"Bathound?!, Him?, As in 'no powers' Bathound?" Mammoth Mutt was confused by the confession from the Purple Afghan. Brainy Barker rubbed the back of head in embarrassment. One voice in her head told her that Bathound was the one and the other told her to go for it. At this point, she couldn't even trust her own thoughts.

"Y-Yeah, I need your help, I know that I love him, but does he love me?" Brainy said on the verge of going insane from her own thoughts, Mammoth Mutt didn't know how to respond to this, as she didn't bother to dig into both of the their lives.

"Well, I really don't know, Maybe spend some time with him to see"

"But if I do that he may suspect something, I mean, He is an amazing detective, and smart, and strong,and handso-" Brainy started to drift of describing the Great Dane, Her eyes spike up and so came images of her and Bathound together. Fortunately, Mammoth Mutt was there to some what assist her.
"BRAINY!"

"Oh, sorry"Brainy apologized with her cheeks turning pink, Mammoth Mutt rubbed the her head since she was still tired.

"Hmm...Maybe just to visit, but not in case of a mission" The pink chihuahua exclaimed to her friend, she had a plan.

"Alright, I have a plan" Mammoth Mutt said as she began to explain it, Brainy was excited, this may finally be it, she may finally be with him.

Bathound tossed and tuned in his bed, he couldn't sleep with all of this running through his bed, He would think of himself with Brainy but then snap himself out of it. He couldn't take it anymore, his eyes shot open and he stood up. He got out of bed and started to wander around the mansion, He would just look out the window and into space. Thinking that the Dog Star Patrol could be doing something different, little did he know, he was about to find out.

"Hey Ace"

"Krypto, you aren't suppose to be here" Bathound was caught off guard as he saw the superdog hovering above the window on the outside of the mansion.

"Sorry Ace, just got a call from the Dog Stars, they need us" Krypto stated, Ace turned his glance from the white Labrador and onto the stars.

"Alright, I'll meet you there"

Both the Great Dane and Labrador reached the airlock of the Dog Star's ship, They took off their space suits except for Bathound since he thought he wasn't going to be staying long and headed into the center of the ship. Upon reach into the room, Ace and Krypto saw all the Dog Stars in the main room. Tuskey Huskey and Mammoth Mutt stood together as they were together, Brainy had her place on the control station where she usually stood. Everyone else, Tail Terrier, Bulldog, Hotdog and Paw Pooch all stood awaiting what to do, they were also not informed of the plan composed by Brainy and Mammoth Mutt.

"Thanks you for coming Bathound" Brainy stated, trying so hard to fight off her blush, she didn't want to make this seem weird to both of them.

"Glad we could make it, Whats the emergency?" Krypto asked.

"There seems to be a distress signal coming from an unknown planet in another Solar system, and since Mechanikat is still on the loose and what happened last time, we cant take any changes" Brainy exclaimed to the rest, she was referring to the time Snooky and Mechanikat turned the Dog Stars in pups, since they were so careless this time, she wanted to make sure no stone was unturned for their safety, or so that's what she wanted them to believe.

"So whats the plan?" Paw Pooch asked to the Purple Afghan.

"The signal doesn't give exactly where it is, so we split into groups to try find who is calling us, its a dwarf planet, so it shouldn't be as hard" Brainy explained.

"Mammoth Mutt, Tuskey Huskey and Krypto, You will be the first team"

"Tail Terrier, Bulldog and Paw Pooch, you're the second"

"And Bathound...hmmm" Brainy pretended to think of who to pair the Dark Hound with, Bathound was estimated that with everyone paired, that only left him and-

"How us, Lets pair up" The Purple Afghan exclaimed, Ace's heart sunk, he wasn't sure of any feeling between them and being close to her made him feel weak. Bathound started to shake slightly, not too noticeably.

"You okay Bathound?" Krypto turned his head and asked to the Great Dane.

"Y-Yeah, I'm just cold, that's all" Ace replied while looking away from the while Labrador.

"Okay then, we're just a couple minutes away from the planet, everyone get ready" Brainy stated, With that everyone awaited for the reach the planet, Mammoth Mutt left Tuskey Huskey's side and up to Brainy Barker.

"Alright, first phase is done, next step, you two will be alone and you'll finally confess to him"

"Sounds like an alright plan" Brainy commented to the pink chihuahua.

"Yeah, simple, What could go wrong?"

Mechanikat was seen slouching in his chair and taking nap, there wasn't a peep in the room apart from his usual purring sound. There were also open cans of tuna lay next to the chair.

"Mechanikat, I have good news!" Snooky raced into the room with his usual squeaky voice, Mechanikat shot up from his chair and held a not so friendly welcoming face.

"Snooky, I'm taking my nap!"

"But your humbleness, The Dog Stars are within range, we could take them out now" Snooky exclaimed while pointing out into space. The Dog Stars ship had flew in Mechanikat's missile range.

"Ooo, well thats you had to say, shoot them down!" Mechanikat yelled in assumed victory, he would finally get rid of them

"Yes sir" Snooky pulled out a remote and press a red button on it, On the side of ship out came a few space missiles that flew out to the red fire hydrant shaped ship.

"Alright, preparing to-" Brainy started to the rest of team as suddenly, the unimaginable happened. The entire ship shook violently and lights went out. The violent shaking of the ship caused many to fall down on to the ground.

"What happened?!" Krypto asked to the Brainy Barker. The Telepath tried looking at screen on his station to see the ship had suffered a massive blown on its sides and was going to break. She started to freak out and worry.

"Everyone, get your space suits, we have to evacuate!" With those words, all of them rushed to put on their suits. Bathound already had his own on so he helped others put theirs on too. Unfortunately, the ship's hull tore and objects began to fly out with air all being sucked out as well.

Brainy Barker got her space suit on just in time, as the force was too strong and she was sucked out of the ship into space.

"BRAINY!" Krypto shouted as he tried to go for her, Flying up to the crack in the side of wall and trying to get to her, but it was too late. She was already falling down the planet, Bathound rushed into action and leapt out the hole in the ship after her. Krypto jumped out after him.

The rest of team scrambled to prepare themselves as the ship was being torn apart and while falling down to the unknown planet.

"HAHA" Both Mechanikat and Snooky laughed in unison, they believe they had finally done it. This as short lived until seeing some other Dog Stars leap from the ship and fall back to the planet that had a seemingly purple landscape.

"Knowing those mutts, they probably survived, send Cat bots after them" Mechanikat order to the blue feline, Snooky saluted back and ran off. The robotic cat just stared out at the Dog Stars ship, falling back to the planet.
