"Alright! Let's make some fudge," Sarah shouts out as she pumps her hands up in the air in excitement.

"Hold on Sarah, we need to wait for Ginny and Hermione to arrive."

"Aw, come on Ana! We can make a batch while we wait for them to arrive," Sarah says as she looks over at her girlfriend.

"No. Anyways, I need to run out and get something. Don't do anything until I get back," Ana says as she glares at Sarah.

Sarah gives her an innocent smile. Ana sighs as her glare softens slightly.

"Sarah, we both know you can literally burn anything. So please wait until I get back."

"Fine. Just make it quick."

"I'll be back in 5 minutes," Ana says as she walks out of their apartment.

Sarah hears the door shut behind Ana. Sarah then realizes that she's home, alone. She looks around as she tries to figure out what she can do while Ana is away. Her stomach then grumbles, and Sarah realizes that -in her excitement- she hasn't had any lunch yet.

"Well…Ana never said that I couldn't heat up some lunch. So I guess that it'll be fine! How hard can it be?"

"Ana is so going to kill me," Sarah mutters.

Why does this happen to her? All she was trying to do was heat up leftovers. Yet now she's trying to figure out how the microwave caught fire. And how to put it out before Ana gets home.

"What. The. Hell?! I was gone for literally 5 minutes! What did you manage to burn this time?!"

Sarah jumps and yelps in surprise as she turns around to see Ana standing there. Behind her stood Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger, both of them are trying to hide their giggles. Sarah stutters as she tries to explain what happened, something that she's having a hard time doing. Damn her and her inability to cook anything.

Ana sighs as she paces the bags down on the counter. She then walks over to where she keeps the mini fire extinguisher. She grabs it and proceeds to put the microwave out of its misery.

"Goddammit! Sarah, when will you learn that you and the kitchen appliances will never see eye-to-eye?"

"...sorry..."

Ana sighs as she successfully puts the fire out. She doesn't understand why this always happens when Sarah tries to do anything in the kitchen. They should just be lucky that the fridge hasn't caught on fire...yet.

Trying to encourage her friend, Hermione said. "It's okay, Ron is just as bad in the kitchen, he can burn toast if I don't watch him." This cheers Sarah up a bit before her girlfriend adds.

"Alright! Now that that is taken care of, let's make some fudge. All in agreement?" Ana asks as she turns towards her friends.

"Yes! So, what do we need to do," Sarah says as she smiles brightly.

"You're going to read the instructions and stay as far away from the stove as possible," Ana tells Sarah as she pouts.

"Ana! I can help," Sarah whines.

"Yes. You can tell us what to do. We've had one too many fires in the kitchen for the day."

"It's not my fault! I was just trying to heat up some food and WHOOSH! The microwave was on fire!"

"Hermione, did you find a fudge recipe that we'll like?"

"Yes. Here it is," Hermione says as she pulls the recipe out.

She hands it over to Ana, who looks at the instructions. Nodding her head, she then hands it to Sarah. Said person takes the paper, grumbling about the unfairness of the situation.

"Alright. Step 1: In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and marshmallows. Stir and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes," Sarah says as she sits on the kitchen stool.

Let the fudge making begin.

"Is it done yet?"

"No, Sarah. Be patient," Ana says as they sit in the living room.

They had just finished the fudge and are now waiting for it to finish chilling. The girls decided to sit, chat, have some tea and snacks while they wait. Sarah groans as she sinks further in the chair. Ginny and Hermione giggle at Sarah's antics, knowing that their friend loves fudge.

"Come now, Sarah. The wait isn't that bad," Ginny says.

"Yes it is! I really want to eat fudge," Sarah exclaims.

"So anyways, how are Ron and Harry," Ana asks their visitors.

They girls continue to chat as they wait for the fudge to finish chilling. Suddenly, the timer that Ana put on goes off. Sarah leaps off of the chair and hurries to the fridge. Ana, Ginny and Hermoine follow their overly-excited friend. Sarah has already taken the fudge out and has started to cut it. She then picks up one of the squares she cut and tries the fudge. Her eyes light up and she goes for another one, when Ana stops her.

"Sarah, no! You aren't supposed to eat more than one of those!"

"But Ana!"

"No! You'd eat all of it before anyone else could try it. You can have more after dinner and when everyone else gets to try one."

"Fine..."

"Good. Now then, let's put these away. Maybe we have enough to make another batch."

"Really?! You think so?!"

"Positive."

"Can I help?"

"No."

"Aw, come on Ana! Please..."

"No."

Ginny and Hermione stand there as the couple bicker about Sarah being able to help or not. They look at eachother and giggle.

Nothing is ever boring around Ana and Sarah.
