Loki was getting angry and his frost giant side was starting to come out. Tony was now starting to get nervous, Loki's frost giant side had never fully taken over so they were unsure of how to handle it.
"The apartment isn't safe anymore." Tony was able to blurt out before Loki fully attacked.

"What do you mean it isn't safe anymore? I would never let Paloma stay somewhere she wouldn't be safe."

"It's Paloma herself. Her research is too advanced. World leaders are going to want her knowledge and not all of them have honest intentions." Tony may have gone too far with this but it was the only way he could get Paloma here without it looking odd to the other nations. "If she were to start working for me, Stark Industries, she could live in the tower. She'd be safe. Her research would be safe and we'd be able to use it as well." Maybe Tony's intentions weren't as selfless as he tried to make it seem but it was true, Paloma would be safe and Loki wouldn't have to spend so much time away from her.

"Did you offer her a job? Paloma really loves working with her patients. I don't know if she'd leave it so willingly." Loki knew it was the best decision but Paloma was stubborn and dedicated to her job. He couldn't just tell her to leave her job and stay under 24/7 protection. Ηe couldn't trap her like that. Paloma needed to see this was a good idea and still feel like she had her freedoms.

Paloma looked over the crowd of people around her, eager to meet the Doctor and her eyes met Lokis. In his eyes she saw nervousness, maybe even fear. This wasn't a look she had ever seen in him. Loki isn't afraid of anything. She gave him a concerned look and he just shook out of it and smiled at her, she gave a smile back and returned her attention to the crowd around her.

Once the dust had settled and she was able to give her presentation, Paloma was convinced that this was the best presentation she had ever given and this would solidify funding for the hospital. You could see the pride beaming from her smile.
Loki met her at the side of the stage to help her down the 3 steps, she didn't need it but we all know Loki is a gentleman. Hand held out and a welcoming smile on his face, Paloma fell in love all over again. She wrapped her arm around his as they made their way through the building.
"So Stark wanted me to stay overnight and help out with a few things. Would you like to stay with me?" Paloma couldn't help but smile. This is all she wanted, to not be a secret, to know his friends and family.
"I'd love nothing more." She said while gently bumping into his side and giving his arm a squeeze.
Loki led her to an elevator, "I'll show you to my room then." A smirk appeared on his face and Paloma knew exactly what he was thinking. It was almost like she could read his mind because he saw that blush spread across her face and could feel her heart start to race. 'Time for some fun.' he thought to himself.

The elevator opened and the pair walked in.
Loki held Paloma's hand as the doors shut in front of them. Once it was just them in the elevator Loki turned to Paloma, tucking her hair behind her ear and resting his hand on her face, "You did wonderfully my love. I'm sorry it took so long for you to finally get here. Paloma rested her head in her lovers hand and closed her eyes for a moment. "You had your reasons, I'm just glad I'm here now." Without hesitation Loki kissed Paloma, holding her face in his hand and moving his other to her lower back. Pulling her in, taking in all of her, the way she smelled, the softness of her skin in his hands, the way she tasted on his tongue. Paloma had her hands on his waist pulling him in as well as if they could be closer. Loki's hand moved from face to her hair, tangling his fingers in her curls. This sign of dominance was something that drove Paloma crazy. She was in charge of almost every aspect of her life and it was nice to not have to make decisions in one part. A soft moan escaped her lips and they both knew what was going to happen as soon as they reached his room.

A ding sound broke the couple out of their trance and separated their kiss. An awkward agent stood at the door...afraid of what to say in case it made Loki angry. Instead Loki adjusted his shoulders, took Paloma by the hand, and without making any eye contact with the agent, left the elevator.

After passing a handful of doors they make it to Loki's room, which is at the end of the hallway. "Stark put me farthest away from everyone, afraid I would cause a scene if an agent looked at me the wrong way. Looks like being so far from everyone has its benefits." Loki smirked without looking down at the small Doctor.
"What do you mean by that?" Paloma had a feeling she knew what he was going to say but needed to ask anyway.
Loki got close and whispered in her ear, his breath on her neck turned her on more than she would like to admit, "So when I make you scream my name, no one will hear."
