"Come on Mommy! Let's go," Annabelle says as she tugs on Ana's arm.
"Calm down, sweetie. We need to wait for Ma and the others."
"But Mommy, I want to go on the train ride and there will be a huge line if we don't hurry!"
"The train isn't going anywhere. Don't forget that you promised Ma that we'll wait for everyone else to arrive," Ana reminds her daughter.
"I know..."
"How about we play a game as we wait?"
"Ok!"
Ana smiles as she squats next to her eleven year old. It was their first time going to the amusement park. Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione and their children are going to meet them here. They have been planning this trip for the past two months.
"Are you ready to see Rosie and Lily?"
"Yes! I can't wait to go on rides with them," Annabelle says.
"Good."
"Hey, Ana! We're over here," a voice shouts out.
Ana looks up to see Sarah waving at them. Standing behind her are Harry and Ginny with their three kids. Annabelle hurries over towards them as Ana follows her from behind.
"Ma! You made it," Annabelle says as she hugs Sarah.
"Yup! Hermione and Ron are parking the car."
"Hey Annabelle! Are you excited?" Ginny asks her.
"Yup! I'm so glad to hang out with everyone."
"I think everyone can agree with you on that," a voice says as they turn to see Hermonie and Ron with their two kids.
"Rosie!"
"Annabelle!"
The two best friends run at each other as they hug.
"Glad you guys could make it," Ana says as she smiles at them.
"Us too. Rosie has been looking forward to this trip since we told them about it two weeks ago," Hermione says as Annabelle and Rosie chat with each other.
"Alright, we should be heading in. I think the kids would like to get this day started," Harry says as the children cheer in agreement.
They then start to head towards the entrance gate. James, Albus, Annabelle and Rosie take the front of the group while Hugo and Lily stay near their respective mothers. They chat about all the fun that they are going to have and all the rides they plan on going on.
"So, you still think that this was a bad idea?" Ana whispers to Sarah.
"I never said that it was a bad idea! I just thought that this would be a bit too early. They aren't tall enough to go on some of the bigger rides."
"We could always return in a couple of years."
"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, what are you going to do while they are having fun?" Sarah asks.
"I'm going to be having fun with them. It's not every day that you go to an amusement park with your friends and family. The last time I came here, I was around their age. Granted, there wasn't much here, but there was some," Ana says as she smiles.
"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Sarah grabs Ana as she starts pulling her towards the entrance.
"Slow down, Sarah! We still have to check in."
"Then lets get checked in and have some fun!"
Ana smiles and shakes her head as they reach the entrance. Today was going to be awesome.
