Pokemon Lyric Collection: Gens 2-6 plus Anime

Another collection of Pokemon-based lyrics, this time moving beyond the original generation of games to encompass the wider franchise. As before, new songs will be added at regular intervals until the collection is marked as 'Complete'.

4. 4 - Route 42 & Lake of Rage (GSC)

STORY/ SCENARIO: Abandoned in his hour of need, a man rages at the fickleness of human sympathy.

VARIATIONS: I have altered the rhythm in bars 8-9 of the main melody (Thirsting for rest) to match the rhythm in bars 6-7: i.e. a crotchet triplet followed by a minim - notes G, F, E-flat, B-flat - and then a bar rest. I have also changed the rhythm in bars 12-13 (world unguessed!) to dotted minim, crotchet, semibreve, notes G, F, E-flat.
