Time to reply!
ItsYaBoi325: You'll just have to find out!
Blackhairedboy916: Thanks! Can't wait to hear what you think in the future.
Disclaimer: I don't own PJO, I know, horrible, but sadly I don't. I also don't own Harry Potter, but that's just mentioned, none of the characters actually show up.
"How was it?" Ethan asked. I looked over and held up a thumbs up, he laughed and said, "Good, 'cause my dad said I was a horrible cook.
I looked down at the now empty paper plate, "Well, then he is wrong." Ethan nodded as if that explained his life, and it most likely did. "You do need to learn one vital part of pancakes," he leaned forward as if learning a secret, so I followed along. "They must be blue." He blinked once then looked at me as if I were crazy.
"What?" he asked after five minutes of silence.
"They have to be blue," I answered in a matter of fact tone.
He blinked again then nodded. "I'll keep that in mind." I smiled and then jumped up.
Ethan followed me out into the cool spring sunlight. It was nice, it was still a little chilly, but the sun bathed mostly everything, making it feel warmer than it is. As I breathed in the fresh salty air Ethan stood beside me and I heard him shift from side to side. I looked over and saw him appear nervous. "Are you okay?"
Ethan jumped, then breathed a sigh of relief, "Yeah, I'm just not a huge of the water," he laughed nervously and continued to grip the metal bars.
I shook my head, "What is it with my friends not liking the water?!"
He froze then looked over at me with a mix of shook and happiness playing across his features, "You consider me your friend?"
"Well, yeah. Did you think I spent all that time with your because Luke made me?"
That made him laugh, and it made everything seem brighter, and I felt as if I were on a cloud, it felt amazing. "I guess you have a point there, I haven't seen much of Luke though."
I fiddled with my fingers, "I haven't either, I mean we used to spend almost every second together, now, I don't know. he seems to be avoiding me."
"How about we go and talk to Kelly? She's always willing to talk, and we can hear some more of her stories." I smiled, of course Ethan would try to take my mind off of the problem at hand, get me relaxed so we could talk about it without pesky feeling getting in the way.
"Sure!" I answered. We started to look in some of the rooms, as Kelly insisted on having a room. "Alright, let's try this one." It was the last one on the whole ship. I knocked on the wood, there wasn't an answer or any sound of movement from inside, so I opened it.
When I went in there wasn't anyone, but it did look as if someone was trying to find something. All the cushions of sofa where ripped apart and the bedspread was ripped off the mattress. Then I heard someone move in the bathroom.
My hand went immediately to my pocket, where my highlighter/sword was hidden. I heard a snuffling and I crept around to hid behind the upturned couch. I looked up at the entrance to the room and saw Ethan standing there, I motioned from him to get back, and he quietly shuffled back and out of sight. I turned my attention back to the situation at hand.
I heard the padding of paws, big paws. Then a huge black dog came out of the bathroom, soaking wet, and this is when I noticed that water was running. It started to come over where I was hiding. "Woof!" its bark resounded off all the furniture the floor shook the floor.
I looked back over at the door and Ethan was back at the door. He was waving his hand like crazy, telling me to get out of there. Of course, this must be a new monster, they don't know me yet. And I was like a sitting duck, or demigod, they were going to eat me. I turned into a rabbit and hopped as fast as I could out the door. The hellhound barked again and put up a chase.
My eyes widened and I tried to go faster, but as I was already going as fast as I could, that didn't work very well. As soon as I crossed the threshold Ethan pushed the door closed. I turned back to human, "Are you okay?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah, let's just go check the deck," My heart was racing, man, I had to check harder when I went into a room. Ethan looked like he wanted to protest, but he followed me anyway.
I took a deep breath to calm down then went over to the deck. Some of the zombie mortals were there, a father and two daughters by the looks of it. They were playing in the pool with those dead eyes and blank faces... I shuddered and pulled Ethan back into the shady hallway. "Where do you think she is?" Ethan asked.
"I don't know, but let's keep looking. She's got to be somewhere."
My friend looked a little worried, "How about we go watch some TV and let you calm down. Then we can keep looking, okay?"
I sighed, "Yeah, okay. What should we watch?"
"Alright, but let's not have an argument on what to watch, we've spent more time doing that than watching TV."
"You've got a point," I laughed a little and we jogged over to the living room. We decided we'd just watch what ever was on. It turned out it they were playing all the Harry Potter movies.
After about half an hour of watching Harry make some pretty bad decisions, we went back to our hunt.
We came across one of the suites and I heard talking from inside, which shouldn't be happening, as we didn't use them. Luke and Kelly were in there, I was certain. And they were talking about our next move, Luke always consulted me before he talked to the creatures. What I heard Luke say made my blood run cold.
Well? What did you think?
I also only got two reviews, come on guys! Where are you? I mean I get that the last chapter has only been up for three days, but... alright, you know what. I'll drop it.
So, my updates have been very sporadic, which means I can't promise when my next update will be... so sorry if it's a while. I had a huge burst of creativity for this story and it all fizzled out. Don't worry though! I will continue!
See you all when I get back!
