Brainy carefully but haste fully crawling through the vent, frantically looking for Krypto before any harm would be done to him. The Metallic Vents creaked and squealed like a moues as Brainy continued to keep pushing forward through, until she slipped on a vent below her on her paws, making it open and causing gravity to do its works. She fell down the floor to see all the other dog Stars in Cages except Krypto the Superdog. She wasted no time and began to get them open and free once again.
"Brainy, Thank goodness you're-" Hotdog said in his crackled voice until being cut off by Brainy.
"Shhhh...Be quiet, I'll get you out" She said already working on the control panels to see if there was some way she could override them.
Bathound, just like Brainy Barker, also made it stealthy around the Spaceship and found Krypto in a dark room being blasted over and over again by what Ace assumed to be a Kryptonite Ray gun. Krypto was huddled in the corner twitching from pain as Mechanikat kept blasting him over and over again without mercy.
"I will see to it your death is quick, super mutt" He said blasting him again. Ace could clearly see that life was being sucked out Krypto, and so he jumped into action and glided down and pouncing at Mechanikat, knocking him over into the wall, causing him to drop his Kryptonite gun. Making Krypto look up in confusion from the sudden stop of pain. Only to see Bathound reach out his paw to help him up.
"C'mon Krypto, We need to get out of here, Brainy probably already has the others and ready to go" Bathound taped Krypto on his side for him to get up quickly, but he could barely move and if he could, His body would retaliate with a catastrophic bout of pain. "A-Ace, I cant-"
"Yes you can, Move fast, push through the pain!" Bathound shouted like a drill sargent to a private, Krypto couldn't argue as this was no time do so considering Mechanikat could get back on his feet and continue to lay waste to both of them. Bathound upholstered his exploding batarangs and threw them at the door, making them ignite and blow off the metal door. When the smoke cleared both the Great Dane and White Labrador ran outside, with Krypto lagging behind a little bit.
As soon as they got out into the Halls, A Loud Blaring sound echoed all around the entire Spaceship, It was obvious it was an alarm and someone had set it off. While running down the Hall way, Bathound surprised to see Brainy Baker and the other Dog Stars coming toward him and Krypto.
"Bathound, I spotted escape pods while we were running here, C'mon"
"But Snooky must have turn on the Forcefield by now, We can't leave unless we turn it off" Paw Pooch said, only for Krypto to step up.
"I-I'll destroy the power core for y-you guys can go"
"Krypto, If you do that, The Entire Ship is will certainly explode from the over power" Brainy protested the idea of Krypto dying in his weaken, maybe if he was fully recovered he could survive, but that was out of talk. "Krypto, I'm not letting you Die" Bathound stepped in.
"Don't worry about us, But I'll need help getting to the power core" Krypto said already limping his way to the Power Room. Bathound followed along. "Both of you, Be safe please" She pleaded to Ace. Ace responded by smirking and running off with Krypto.
Moments Later...
Krypto and Bathound ran into a Large Room with a Giant Glowing Tube extending from the ceiling to the floor and circulating in its glorious power. "Here it is" Krypto muttered before using the last bit of strength he had to flying up to the top and used his heat vision to melt down the core.
"Hurry up Krypto, So we can get out of here"
"No Bathound, So You can get out here with Brainy" Krypto corrected.
"Wha-You're...You're not coming with us?"
"No Ace, I know you're with Brainy now, And I want to you have that chance with her, So I offer my life for you to be with her"
"Krypto...I...I" Bathound could barely find the words before sudden the Core was begin to get unstable and crack down from the heat and power.
"ITS GOING TO GO OFF, BATHOUND GO, NOW!" Krypto shouted, Bathound didn't have time to argue so he quickly ran out of the facility like room and out to Brainy and the rest of the Dog Stars to escape.
"Good luck Bathound...Good Luck" Krypto muttered softly as the heat from the core was getting hotter and hotter and at any moment it was about the blow up.
"And then what happened Daddy?" A small pup with dark purple and Grey fur looked up to Bathound with excitement, Bathound smirked at his son's excitement.
"Well...I ran through the spaceship and when I got to your mother...BOOM!" He exclaimed picking up his pup son and shaking him with exaggeration. His pup laughing with Ace smiling as well, before a Purple Afghan had walked in with her long purple hair knotted in a small bun.
"Honey, Can you not excite Marion up so much, I just put the other pups to bed" Brainy asked to her mate Bathound, Ace relented and pick up his pup. "Can you tell me another story tomorrow Daddy?" He asked as he yawned out.
"Wish I could, But I have to go meet with Aunty Mammoth Mutt tomorrow morning, Alfred will look after you and your brothers and sisters when I get back" Bathound replied.
"When can I go with you?"
"When you're old enough" He said reach into a small room putting his pup into a bed already filled with 6 other slumbering puppies.
"Good Night Marion"
"Good Night Mommy and Daddy" He said, getting a small kiss on his forehead from Brainy and Bathound. When all 7 pups were asleep, Bathound and Brainy walked out onto a Balcony of Wayne Manor and started to look into the night sky.
"I love you so much Brainy"
"I love you too Ace" Both of them rested their heads on each other, falling asleep in bliss and enjoying each others warmth. "Thank you Krypto, Thank you" Bathound said in his mind.
