a veranda that circles around the whole room.
NO ONE
The Mag user then motioned for the Trinity user to follow her to a bench surrounded by beautiful plants that came from Earth. They both sat and for a few minutes were silent. Then very slowly Maria slide closer to Shelia and tried to place her hand with the medics but the Mag user hesitated and was about to withdraw her hand, but Shelia's hand suddenly grabbed hers. That surprised the Mag user, she blushed while looking at an equally blushing Shelia.
"Uh...are you..." Maria began
"...yeah..." Shelia said
"...are you really..." Maria continued
"...yeah..." Shelia said again
"...bu-but..." Maria's poor brain was now overloading
Shelia tightened her hold on the other woman's hand but kept it gentle, unknown to them a certain Nyx user was hiding behind a tree holding her helmet, waiting for them to kiss. Jessica was so focused on what she's doing that she did not notice the drool coming out of her mouth, or the fact passerby's were staring strangely at her
'Come on you two love birds...had to influence Shelia just a bit, to get them moving...come on you two...' Jessica was now looking like a madman waiting to pounce on her victim.
By now Maria was crying from happiness and was holding the Trinity user tightly, Shelia was gently rubbing circles on the Mag users back.
"There there love..." Shelia said lovingly "...shhhh..." Maria was still crying burying her face on the other woman's neck, after a minute of crying the moment the Nyx user was waiting for
Slowly but surely Shelia place her free hand on Maria's cheek, made her look at her and locked her lips with the Mag users. Jessica took the picture and almost pissed herself from the moment, she then silently left the two alone and went off to god knows where.
Shelia and Mag were in heaven, both so lost in their own little world that they did not notice the other clan mates smiling and being happy for the two lovers. After a minute they both separated to catch their breaths
"I love you." Shelia said instantly
"I love you too." Maria replied
Both women got up and walked to the elevator to go to the observatory, what they did not see is a certain Excalibur user fall with a Rhino user landing on top of him
"Did you fucking see that Adam?" Rhino asked still processing the scene
"Saw it...fuck your heavy..." Adam said trying to get Harold off of him
"So...uh...do your partners know about this?" Joe asked who came from out of nowhere
The two ladies didn't even bother to investigate the loud screaming of two people as they enter the elevator to go to their destination. When they arrived they never let go of each other and somehow managed to walk to an empty spot and sit on the ground with no problem.
"Have I ever thanked you for protecting me when we first met?" Maria asked
"No you haven't." replied Shelia
"Well thank you. For that day and the ones after that." the Mag user said blushing
"I have to admit love, you also saved me from my fears." the medic said
"You don't have to tell me what happened to you in the past now, you probably need time to heal yourself..." Maria said
"No, it's alright now is a good time, it's time for me to let it go, I was already forgiven..."
TRINITY
I held Maria close to me and honestly I was a bit hesitant to tell my story, but you know what, for me to move on I do need to let go.
"I was once like this but after failing to save many Tenno lives in the past made me scared to join missions. Even if that affected my ranking up progress, I didn't care, because I don't want to see someone die in front of me ever again..."
Flashback
After failing to save my fellow Tenno for the last time, I stopped going into missions and decided to be a receptionist at the medical wing of the dojo. There I can be left alone and I don't have to deal with death ever again, all I had to do was check on the conditions of the patient, and if things go south I don't have to deal with it since there are more experienced doctors in here. I could just put a fake smile and cheery attitude to get shit done, but under that I was a fucking mess, glad I could always bullshit my way out whenever a Nyx user asks me. That is until one day...
I was at my post, organizing the list of patients in the data base, I finished early and was ready to lock myself in my room. As I was about to clock out an emergency was happening and any free medics were to meet up at the ICU room to get items for a critically injured being. I knew that the other Trinities and Oberon's were in missions or are on the clock so I tried to pretend that I was busy, but an Oberon saw me, called me out to help. I had no choice since he was my superior and he knows my schedule. So much for pretending...
So me and the Oberon user met another Trinity and Oberon user, we pack the items and were told to double time, the patient was dying. That alone made me anxious and scared.
"Hey...it's gonna be alright. You're not alone, kay?" my superior said since he has my records and knew of the traumatic events I had went through. I nodded
When we were done we headed to the docking bay and saw a extremely damaged landing ship being carefully lowered down, some Tennos were signaling the pilot of the other landing ship how close it was to the ground, when it was safely lowered the pilot was revealed to be two members of Shadow Fighters.
I kinda zoned out but next thing I knew I was removing the helmet of an Excalibur user, he was fucked really bad, I honestly thought we would loose him but thankfully he survived somehow. Sometime later he was fully healed and was welcomed to the Dojo, seeing him survive made something in me reignite...was it...hope? I don't know. Next thing I know I was assigned to take care a Mag user who was recently awaken. She was resting in the room where was assigned to. She was quiet and obviously scared so I tried to calm her down.
"Hi." I said
"...hello..." she said in almost a whisper
"Your safe, you're surrounded by good people."
According to the report, she awoke in Eris, a hellhole. Originally she was in her capsule on board a Corpus ship. For unknown reasons the ship was abandoned and all of the cargo including her were left, the ship drifted in space unmanned for almost a year before it somehow ended up crashing in Eris. Good thing a fail safe system in the capsule was still intact and sent out an emergency signal to Tennos.
A squad was able to intercept the signal and rescue her before the Infestation was able to get to her. She was in quarantine for about a month or two. Afterwards she was under my care.
"According to the chart you'll be fit to go in a weeks time." I said to her and she nodded her head
A week went by and she was discharged, the Dojo had accepted her with open arms. She was going to missions which were fairly easy but she refused to go to difficult missions. I don't know why but I kept tabs on her, so far the only injuries she sustain were scratches and bruises. That kept my mind at ease. Until one day...
I was making my rounds in the medical wing, minding my own business. It was quiet just the right amount for me though. Then the alarm went off to signal that an injured Tenno was on their way back. I didn't know why but I had a bad feeling. Time went by and my other fellow medics rushed in with an injured Mag user she was on her side since an arrow was going through her lower abdomen, what made me shiver in fear was the arrows design...it was for the bow called Dread. The primary weapon of Stalker. I asked who she was and dread did come to me since they said her code name was Mag 00-B3, the one I was taking care of.
I watched as she was brought to the ICU, surgery was done to remove the arrow and repair the damage to that area. The operation lasted for thirty hours but thankfully she survived. She stayed in the medical wing for three months to recover. After that whenever she went to missions I tagged along, she was thankful and I was glad to somehow get out of the shell I hid myself in. Then next thing I knew she was now my permanent squad mate and the rest was history.
Present day
"...and then I find myself sitting next to the person I love." I finished making her blush
I wrapped my arm around Maria and kept her close, enjoying her warmth. I never did get to know what happened that day Stalker attacked her.
Well here goes nothing...
"Hey love?" I began
"Hmm?" she asked while resting on my shoulder
"If you're okay to say, what happened on that day?"
"Hmm..."
MAG
"Hmm..." I said trying to recall the events that happened that day, I should be scared to tell that tale but with Shelia holding me lovingly, the fear is gone
"Well..." I began
Flashback
I was with a temporary squad, we had a simple extermination mission on board a Corpus ship, when we arrived we entered through the ventilation system. We landed on the engine room. We then proceeded in killing the Corpus units in the vicinity. We had to kill one hundred and sixty nine Corpus units. So far we took out one hundred and sixty only nine more to go. The last nine enemies were near our extraction point so there's that. As we enter the room we found the last nine all dead, hanging off the ceiling. Then the lights began to flicker.
"What the..." I said
"SHIT WE NEED TO EXFIL NOW!" the Grendel user with me said with fear in his voice
"Wh-what's going o-on?" I asked clearly scared
"Don't worry dear, we'll be alright." An Ivara user told me
"...are you sure?..." a voice said in our radio coms
"Danger detected, exfil now!" the Lotus A.I. told us and we ran
As we started to run the doors closed in front of us, I ran to the console to unlock it, while the others were scanning the area for the enemy.
"Come on come on..." the Wukong user with us said
"THERE!" I yelled out as the door was now unlocked
We ran through a long hallway, the lights flickered frantically then total darkness. We turned our lights on to see...a black and red Warframe blocking our path, we turned around only to see two more Warframes blocking us. A stand off ensured, neither of us making a move that is until the Grendel user attacked the black and red Warframe. The other two engaged the other two Warframes and I was left to try and unlock the door again.
"You did a great sin Volt user..." the black and red Warframe said
"I didn't do anything!" the Grendel user screamed
"Oh but you did...you slaughtered an entire settlement, just to collect the items and sell them to whoever." he said
"H-how..." the Grendel user said
"We were there...we managed to save a few but you...oh you also looked like hellbent on genocide that day."
"FUCK YOU!"
Bullets and arrows were ricocheting around me, which did not help since I was panicking to open the door. Eventually I succeded. I did not notice though that the black and red Warframe shot an arrow towards the Grendel user
"I OPENED I-" I never finished what I said since I felt something hit me
I looked down to see an arrow going through my body. I did not know that the Grendel user managed to avoid the arrow, which ended up hitting me. I staggered back and almost fell back first if not for the black and red Warframe user.
"I-I am so sorry." he said and gently laid me down on my side
"We will depart now. Abandon the mission..." he said and looked at the Grendel user "...I will see you again."
With that the lights flickered and those three vanished. I laid there trying to catch my breath, the Ivara user gently picked me up then said
"WE NEED TO GO! IF NOT SHE'S GONNA DIE!" she yelled and at that point I felt sleepy
"I-I'm sleepy..." I said
"No, no don't sleepy sweetie. Come on stay awake keep talking to me." she said as she, the Grendel and Wukong user were running towards exfil.
When we were on our way back I kept slipping in and out of consciousness, the Ivara user never left my side, she was comforting me. Just like that Trinity user who was always with me in the medical wing. During that time I didn't know but the Grendel user and Wukong user were in a heated verbal argument regarding what the Grendel user did in the past. Next thing I knew I was surrounded by Oberon and Trinity user, then finally waking up in the medical wing.
NO ONE
"That's about it." Maria said
"Oh my goodness..." Shelia said and hugged the Mag user a little bit tighter tears falling down her eyes
"Hey hey, it's alright I'm still alive ain't I?" she said trying to calm the medic down
"That's true and I'm glad you did survive." Shelia kissed the Mag user
"Oh my...how adorable." a voice said and both women to see a woman with black hair and brown skin standing there with a fit guy next to her, their hands together.
"Uhh, do I know you?" Maria asked
"Oh sweetie, I haven't introduced myself my name is Kira, code name Ivara 08-A7." she said and the Mag user went wide eye
Maria wiggles out of Shelia's hug to hug the Ivara user, tears falling down her eyes.
"There there darling, calm down." Kira said calming the Mag user down
"I'm sorry for getting hurt that day."
"No no, it's okay, in fact I should be the one apologizing to you sweetie. I let you get injured, will you forgive me?"
"Yes...yes I forgive you, thank you." Maria backed away after Shelia gave a fake cough
"Nice to meet you, I'm Trinity 10-K4." the medic said
"Oh, you!" Kira said
"Huh?" Shelia replied
"You probably forgot but we were in a temporary squad before...the day Val...died." the Ivara user said
Shelia remembered instantly and gave a nod signaling that she remembers her
"I just wanted to say, it was not your fault that Val died. I apologize for traumatizing you...I'm sorry." Kira said and hugged the Trinity user who hugged back
"If I may add, I remember you as well, I would also humbly ask your forgiveness, if it were not for my stupid actions the Atlas user would have been here with us. Again I humbly ask your forgiveness." the Wukong user said while bowing his head
"I-it's alright I forgive you...I forgive you both..." Shelia said her tears falling down hard, these tears were not of sadness but of joy, joy knowing that she found peace with those she failed to save and two of those who were in a squad with her gave her peace as well.
"If I can ask...what happened to the Grendel user that was with us?" the Mag user asked
"Oh, him...after honey over here beat the shit out of him while we were trying to save you sweetie, he was arrested for genocide and was sentenced to exile, he was not allowed to join other clans, his face was shown all over the system no Grineer, Corpus, Tenno would want to deal with him. Last I heard he was trying to redeem himself by wiping out the Infested in Eris. Godspeed to him." Kira said
"So...when did you two get together?" Shelia asked
"We...got to know each other more, after the little one was taken by the medical team. I comforted her since she was a wreck..." he paused to gather himself
"...she thought you would not make it. I always kept tabs on her and we finally got close after...after she tried to hang herself..." he held her hand again "...after that I invited her to eat with me and missions, one thing lead to another and next thing I knew we were together." he let a tear slide down his face
"I'm thankful to have met her, and more thankful you lived to find the one who will be with you for a long time." he said
Maria hugged both of them and felt as if they were like her parents, in the end everyone found peace and had made stronger bonds.
The following day Maria and Shelia were blushing madly as Jessica, Marie and Anna were squealing like teen girls, since Jessica showed them the picture she took of Shelia and Maria kissing, Kira the Ivana user was there as well she acted more of a mother to Maria but internally she was screaming in happiness and loving how Maria and Shelia look so cute together.
The girls had a girls day together, the boys together were as well. Vauban and Wukong, whose code name was Wukong 11-G6 and real name was Jin were laughing their asses off so hard the girls could hear them from the other side of the floor, the reason they were laughing someone snapped a picture of Harold being on top of Adam, the angle made it look like Adam and Harold were about to do it in public. That picture would circulate all over the Dojo, with ever member having a copy, it took only a week for the whole system o have a copy of that picture as well. Even Tiffany and Jack had a copy
"Didn't know Adam swung that way as well..." Jack said laughing so hard
"Not gonna lie thought he SWUNG that way when I met him." Tiffany laughing so hard on the floor with her hands wrapped around her
Adam and Harold temporarily became alcoholics because of that.
So hey y'all, sorry for being gone had writers block and did other stuff, so yeah three chapters left until this story ends.
