Tohru was worried. She had never seen a storm this bad before. The rain was pouring down without mercy,anyone who dared to go out would be completely drenched and then some, the windows shook every time lightning struck the ground and the wind was so strong several trees were knocked down. She was worried about Kyo. She knew how he gets when it rained, would it feel worse with it storming this bad. She started to check to see how he was doing before Hana and Arisa nearly made her jump out of her seat.
"Oh... you scared me". She giggled. She didn't realize how lost in her thoughts she must of been. "Oh my God. We didn't mean to scare our precious 're sorry". Tohru smiled happily when they engulfed her in a group hug. "It's alright".She sat there for awhile before letting her go. "I was wondering". Hana began looking over to Kyo who had his head laid down on the desk. "His waves are concerning".
Tohru frowned looking over to Kyo. "He seems very unlike himself today. Is he alright?". Hana asked. It is true Kyo hasn't at all been himself today even before it started to storm. She assumed it was because he knew what was coming, which was why he slept in and refused to eat breakfast but it still concerned her either way. He was quiet and pale.
"Dont worry Im sure the orange top is fine. Probably didn't get enough sleep last night". Arisa responded. "We should play some board games to pass the time. I found some in one of the janitors closets the other day". Tohru's face brightened up. "That sounds like so much fun. I'll ask the others and see if they wanna join too". She jumped out of her seat with a big smile on her face and headed towards where Yuki was talking to a bunch of girls in the hallway.
She wanted to ask Kyo but she knew he probably wanted to rest. Yuki smiled and agreed to join so did Momjii and Haru. "I'm so happy you all agreed to play". She said smiling brightly. "Is Kyo joining too". Momjii asked, bouncing around the group in search for the orange haired cat zodiac. It was only a moment but Yuki saw her face change. She was sad but of course she wouldn't let it show to any of them.
She wanted Kyo to join them but she didn't want to disturb him, not when he was probably suffering right now. "No...". Before she could finish her sentence Yuki grabbed her hand and stormed off. "Don't worry Ms. Honda he'll definitely be joining us too". This was the last thing he wanted but if it meant making Tohru happy then he was gonna force that damn cat to join, tired or not.
Back in the classroom. "Come on Kyon-Kyon, what's wrong?". "Yeah dude cuz you look sick". Kyo grunted too tired to respond back and laid his head back down on the desk.' Why can't they just leave me alone'. Everyone in the classroom stared at Kyo with worried expressions. The teacher had noticed earlier during class that he looked unwell and tried waking him up to send him to the nurse but he refused.
Yuki walked into the classroom Tohru close behind and stormed gracefully towards Kyo. "Wake up dumb cat". Yuki shook Kyo's shoulder. Kyo groaned, lifting his head slowly. "Go away". He muttered. He was far too tired to deal with the damn rat right now. "Ms. Honda wants you to play board games with us so come on". Yuki said calmly, reaching out to drag Kyo up by the arms. Kyo flinched away. "Tired". "I don't care". Kyo groaned before getting up slowly. He looked to Tohru who to no surprise to him had that usual dumb look on her face.
"Let's go".Kyo said moving away from Yuki who stood momentarily shocked that Kyo didn't argue or try to start a fight. It made sense because of this storm but it still felt wrong. He glanced outside starting to feel concerned for his cousin. "Yuki? Are you coming?". Tohru asked. Yuki turned around and nodded. 'Why am I concerned about that damn cat'.
Kyo leaned against the wall watching with lidded eyes as Arisa and Hana returned to the empty classroom with a bunch of board games. "Let's get this party started". Arisa shouted. Tohru smiled clasping her hands together. "This is gonna be so fun". Momojii jumped in the air excitement all over his face. "I've never played any board games before, I can't wait". Haru pumped his fist a bored expression on his face.
"Kyo come over and play". Momojii said running towards him. He tried to pull him up but the older sohma was much too heavy for him. "Let me go".Kyo said without his usual annoyed tone. "Oh we can just move over there with Kyo". Tohru said grabbing one of the board games and moving towards where Kyo was slumped against the wall.
Kyo smiled as she sat down beside him. "Are you sure you're okay to play?". Kyo only nodded pushing himself up into a sitting position away from the wall. "I'm gonna beat you, you damn rat". Yuki snickered looking away. "I'll beat all of you". Haru yelled. 'Great black Haru is out'. Both Kyo and Yuki thought.
For the meantime Kyo felt okay albeit really tired but he didn't feel sick until they started playing a second game of monopoly. It struck him was just about to roll but suddenly his hands began to shake and he dropped the dice. He had to squeeze his eyes shut as the lights suddenly became too bright, his head pounded painfully against his skull. "You gonna move your piece or what?". Haru asked. "If you don't I'll move it for you". Momojii said, moving over the board to grab Kyo's piece. "Hey little brat don't knock my piece over" Arisa shouted.
Yuki signed as Momojii and Arisa argued. "Kyo?". Tohru asked, noticing his obvious discomfort. All eyes turned towards the orange haired teen when he didn't reply. "Answer when Ms Honda is speaking to you, stupid cat".
He could hear voices but his head hurt too much to comprehend what they were saying. Everything hurt. He groaned leaning his head back against the wall. He was so tired. "Kyo?". Yuki asked, getting concerned at the cat's odd behavior. He started to move towards the other but froze when Kyo started to breath heavily his eyes squeezed shut. "Kyo what's wrong?". Tohru asked her hands hovering over him unsure of what to do. "His waves are weak". Hana said her voice dry. "What?". Arisa moving to action Haru stood up.
"We should take him to the nurses office" He moved towards Kyo and grabbed him bridle style out of the room. Tohru and Yuki following close behind. By the time they got to the nurses office Kyo was sweating and groaning in pain. Haru slammed the door open and laid him down on one of the beds. "Where's the nurse?". Tohru asked. "I don't know but we need to get in contact with Hatori". Yuki responded. The two nodded. "I'll distract the others". Haru said walking out the door before anyone could respond. 'Great'. He looked over to the bed frowning. 'He's never been this bad before'.
"Yuki?... is Kyo gonna be alright?". Tohru asked worriedly. "Don't worry the dumb cat will be fine".
