A/N: Hey guys! Back again with a little poem of sorts. Hope you like it!

One day she sees him and it's great.

He brings a smile to her face and she swears its fate
He kisses her hello and it warms her to the core
and they hold hands in the snow
and she doesn't feel the cold

It's winter and though there might be clouds outside,
he's in her life and taking up her mind.

She's happy and good,
and the weather is going to get warmer soon.

One day she sees him and it's sad.

He brings tears to her face and it makes her mad.
He hugs her because there are no more kisses now
and it burns where he touches her because it's not allowed.

It's summer and they're friends,
or at least they're trying to be.
But it's hard,
and she's wondering if one day she'll see him and it won't tear her apart.

She's confused and upset and just trying to make her way
as the chill in the air gets colder once again.

One day she sees him and he's smiling with a girl,
that's not her but strangely it doesn't hurt.

He smiles and waves her over and gives her a big hug,
but her heart doesn't even give a tug.

The leaves are falling prettily all around
and she's happy for him and who he's found.

It's time to let their love, that once burned so bright,
float far away in the dark night.
Like the leaves from the trees, in deep golds and reds,
that fall, despite their beauty, as the tree starts to shed.

She's let it go like the past and she feels a little bare,
but the branches are empty and so,
as the cold once again forms in the air,
there is finally room for something new to grow.

And as the ground gets covered in snow,
and clouds once again fill the sky,
she smiles over hot chocolate,
at a new friend with black hair and green eyes.

A/N: So what did you think? I just wanted to write about fall and letting go of the past so new things can begin. And, of course, just the concept of moving on. One day that person who you broke up with, or who hurt you, or who makes you feel something negative, won't. One day you'll see them, and it'll be okay.

Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And as always, thanks for reading!

See ya! :)
