CHAPTER SEVEN
The life shattering event
Macy paced back and forth in her jail cell. She was thinking about her car. She didn't steal it.
The guard watched her pace.
"You know in your state you shouldn't move so much."
Macy glared at him before sitting down and crossing her arms.
But a few minutes later she began to pace again.
"Your gonna hurt yourself."
"Will you just-" Macy stopped mid sentence when she felt it.
She looked down at her feet.
"Oh jeez!" Cried the guard as he got up.
He quickly unlocked the door and started to guide her to the front door.
Shadow's phone ringing made the three jump. They had been in silence due to what had happened.
"Hello?" Shadow asked as he picked up.
His expression was serious before turning to one of shock. He dropped his phone and looked up at the two in front.
"What?" Asked Tails.
"Macy is being transported to a hospital to give birth."
Tails and Sarah looked at each other.
"This is great!" Said Sarah.
"Maybe. If something happens to Amy and Sonic then Macy's next. I don't know where they are and if it's danger-"
Tails let go of the wheel to grab his neck and hunched forwards.
I HATE YOU! YOU BOTH SUCK!
Tails snapped back.
Sarah had reached across him to keep the car on the road.
"What happened in the vision?!" Asked Shadow, already knowing what was coming.
"I-I don't know who was- Wait! Sonic and Amy t-they had a kid! Sony or something! He's next!"
Sonic and Amy were walking behind Sony. They had just picked him up from school. They were walking by the Woodbury mall, which had construction up front.
"Sony..."
"Yes Mom?"
"Can we talk about your grades?"
"No."
"That's not an answer." Sonic said sternly.
"I don't care. It's not my fault. I've been trying to improve."
"That's what I'm getting at that." Said Amy.
"But you keep staying up late and not studying. You will have to do summer school if you don't fix them."
"Are you kidding me?!"
"No."
"I've been trying! Why can't you understand that?!"
"Don't you dare talk to me like that!" Snapped Amy.
At this moment the rental van came speeding down the road. Shadow and Sarah got out while Tails drove away.
"Guys!" Screamed Sarah as they both started to run towards them, waving their arms.
Sony turned to face his parents.
One of the construction workers was working a crane that was moving a large piece of glass.
"I HATE YOU! YOU BOTH SUCK!" Screamed Sony.
His screaming scared a bunch of pigeons away. The birds scared the crane operator causing him to hit the release button.
Sony looked up to see the large glass pane falling above him. It landed on him as he collapsed backwards. Blood and glass flew everywhere.
Sarah and Shadow stopped running.
"NO!" Screamed Amy as Sonic held her back from running towards the corpse.
Tails came running up to them to see the disaster.
"Oh no... we need to get the rest of the survivors together."
