Tails' final destination (SFD2)

Taking place in the future. Tails and his family are going on a vacation when something happens. Tails invisions a pile up that kills of of his friends. Even though it's not real it scares him enough to save his friends. But cheating death isn't very smart as now his friends are dying. Can Tails survive his final destination? M for gore. More than last time. Enjoy!

8. Chapter 8

Yes, yes I've been gone for a while. Christmas break happened and I forgot about the website. Oops. Anyway I will finish this story before spring break. Hopefully. But after I will also start on the next SFD project... :)

CHAPTER EIGHT

Going up?

The rest of the survivors (besides Macy) went to Tails apartment.

Tails straighten up. He had been working of a small, mechanical, model.

"Okay, look. This should represent the pile-up."

Tails picked up a small switch. He flipped it on.

Suddenly, the model sprung to life. Everyone watched as the logs on the tiny log truck flew through the windshield of the police car, the small boards went flying and set fires, the small car tumbled around before getting destroyed by a garbage truck. Then another car went swerving between the logs. It was about to hit one when Tails suddenly stopped the model.

"There." He said as he pointed at the model car.

"Sonic's car crashed into the log killing him, Amy, and..." Tails saw both of them look up at him with sad eyes.

"Uh... anyway they're still on the top of death's list."

"Why are you telling us this?" Asked Knuckles.

"Because..." Said Tails as he flipped the switch again.

The small car crashed into the log, causing both Sonic and Amy to jump. Then the convertible did a barrel roll before sliding across the floor of the model.

Tails stopped the model again.

"After them, it's Macy. The only person who can save us."

"Why is that?" Asked Amy.

"The only way to beat death's design is to introduce new life. Macy qualifies for that so now we just wait."

"Hold on." Said Shadow as he put a hand up.

He then walked over to his stuff and picked up his walkie-talkie.

"Shadow are you there? This is urgent!"

"Yeah, I'm here! What's wrong?"

"Remember the lady you told me to arrest for stealing a car?"

"Did something happen to her?!"

"Kinda. She is being escorted to a hospital."

"Why?!"

"Her-her water broke!"

Tails spun around.

"Uh-uh... okay. Which hospital is she going to?"

"WoodBury Medical."

"Okay thanks! I will try to get there as soon as possible."

Then he turned off the device.

For a moment no one spoke. Then Tails broke the silence.

"W-we have to go."

"Why?" Asked Sarah.
"Macy needs to be protected at all costs."

"We can't." Said Sonic as he got up.

"What, why?!"

"We want to go home and process what happened today." Said Amy.

"But what if something happens to you?!"

"Don't worry Tails, if anything happens to one of us the other one will call you."

"Okay..."

"We should go too." Said Knuckles.

The four quickly left.

"Then we'll go to the hospital."

The two pairs split up with Rouge and Knuckles taking the stairs while Amy and Sonic started to wait for the elevator.

The three were about to leave when suddenly Tails collapsed.

I don't wanna die!

Tails opened his eyes again.

He slowly got up. Then, without talking, ran out of the door.

The two got onto the elevator. Also on the elevator was a man with a basket of prosthetic hooks. The doors began to close when they saw Tails, running towards them, waving his arms.

Sarah and Shadow caught up to Tails.

"What is going on?" Asked Sarah.

"One of them is going to die, now come on!" Tails said as he grabbed her hand. The three began to run down the stairs.

They reached the bottom and stood in front of the elevator.

The man with the basket suddenly leaned forward and sniffed Amy's hair.

It took Amy a second to realize what was going on.

She turned around, causing the man to straighten up.

Disgusted, she was ready to run out of the elevator.

The door began to open.

Amy started to walk out when her hair caught on one of the prosthetic hooks.

She cried out.

Sonic ran over to her and started to try to untangle her hair.

Amy was half way out of the elevator.

Suddenly the elevator doors closed on her neck, pinning her to the spot.

Tails, Sarah, and Shadow ran over to the doors to try to pry them open.

The elevator began to go up, lifting Amy up too.

She began to choke.

Shadow held her body up so she could breath.

Now her neck was being crushed from all sides.

"I don't wanna die!" Sobbed Amy.

"NO!" Screamed Tails, knowing what was coming.

Suddenly Amy began to gag as blood spilled out of her mouth. The four fell backwards with Tails hitting his head on the ground very hard.

Tails looked over to see Amy's decapitated body.

He put his head back and passed out.
