PM'd me asking if they could continue writing/typing this story, it took me a long time to respond cuze I did't have a personal laptop, but when I finally got one I told them I'd think about it and in the end agreed. Kevin shot up from his bed, knowing that today was Monday and he had school. Quickly putting on his clothes and putting his books in his bag. Before he went outside to go to School, he went to his backyard to say goodbye to his Superdog.
"Bye Krypto" Kevin shouted and he hugged the Labrador and ran to the door. Krypto waved goodbye to his boy.
"Bye Kevin" The superdog replied back before laying back on the grassy floor, it was early in the morning, so he didn't really need to be up patrolling the city like he usually does.
"Morning K-Dog, just saw Brainy talking to you" A familiar orange feline made itself present on the fence bordering Krypto's house and Andrea's house. Krypto nodded at the orange feline.
"Well, what did she say?"
"She asked me if I eve had feelings for anyone, but never knew how to express it" The white Labrador replied.
"Well you seem to know first hand about that" Streaky stated with a smirk that made Krypto blush in response.
"Yeah, I think she likes me" Krypto got up the grass and look on at the cat, his tail started to wag with excitement. Krypto loved Brainy Barker, at times he didn't feel like she did return the feeling, maybe this was a turning point.
"Probably, you should ask her out" Streaky pointed out, Krypto thought of the idea and denied it.
"But I don't know If I'm ready to ask her out now, maybe next time" Krypto said while turning spinning around, sparkles flying over turning into his superdog form.
"You said that last time she talked to you"
"And I'll say it again, might as well patrol the city early" Krypto said as he started hovering above the backyard lawn, Streaky sighed in exhaustion, it as too early in the morning to be doing anything, Streaky as sure at least the criminals were still in bed, but the determined superdog still wanted to make sure his city was safe.
Lucky for the superdog, another Hero was out of bed and fighting crime already, The Dark hound was in an alley way trying to defend a young woman, A man held a gun to the woman's head, threatening to end her life.
"DON'T MOVE OR I'LL BLOW HER HEAD OFF!" The man shouted at Bathound, the woman was see crying.
"Please...I don't want to die" She pleaded under he breathe, Bathound held his paws up signaling he wont do anything, as the man backed up, the woman in his tight grip, a sharp batarang flew from the Great Dane's collar and cut his hand, forcing his to drop the gun. He let go of the woman and he tried to pick up the gun, his hand was too injured so he just ran away. Bathound reached into his utility collar to reveal a razor sharp batarang that had an blue line running through the base of it. The dog threw it and struck the criminal in his back, causing him to fall down. After the batarang started to flash a blue light and pump small shocks into the man.
"Thank you so much" The woman exclaimed to Bathound, Bathound said thank you but since she didn't have a device to decrypt what he was saying, all she heard was a bark in response. The woman ran away. Bathound waiting around for the police to arrive since the Batarang radios in the police department when it shocks the victim, The Great Dane saw a shadow over him, Bathound looked up to see it was Superdog just arriving.
"Need help?"
"I'm fine, just waiting for the Cops to get here" Bathound said as he decided to climb on the fire escape of an apartment complex for a better vantage point, Krypto just flew up to the same level as him.
"You know I can just bring him to the Police station for you" The white Labrador stated, Bathound looked at him in a way, Bathound knew that would be way easier, but just like his partner, he didn't want to become to dependent on someone.
"Its fine, you don't have to" Bathound said while looking from the building and seeing the police arrive. The officers picked up the man and put him in the back of the squad car.
"By the way, what was up with you back at the spaceship?" Krypto asked, Bathound looked wide eyed, he knew exactly why. He didn't even want to come close to those feelings he felt when he came into contact with her.
"I had to go somewhere, busy" Bathound stated to Krypto, Unfortunately, Bathound didn't sound confident when he said that, which lead Krypto to believe he was lying to him. The superdog tilted his head in confusion as the The Great Dane refused to even look at him in embarrassment.
"I have to go, I will see you in later" Bathound said as he was getting ready to leave.
"Alligator" Replied with a smirk back at the Dark Hound, The Great Dane just looked over his shoulder to look back at the Labrador, he just squinted down his eyes at him and leapt from the building. Krypto ran over to side to see if he was okay, but when he looked down, he was gone. Around this time, Streaky came flying into view with an opened can of tuna.
"Sorry, I was late, someone threw this away, can you believe it?" Streaky uttered with a face full of tuna.
Bathound arrived at Wayne Manor, there was usually a backdoor for him to secretly enter, but he didn't care. He didn't care who saw him go inside the Mansion. He just walked on past the front gate and climbed up onto a balcony. He pulled one of his gadgets to open the door, he was successful as the clear glass door opened. He walked into the see everything was all quite, just like how he remembered it. He walked past a few room and saw Bruce Wayne reading a book inside a private library he had with the fireplace glowing. The Millionaire just looked at his dog and smiled.
"Back so soon?" He asked.
Bathound barked in response and kept on walking past other rooms, Alfred cleaning and Robin playing video games. He eventually reached a living room, yes A living room, there was more than one in the luxurious mansion. Bathound rested on a leather coach and tried to relax, knowing his duties were over for the day. But he couldn't stop think of HER, Why was she so important him, He always felt this warmness in his heart when he was even some what close to him. Of course he didn't, have feelings for her, did her?
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!" Bathound shouted in his mind
Mammoth Mutt was in her room, just trying to take a nap when she heard a knock on her door, Who could it be knocking on her door, almost everyone on the ship knew not to wake up Mammoth Mutt when she was sleeping. The pink chihuahua sighed and got up from her bed, she opened the door to see a familiar looking Purple Afghan, she had the face of nervousness and worry.
"Brainy, Is something wrong?" Mammoth Mutt asked to the leader. When she looked at her, she didn't look like the leader she knew. She seemed lost and unsure.
"Mammoth Mutt, I need to ask you something...In private" Brainy Barker said, scratching the back of her head in anxiety.
"Well everyone else is either eating or asleep, so I think we're good to talk" Mammoth Mutt stated, Brainy Barker looked down the hallway, left and right to see if anyone was listening, there was no one. She didn't want to take chances, so she just leapt over Mammoth Mutt and into her room. This took the pink chihuahua off guard as the Afghan just jumped over her with no warning or provocation. Mammoth Mutt shut the door and went up to her Friend.
"Okay, we're alone, What do you want to ask me?" Brainy seemed to blush as she was to afraid to admit it.
"I have a crush on someone and I don't know how to express it to him" Brainy explained while displaying a large pink blush across her face. Mammoth Mutt looked over joyed knowing she had a crush.
"Please don't tell anyone" Brainy pleaded to her, Of course Mammoth Mutt wasn't going to tell anyone, they are too good of friends to do that, being the only two girls on the team brought new friendships.
"How did you and Tuskey Husky confess to each other?" Brainy asked, Mammoth Mutt and Tuskey Husky were indeed together.
"Well, Tuskey Husky confessed to me, so maybe you can confess to him instead" Mammoth Mutt explained, it seemed like an alright plan to her, but not Brainy. The Purple Afghan leader was too scared. He didn't want to dissolve the relationship between her and Bathound, she didn't want to make it awkward every time they saw each other in case he rejected her feelings.
"But what If he doesn't like" Brainy almost shouted until shutting herself up in case one of the others heard her.
"But who is he?, Krypto?" She didn't even know who she liked, Mammoth Mutt suggested it might be Krypto. Brainy rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment again and she shook her head.
"N-no, its...Bathound"
