Chapter 4

Okay so this was my first time trying to kill a Grimm goddess, but I was pretty sure though that I wasn't on whatever this train was. Nor was I in whatever building that appeared to surround the train when I was going for the final blow.

Somehow I went from fighting on the top of a giant Grimm whale to trying to stand up on a speeding train. That seems to be surrounded by shocks, bangs, and rumbles. Across from me, I could see my opponent trying to stand as well. But she seemed weak as if she, wasn't used to using her legs.

Grabbing onto Crescent Rose, which I was relieved to find was still with me. I manage to push myself to my feet using the end of my weapon as a cane.

"What, have you done girl?" Salem said in cold fury as she too managed to get to her feet. Before I could retort, or respond to the witch, I heard faint clanking over the roar of the train coming rapidly from my left. Along the sound of lasers hitting something and bouncing off. I turned to see a man in tan robes, running our way holding a glowing stick.

Behind him were three tan robot-looking bipeds. One was much larger than the other two, and was able to follow after the man as he jumped from an opening in the wall landing in between Salem and I. Large robot landed on a few cars to the back.

Standing up the man came to a halt upon seeing the two of us.

"And who the blazes are you two?" He said in a calm, almost tired manor.

"Who am I, you do not ask the question her you lowly human," Salem said in anger, having a harder time keeping her voice in the control she was speaking with. It was the last thing she said though as a random bolt of red light came flying through the air. Burning right through her chest, she didn't make another sound as she fell to the floor. Never to rise again.

More of the red bolts came flying but not close enough to me to worry. There were trained on the man, however, but were deflected by his glowing stick.

The air was filled with the smell of her burning flesh, locking me into staring at her in shock. She was killed, by a shot to the chest, something so simple that it must have been done to her a million times in her long life. Only to be the thing that killed her.

I felt a small bit of pity, not a lot and it only went as far as to how she died not that she died. I couldn't find a reason to think that she should have lived.

It was then that the large robot dropped in front of me with two glowing sticks. Though he was wielding them like swords so I suppose that was what they were. Being again completely ignored as the robot went straight for the men. Locking glowing swords, forgetting all about me. I didn't know what was going on, where was I? Who were these two, what just hit Salem?

I watched the fight continue the man seeming running circles around the large clanker. He was then kicked to the front of the train, landing on his back. His opponent raising his two swords above his head to come down on his pinned target.

I didn't even realize I had raised Crescent Rose or fired a shot, till it hit the robot hard in the back of the head. Not killing it, but making it fall forward where the man on the ground used his feet to throw the hunk of metal off the front of the train. The man though was no clinging to the front of the train, having thrown too much power into the technique.

Using my semblance I ruched forward grabbing him in my petals. Taking off the front end of the train and landing on to a train that was below us. By Oum, how many trains were there?

Setting the man down he rolled to his hands and knees trying to rid himself of the dizziness caused by my semblance. I folded my weapon before kneeling by his side. I rested my hand on his back trying to comfort him.

"As much as I appreciate the help never do that again. Whatever that was." He said having calmed down, turning to look at me. "Sorry about your friend, I didn't hear the blasters in time."

"Don't worry about she wasn't a friend," I said smiling nervously, he just nodded in understanding.

"Well, I think some introductions are in order. We will have to make it quick though. We need to make it off this ship." He said standing up, I just nodded. It wasn't like I had another plan, I still didn't know where I was and he was at least not trying to kill me.

"My name is Ruby Rose," I said holding out my hand. "Also I don't mean to sound rude but what ship aren't we in a building?"

"Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight. We are in fact on the Separatist ship the Malevolence, which is about to be blown to pieces," he said walking up to a panel on the train car. He typed in something in making the train come to a stop.

Luck was not on our side though, when we stopped we came face to face with more robots. There was about twenty of them varying in size and design. There were two large gray ones while the rest were tan and smaller. I heard the one in the front start to say something before it was slashed in half by Obi-Wan. He then started to deflect the red beams as he started to cut his way through.

Drawing Crescent Rose, I shot forward dodging the beams spinning and tearing through them as well. A large grey one with a large gun arm stepped behind me as I stopped spinning. I used my semblance to appear behind it with Crescent Rose in her rifle form. Shooting the robot point-blank in the back, tearing a large hole through its chest.

There were two more, but they were handled by Obi-Wan, with the obstacle cleared I followed him as he ran down the corridor. I came even with him easily, as we came around a corner.

"Where did you learn to fight like that, also what was with the petals?" I heard him call to me as we ran down the corridor. Slashing any pour robot we passed.

"I will tell you when we are no longer trying to be killed," I yelled back as shot another robot's head.

"Good idea young lady, hopefully, that won't take much longer," he responded using something to push a new type of robot making it curl up and roll backward into the small tan one. He must have a telekinetic semblance.

Finally, we turned a corner to see two more people a man and woman, a golden man, and a blue and white trash can on wheels entering a hatch.

"Hold the ship!" I heard Obi-Wan yell ahead at them. I could hear more robots behind us. Yelling sorry to my new friend I before grabbed him in my semblance shoot us through the hatch. We both landed in a small room on the floor as the door closed. Obi-Wan once again trying to balance himself.

The man from the ran to what looked like a steering wheel. He told the trash can, what I could now see as another type of robot, a few commands and I suddenly felt the room we were in lurch sideways. Before moving forward, standing up I looked forward to see a window. Covered in stars, with an unbelievably large ship. A hundred times bigger than anything atlas had, on fire above an even bigger floating sphere of stone.

We were in space.

We were also being shot at.

I could feel the room shift around like crazy, as large red beams flew past only a couple finding their mark.

"Time for some clever tricks Anakin." I heard Obi-Wan say from the co-pilot's seat.

"Was just think that," Anakin smirked, before sending the room into a spin. He dodged more shots, but took a couple more. "You know we have guns you could.."

"I was just.."

"I got it."

The three people argued ending with the woman pulling a screen down from the ceiling. Turning it in a circle pressing a trigger on the screen's handle. Causing the ship the push a little from the right.

"She seems to know her way around" Obi-Wan commented from his seat. I let the world tune out as I sat there on the floor only moving to prop my back against the wall. Eguastion had decided to hit me right then and there, my body knowing that threat was over. On top of that, my mind was running a mile a second with everything going on.

I was in space, I was in another battle, Salem was dead, and I had just run through what looked like from the outside a floating fortress. I was now traveling with three strangers, Obi-Wan had a glowing sword, the world is getting dark.

I could no longer think and my eyes could no longer stay open. So there leaned up against a wall, my body and mind won and I fell asleep.

Hopefully, everything would turn out fine.
