"And so I said you just broke my best set of China! China? Get it?" Ling asks as he laughs while sitting on the cart with Alexis and Yao.
"Yes.. Very funny Ling." Alexis says as she covers her mouth with a fan.
"Since when did you begin carrying a fan around?" Ling asks as he sees Alexis holding a light blue fan with gold lining.
"Oh.. It belong to my mother. It was with her wedding dress. I carry it a lot now when I am heading anywhere that's not into town. But yes very good joke." Alexis says as she smiles nervously.
"Did you see the way she looked at me?" Yao asks dreamily.
"You mean with disgust?" Ling asks as he and Chien-Po laugh.
"Rude you two." Alexis says as she glares at Chien-Po and Ling.
"Our eyes met and we shared a cosmic moment." Yao says.
"Oh. Just like when I look at potted pig's knuckles." Chien-Po says.
"It's love I tell you! Love..." Yao says dreamily.
"Love shmove. It doesn't matter. We're on a mission. No fraternizing with the princesses." Ling says.
"Engaged-to-be-married princesses." Chien-Po says.
"Oh yeah." Yao says disappointedly as Alexis looks at him.
"Maybe if things had been different Yao but we have a mission to complete... Even if that mission seems unfair." Alexis says as Ling looks at her.
"Whoa!" Shang says as the group stops and starts taking a break to let the horses drink some water. As Alexis is sitting by the water brushing her hair out she then feels someone touch her shoulder startling her as she nearly falls into the water.
"Oh sorry. I hadn't mean to scare you." Ling says as he grabs Alexis by the wrist and pulls her away from the water.
"It's okay. Least you caught me though." Alexis says as she puts her hair up in a ponytail.
"Why wouldn't I? A girl like you is too pretty to get drenched in water like that." Ling says as Alexis smiles while fanning herself with her fan.
"Pretty?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Well yeah. Besides I could always come running at sound sound of a bell giving a ting-a-ling if you needed me! Oh come on Alexis! Don't let a fellow guard down! Get it?" Ling asks as he laughs while Alexis tries to cover her face with her fan.
"Uh yes. Yes, yes." Alexis says nervously.
"You know I've got some blue blood myself. Many have called me royal pain!" Ling shout as he laughs.
"I gotta go." Alexis says quickly as she runs off and over to Mulan while avoiding eye contact with Ling.
"Let's get back on the road!" Shang shouts.
