Author's Note
I'm sorry for the short chapters, but I promise I do at some point make them longer, when you askā¦.I'm not sure. I'm not the best writer so sorry if there's any questionable parts or if it seems choppy. I write whatever comes to mind at that very moment and work my way through the story that the way I have like maybe six more chapters to post today.
Hatori signed before taking his glasses off. "What are you doing?". Hatori turned around startled to see Shigure standing in the doorway with an umbrella in his hands. He glared at him placing his reading glasses down and turning around in his seat to face the other. "How did you get here?". Hatori asked curiously. "I drove". Shigure responded back with an annoying smirk. "How else would one get from one place to another?". Hatori signed. "No ones allowed out in this weather. You could have gotten seriously hurt". Hatori immediately regretted those words the minute they came out of his mouth. "Oh my Hatori. I didn't realize just how much you care. I'm honored". Shigure teased walking further into the room. "If you're here I'm guessing you didn't bother to pick Tohru and the others up from school?". Hatori asked, turning back around and ignoring the others' comments . He knew how the cat zodiac reacted to the rain. He just hopes that Kyo hasn't transformed but telling how bad the storm has been he knew better.
Shigure eyes widened. "Oh seems I have forgotten all about them in my rush to get out of the house". He laughed. 'That doesn't surprise me'. "It's too bad my car ran out of gas on the way here". Shigure added looking crestfallen. Hatori signed. "Come on. I'll drive. I need to check on Yuki And Kyo anyway". Shigure raised his eyebrows. "I understand Yuki but why Kyo?". Shigure asked, rubbing his chin. "It's been storming for several weeks now. I have a feeling this weather has affected him more severely than normal".Hatori responded grabbing his keys,a coat and his umbrella before leading Shigure out to his was too much in a hurry to be bothered to let Akito know he would be leaving.
