Guest: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far.

And now let's begin.

He walked towards the house, as he got closer to the door he felt a tingling of excitement and nervousness building up inside his stomach, Rod felt like a stupid teenager who sneaked out of his house in the middle of the night to get laid and to be honest he felt a little better but at the same time, he was looking everywhere while shaking, as if his wife and children would come out of the shadows at any time and shame him for it.

"But what do they know of my suffering?" A voice inside his head tried to reassure him what he was doing was something he needed as a man. In the past, Alma was the only one who could understand him.

His thoughts and woes led him to find comfort in Alma's body once more, he was there now. At the door and behind it, she was there. Waiting for him.

He steadies his nerves and with a sigh, he knocked on the door. For a few moments, no answer was made. He came with the risk of she not opening the door, whether because she was sleeping soundly or for some reason, didn't want him anymore.

But he had nothing to lose by waiting a few more minutes, save for his dignity but at least no one else was there to see him, the second most important man in the walls, waiting outside a farm to have sex with his former servant.

At last, he heard the door opening and he never thought he'd be happy to hear that noise, the door opened partially and then he saw her hazel eyes. He could see she was still asleep since her eyes didn't open completely when she had a look good at him however, they fully opened and widened in surprise, he was pleased to see her reaction and smiled, but soon Alma's surprise would turn into anger, and Rod was taken aback by what she says next.

"Get out of here."

He couldn't process those words but her action of suddenly trying to slam the door at his face got him infuriated and with reflexes and speed he didn't know he had, pushed the door open.

She took a step back, clearly not expecting him to react that fast, he took a good look at her now. Her hair was messy and unkempt from just getting out of bed, she was wearing a simple nightgown that suited her. She looked beautiful as the last time he saw her.

But the last time they saw each other, she wasn't carrying a rifle like right at that moment. With teeth clenched tightly and gripping the gun like her life depended on it. She pointed it at him. "I'd hate to shot you and have to clean your guts and blood on the floor, but we're used to having to sacrifice animals here at the farm when needed, killing another one won't matter."

Now Rod understood how Kenny felt when he pointed his gun at him an hour ago. Maybe it was just him but in the last few years, people's answer to conflict and problems was violence.

He could go for the gun and arrest her for threatening him in such a violent way. But she was just hurt of having been sent away.

"I came here for you Alma," Rod said calmly, raising his hands to show he had no intention of hurting her. "I missed you."

"You just missed having someone on your bed other than your wife." Alma snarled, not lowering the gun. "You promised you'd divorce her then marry me when I told you I was pregnant, then you've sent me away. I won't believe your lies ever again."

"The Royal council wanted you dead Alma, I moved air and earth to prevent that from happening." Rod countered, annoyed his former lover was accusing him without hearing him out.

"Oh how noble of you, I'm sure you--"

"Mother?" Both looked at the same direction, leaning on the doorframe that leads to the halls of the farm was a little girl rubbing her eyes tiredly, she was the same age as Florian but he was sure it was like if Frieda had 6 years old again.

She was a beautiful little girl with big blue eyes and blonde hair, the only difference was that Frieda had dark hair and a more pale complexion, whereas this girl was blonde and with tanned skin.

It mattered not, he knew that was her daughter.

Alma spoke first, with an incredibly soft and kind tone he never heard from his mistress. "Did I wake you up, Historia?"

"No... My belly grumbles and I can't sleep." The girl shook her head while sobbing her belly.

Alma smiled, staring at their daughter and occasionally glancing at him. "I told you not to eat too many lemon cakes."

"I'm sorry." Historia giggled and looked away. "I just love them."

He forgot about Alma entirely, at that moment what he wanted most was to hold his daughter, he knew he wasn't a great parent to his legitimate children but he loved them, this was different, however. How could he tell the girl he was the father that she never met? Especially to the child he wanted aborted. Children were innocent and usually didn't hold grudges "Except for some kids like my nephew". But he saw the same innocence and love in her just like he saw in Frieda when she was born.

He walked to her and halfway there he felt a familiar hand grasping his wrist, he looked at Alma who had lowered the rifle but now stopped Rod from talking to Historia.

"Stay away from her." She warned coolly, the whisper was calm and low but her eyes expressed all the hate she could muster.

"She's my daughter," Rod whispered as well. Don't forget the only reason she's living with you is because I allow it if I wanted I can take her with me... And there's nothing you can do about it except crying."

He felt like an asshole for doing that to her, but it worked. Her gaze softened enough for him to know he had touched a nerve there. She let go of his hand and allowed him to walk towards Historia.

"Historia, it's nice to meet you, My name is Rod Reiss, I'm your father."

She froze for a moment and he was worried he might have been too direct with her. She looked at Alma and then at him.

"But... Mum said... You died." The girl said with uncertainty. Rod glanced at Alma before looking back at his daughter.

"It's... Complicated my girl, but she said it to protect you and her... I'll explain when the time comes." He smiled and ruffled her hair.

"Okay..." It seemed she accepted that answer and she smiled shyly. "Nice to meet you, Mr Reiss."

He frowned and at the same time he was proud Historia had such manners as Frieda.

"Father." He clarified for her. "Please call me father."

"Sorry, father." He accepted her mistake and knelt to her level to hold her in his arms, the girl wasn't smiling like before but such a sudden revelation was a lot to take for a child.

"I'll be visiting you whenever I can Historia, I'll bring you gifts and we'll talk." He promised to her, as he felt her tiny hands wrapping around her neck he felt nostalgic. When was the last time he hugged one of his children like that? He loved them deeply but sometimes he felt that love wasn't reciprocated.

Except for Frieda and now, Historia.

He let go of his daughter and let Alma grab her, he didn't want to push his luck and wake up Alma's father who wouldn't doubt to shot him in the spot. He pulled a small bag of coins out of his coat and handed it over to Alma.

"I didn't bring more gold since I was in a hurry. But this is enough to buy Historia some nice toys and new clothing. I'd be happy if you take it." Rod tried to sound as sweet and caring as possible but Alma let out a snort, he wasn't lying when he said to Uri she was the only one who knew him entirely. He waited to see her response but he knew she wouldn't go angry now that Historia was there. He dared her to spurn the money he knew she needed.

With a sigh, she took it and Rod was pleased. "I'll see you soon my girl." He bent over to kiss Historia's head. "And you, my love." He kissed Alma in the cheek, she didn't see that coming. Alma stared at him surprised and her face contorted into a rage, the hateful stare returned, this time intensified. He, however, won this encounter and bragged right at her face with a smirk.

The next few days, however, weren't as pleasant. In reality, they were the worst of Rod's life.

Eventually, the day had come, his daughter was going to become the next founding titan.

He was sitting on the edge of his bed, he was the only member of the family who hadn't go to the cave under their family Chapel.

He felt heavy and his heart didn't stop beating like if he had run a marathon. He just wanted to go back to sleep and wake up the next day with the news that his nephew took the titan power instead.

But it wouldn't happen, the king had spoken and Kenny had delivered the letter.

He heard a knock on the door and he went to open it, the Ackerman was the man who knocked, with the usual cruel smirk he spoke. "It's your daughter's great day and you're late! What will poor Frieda think of this?"

"Let's get this over with," Rod replied, ignoring Kenny's previous comment. As they walked every step he took was a great effort, he was sweating and he felt dizzy.

"By the way." Kenny broke the silence. "The little lord hasn't gone to the Chapel, you better talk to him, I tried but he told me to fuck off."

Rod wasn't surprised at all, after Uri's decree, Blake isolated himself from them, he stopped talking to Frieda and the rest of Rod's children. It made Rod angry but at the same time, he understood the boy's reaction.

At least his nephew still had his friend, he and Stratmann girl were inseparable, and more so these days, however, the relationship between Blake and Rod's children were severely damaged and everyone in the family knew it.

Kenny climbed onto the carriage. "Hurry up and tell the little lord to stop being a whining brat," The Ackerman announced. "I'll be waiting here since I don't have a choice, your nephew is by the tree close to the lake."

Rod took his time to get there, not because he wanted to piss off Kenny, he truly didn't want to go to the Chapel. When he arrived he saw his nephew sitting under the tree, talking with the Stratmann girl.

"Hey," Rod spoke softly. "I'm worried about you, we all are."

His nephew looked up at him, his face looked like that of someone much older, but under that solemn expression, he could still see a small glimpse of the boy he was when his mother was still around.

"I'm fine uncle." He said dismissively. "I was talking with Carly here if you don't mind." The boy motioned at Carly who was sitting as well, right in front of his nephew, she made a slight bow upon seeing the Reiss patriarch.

The boy's statement made clear that he was interrupting whatever they were talking about and that Rod wasn't welcomed.

"I uh, It's time my boy." Rod tried to remind him but his nephew stared at him blankly.

"Time for what uncle?" Blake grimaced. "If you're talking about the ceremony I won't go."

"You know how important is for your father that his son is there with him?" Rod asked albeit a little more aggressive than he anticipated.

"He knew how important becoming king was to me." Blake countered with equal sharpness in his tone. "But we don't always get what we want, do we?"

"Please, Uri wants--"

"I couldn't care less what your brother wants, Uncle," His nephew cut him off, I believe you have somewhere else to be so I won't take more of your time, good day."

The boy focused his attention on his friend Carly. Rod could try to force him to go with him, he couldn't carry his nephew even if Rod wanted to. The boy was young but showed so much strength, strength, not a boy his age should have, and he was stubborn as his mother.

Rod could order Kenny to carry him though, for all the boy's strength, he was no match for the Ackerman. But what good would that do? It would further ruin his relationship with his nephew and after that afternoon, the boy would be the only legacy that Uri left in this world.

Rod chose to give up and let his nephew be.

He walked back to the carriage where Kenny was just smoking at the driver's seat. "Where's the little lord?" Kenny asked.

"He isn't coming with us," Rod announced as he took a seat next to Kenny. "Let's just go Kenny."

He could remember the trip to the Chapel was not longer than 20 minutes from his home, yet he felt like Kenny had been driving for more than 1 hour.

It seemed Kenny was not his usual self, cruel, sarcastic and overall, an asshole. And he had a good reason to be like that, his best and probably only friend was about to die, a small part of Rod wondered if he and Kenny could bond with all that happening, they were going to mourn the same man after all.

They arrived at the Chapel, the place was more gloomy or maybe it was just the circumstances. As Rod opened the door he waited for Kenny but the Ackerman was just standing.

"I won't go inside there," Kenny said. "If I watch how Uri dies by your daughter's hands then I will feel the urge to smash her head in with my bare hands, so that's why I ain't going."

"I understand." Replied Rod, trying to ignore Kenny's visceral example. "We'll talk later."

"Unfortunately for me, yes," Kenny grumbled and left Rod to walk inside the building alone. He opened the secret hatch that led to the Reiss cave, the place where his ancestors passed the founding titan every 13 years and now, it was Uri's turn.

With a knot inside him, he went in, descending through the stairs, the pillars that held the cave were made out of crystals, the place terrified Rod. He could swear he would hear whispers and always felt that many people were there at all times, it probably was the ghosts of the pasts, previous Kings and their families stayed there, witnessing from another plane of existence like his father would say.

When he arrived Uri was already chained to the altar and his family were staring at him, they were distraught by what was going to happen.

"I didn't want to... restrain him..." His wife informed him. "But Uri insisted Urklyn to chain him for the ceremony."

It was their first time watching the ceremony, they would be scarred for life when the moment Frieda ate Uri came. But they had to witness the ceremony at least some part of it, it was their duty as members of the Reiss family but he wouldn't force them to watch everything.

He made his way to Frieda, the girl was shaking and breathing heavily.

"Frieda, how are you feeling?"

"I'm...nervous, father," She admitted with an uneasy smile. "Where's Blake?"

The rest of his children and wife looked to him as well, waiting for the response they already knew yet had to hear it from Rod.

"He's not comíng, I tried to convince him but he wouldn't listen."

His family was understandably disappointed by Blake's decision, especially Frieda, she frowned and looked away from him, lowering her head and crossing her arms. "It's my fault," she mumbled but he was the only who seems to have heard her. "He wanted this, I took it from him, maybe if he would've come I could have given him our family's power instead."

He took his daughter by the shoulders and gave her a reassuring look. "It's not your fault my girl, he is a little bit mad but he's always been that... Passionate, about things."

She looked calmer if only a little, the main reason she was so overwhelmed by the ceremony was not that she was going to be Queen or inherit Uri's power but rather, how her cousin took things.

"Rod..." His brother called out to him.

"Come here, you haven't say goodbye."

Rod nodded and walked up the stairs and stopped behind his chained brother, he looked pitiful. Like a man past a hundred years or so, he was younger than Rod yet Uri seemed like if he were their father or even grandfather.

"Why didn't you wait for me, Uri?" Rod asked. "I'd hug you but you're all chained up."

"I wanted to get this over with as soon as possible," He turned his head a little at Rod. "To make things less painful for all of you." He smiled gently.

"Nothing in this world would make the loss of a brother easier... Or the loss of a daughter."

"Everything's going to be fine Rod, just have faith."

Rod wanted to believe that with every single cell of his being, but the way Uri said, sounded like when Rod promised something he couldn't keep to his children when they were younger, the type of things one says to calm them down.

"Where's Blake?" Uri asked it seemed he didn't hear when Rod announced his nephew wasn't coming.

"Rod? Where's my son?" He asked again, Rod sighed and prepared to say the bad news to his brother.

"He didn't want to come."

The reaction of his brother made Rod feel a lump in the throat, "Why did I say it like that? I could've told him more gently." Rod recognized,

A part of him wanted to spite Uri for sentencing Frieda to an early grave. And he didn't felt proud of it.

"I... I see." Uri tried to hold back the tears. "Tell him I'm sorry Rod, please tell him I tried."

Rod vigorously nodded and placed a comforting hand in his brother's shoulder. "Is there anything else you may want me to say to him?"

Uri shook his head, but soon after he realised something important, for he changed his mind. "I almost forgot... My diary... I keep it on my desk, give it to him please."

Rod asked if there was something else and this time Uri said there was nothing else, with those words. Everyone resigned themselves to what would happen next.

"I love you, baby brother." Rod kissed Uri's head as a final goodbye. "Please tell father I miss him."

"I will big brother," Uri said, Rod remembered the times when they were children when he heard those words. He didn't want to let go, he hugged his brother's head and stayed there for a few seconds.

Begrudgingly he started to walk away.

And then he heard his brother's last words or some of them. "I did it, my love."

He couldn't hear the rest of them as he walked down the stairs, Uri's last thoughts were dedicated to his wife.

Rod took his place next to his family, Frieda stood right in front of Uri. When she pulled out the small box that contained the Titan serum many things went through his mind.

He could snatch the box from Frieda's hands, go to their house, drag his nephew all the way there and give him Uri's power and the throne of Paradis. But who knows what his nephew would with such power.

Or he could let Uri's time run out and let the power simply vanish, and neither Blake nor Frieda would be cursed with that wretched power. But they would be helpless against their enemies.

He had to just stand there and watch how his brother would die. He blinked and saw his father chained up and Uri standing in Frieda's place, he blinked again and now saw an older, almost elderly version of Frieda about to get eaten by another member of their family.

Like an endless nightmare, the image wouldn't just go away. "Look away, Dirk, Abel, Florian." He said to their family as lighting struck the place and a mindless titan emerged from where Frieda stood.

Dirk and Florian immediately closed their eyes and Urklyn knelt to their level to shield them from such a horrific event. Rod could see Abel was tempted to do the same, but she didn't look away and hugged his mother and him tighter.

As Rod wrapped an arm around his wife and daughter. Frieda's titan grabbed Uri and bite him in half. There was no scream but the sound of Uri's body snapping in half was daunting. Abel finally turned her gaze away and buried her face in Rod's chest.

The Titan collapsed and from the nape, a figure began to emerge. Rod kissed Abel's forehead and looked at his other children. "Stay with Dirk and Florian." Rod urged, "Urklyn, help me get your sister out of her titan's nape." Abel went to her siblings as Elissa, their son and he rushed to Frieda.

They pulled her face out of the titan, she had her eyes closed but she was alright, the Reiss couple and Urklyn called out to her but she wouldn't answer.

After some minutes that seemed like hours, she opened her eyes. "Father? Mother? Urklyn? I had a very long dream." She said tiredly. His wife and son sighed in relief. Rod, however, was horrified when he looked at his daughter.

Those haunting purple eyes signified that her daughter fell to the ghosts of the past.

They all went back home, Frieda slept all the trip, and the rest of their children were silent as if their tongues had been cut off, not even the witty and funny Dirk could light up the mood. The trip continued in silence, Kenny joined in their silence as he took them back.

As soon as the carriage stopped outside their home, his wife and children rushed out of the cart and went inside the house, Elissa gave him a pained look but said nothing. Kenny immediately went who knows where. Leaving only Urklyn, Frieda and him.

"I can carry her to her room, father." Urklyn offered and Rod felt greatly thankful for his son.

He kissed Frieda's head as she was in her brother's arms, at that moment he felt how neglectful he had been to his other children besides Frieda, he ought to fix that, including her illegitimate daughter, Historia.

He squeezed Urklyn's arm and gave him a grateful look. "Thank you Urklyn."

His son didn't say anything, he just nodded and took Frieda inside. Rod didn't go right away, his head was about to explode with so many feelings inside him at that moment, he wondered if their children had it easier or worse, besides the loss of their uncle they didn't have to worry about political affairs.

He made his way inside the house, he roamed the large halls that now seemed even more empty and in his eyes, dull. The light that Uri gave when they were children and teenagers was now extinct and gone for good.

Before joining his wife in bed, he went to Uri's room. As he opened the door. A tall shadow was sitting at the couch. Rod felt alarmed and rushed to see who it was, and his suspicion was confirmed when he saw a drunk Kenny sitting in the couch.

"Kenny." Rod let out a deep sigh. "You scared me."

"Huh?" The Ackerman looked at him puzzled. "Sorry Roddy, I didn't mean to make you piss your pants." he kept drinking as if Rod wasn't there.

He should've to kick Kenny out, the King's Chambers now belonged to Frieda, although knowing her she would prefer to keep her room, she didn't need the ridiculously large room and bed.

Still, Rod would order the room to be locked down and keep the key guarded, out of respect for his deceased brother.

He searched on the desk where Uri said his diary was. He opened the drawers but nothing. He frowned but kept looking.

Then Kenny spoke. "Searching for his diary?" he took a large sip of his drink. "It's inside the main drawer, it has a false bottom, the book is red."

If he knew that, Kenny had been reading it?! Disrespecting his brother's private stuff. Before he could make the accusation, Kenny talked first.

"Before you start insinuating shit, I didn't read anything, I know this because he told me many times."

Kenny wasn't the honest type, but when it came to Uri, Kenny would make exceptions to things he normally never do, so the only thing Rod could do to feel better was to believe what the Ackerman had said.

He just grabbed the diary and left without a word, he just hoped when he came back nothing in Uri's room would be missing.

He walked to the other side of the large house to his nephew's room. He hoped Blake had calmed down by now and wouldn't interrupt him or throw another tantrum. Hell, first the boy would open the door, to begin with. As he knocked, Blake's voice spoke through the other side of the door.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Rod." He announced his presence. "I want to talk to you."

For a moment, Rod thought Blake would just answer through the door or not even answer at all. But to his surprise, the door opened.

Blake was in his pyjamas, a simple dark green shirt with brown pants, his hair, however, was messy and tangled, his eyes were bloodshot and puffy accompanied with his face still red all scrunched up.

"He's been crying for a while." Rod realised, but there was not a reason to say it out loud to his nephew, even if he wanted to comfort him about it, his nephew would most likely deny it and then kick Rod out if he insisted.

Unfortunately, his mind decided to start a conversation with an extremely weird and uncomfortable question.

"How was your day?" Rod mentally cringed when he said that.

Taken aback, Blake titled his head and gave his uncle a dazzled look. "I...uhh... I don't know."

"I'm sorry, that was a stupid question," Rod apologised. "I just came to see how you were doing."

Blake sat on the edge of his bed and shrugged. "I've been better but thank you for your concern."

It wasn't much but it was a victory in Rod's mind. The two stayed in an awkward silence that luckily, didn't last long.

"So... Uncle I wanted to tell you something, I was waiting for the right moment but considering what's going on these days I don't know what can be considered 'the right moment' and since you're here I think this is that moment." he spoke so fast and without a pause, he had to take a deep breath at the end to regain colour in his face, his rambling and hesitation to speak showed he was nervous.

"Of course, what is it?" Was Rod's simple reply.

"I've been an idiot these past few days, I don't want anyone to believe I hate Frieda, it's just that... Everything was so sudden and with her becoming queen and all that stuff I reacted poorly at everything... The king was right when he said I usually react and speak based on strong emotions, especially anger."

Rod stared at Blake expectantly, it was truly surprising to see him open up, especially to him! But for now, he allowed the boy to continue without interrupting.

"She already has a lot to worry and think about now that's she's Queen, and me being an asshole isn't going to help so... I want to apologise with you uncle, and with Frieda, eventually."

He gave the boy a few more seconds to continue but when Blake gave the same expresión to Rod, he knew it was his time to speak now.

"Your aunt and I know and understand why you reacted that way." Rod said, he invited himself to take a seat next to his nephew. "I just wish for our family to be united in these hards times, my children love you dearly my boy as do I and Elissa, but Frieda absolutely adores you and the love she has for you is one you don't see often these days."

It wasn't Rod's intention to cause his nephew to feel guilt but accidentally, he did it. Blake bowed his head and avoiding eye contact, as he rubbed his nape it seemed Rod's words got through him.

"I know, uncle, our family and Carly are the only things I have, which brings me to another matter." he sighed and looked at Rod.

"Go on." Rod encouraged.

"I know Aunt Elissa and Frieda don't like Carly but she's my only friend, her father, my mother and the king were friends when they were young and after Carly's father death I'm the closest thing she has to a family member. And now that Frieda is queen I don't want Carly to be sent away..."

Wow, what had gotten into Blake? He'd never seen his nephew open up so much as he did at that moment. Rod offered all the support and comfort he could

"Frieda dislikes Carly because of jealousy." Rod clarified and he nudged the boy playfully. "She wants you all to herself." his nephew almost smiled at that statement but stopped at the last moment.

"But being serious now, Frieda considers you not only her cousin but her best friend as well, Carly suddenly coming here and starting to hang out with you didn't make Frieda happy at all." Rod's tone turned serious. "But she'll get over it as time passes, she's the Queen now which means she has to mature quickly, and that includes letting go of petty grudges."

Blake seemed a little more at ease as Rod kept talking, he didn't realise how good he was at talking when he put his mind and effort into it.

"And I guess aunt Elissa doesn't like her... Because of Alma Lenz?" The boy inquired and despite not wanting to talk about it, Rod found himself nodding.

"Yes, she doesn't trust the girl because of some stupid mistake of mine in the past, but Elissa will trust Carly eventually, just give it some time my boy and you won't have to worry about your friend," Rod explained as briefly as possible the reason of his wife's distrust towards the Stratmann girl.

The boy was satisfied with Rod's answer or at least, he didn't keep asking or telling him more things that bothered him, to wrap things up. He decided to give Blake his father's diary.

He got up from the edge of the bed and got the diary out of his pocket.

"Oh, here It's Uri's diary," Rod stretched his hand out to him. "He wanted you to have it." As soon as Rod's words reached Blake's ears, the boy hastily replied.

"I don't want it." He looked away petulantly. It seemed like if Rod was talking to two different persons, one the worried boy and the other the resentful one.

"I know you're still upset and that's understandable," Rod spoke quickly before Blake decided to kick him out of his room. "But it's yours now, if you want to keep it and read tomorrow, next year or in ten years that's your decision, my advice is that you read it, so you may understand what Uri went through while he was alive."

"And what good would do that to me, uncle?" Blake asked but his tone was more calm and thoughtful. "The King is dead."

"He is, but many of his decisions were justified, I know he never did them to spite us, he loved us, he wanted you to know he was sorry," Rod replied and Blake snorted, but said nothing else.

"Anyways, I'm going to sleep now uncle, the day's been tiresome." the younger Reiss quickly changed the subject. Rod left the diary in Blake's small table and made his way to the exit. And he opened the door to leave.

"Thank you, uncle."

Rod gave him a kind smile as he left. "Don't mention it Blake."

He closed the door and huge pressure was taken off his body. The upcoming days were going to be difficult.

But who's say being a Reiss has ever been easy?

One week passed, and he alongside his family had to go to the capital to the coronation ceremony.

Despite Uri wanting to make Frieda's coronation public. Rod managed to convince the Royal council to postpone indefinitely the reveal to the public. Every time a new Reiss king was crowned, a little of Instability and unrest would follow but after the first months or so things would back to normal, and every reign would be a time of peace.

And now it was Frieda's turn. As the preparations for her coronation were being made. He knew his girl was destined for something greater than just living 13 years and be a victim of the ghosts of the past, no.

She would be the queen who would change the course of history.

I was planning on writing the coronation scene in this chapter but the chapter would be way longer so let's leave it here. My longest chapter yet! I'm enjoying writing this story so far.

In case some people haven't noticed, the story will be written in POV chapters. The prologue is the exception because I wrote it one year ago when my writing style focused on writing many POVs per chapter and using a third person, omnipresent narration style.

In this style the chapters will be limited to what the POV character feels, knows, thinks and says. Its a little hard to write but it gives more life and depth to the story IMO.

The OC isn't the protagonist and neither is Eren. They will be recurrent characters sure, but we'll also get to see other characters fleshed out.

I will write only about some characters since giving every single character a POV chapter would make this story extremely long and boring in the large run.

So for now some important/ key characters to the plot will have POV chapters.

I believe Rod is a misunderstood character in the series, he's an asshole sure, but in this story we'll get to see how he was before he lost his family and the founding titan, I also believe if his brother Uri had a son, that would've change things as well. He is no saint, but I think he did care for his children.

Tell me what you think, what you liked the most about this chapter or what got your attention.

Always remember! Feedback/criticism is always welcomed and greatly appreciated!

Take care and stay safe.
