A/N: Hey guys! Back again with the first update of May! Hope you like it!
It started with the Taco Bell sauce packets.
You're my best friend the little red packet read as he tossed it to her over a chalupa. She rolled her eyes at the twelve-year-old sitting in front of her, grinning like he was the cleverest person on the world.
"You have sour cream on your chin," she informed him, refusing to acknowledge or refute what it said. But she threw it back, hitting his arm as he laughed out loud.
He was her best friend.
-.-
Next was the Share A Coke business.
Share A Coke with your Girlfriend read the red can that he handed her as she was getting stuff out of her locker. She raised her eyebrows at the sixteen-year-old standing in front of her, blushing like he was nervous despite his boldness.
"We have a test in Math today," she reminded him, refusing to acknowledge or refute what it said. But she linked her fingers with his as they walked down the hall.
He became her boyfriend.
-.-
And then came the Candy Heart.
I Luv U the little pink heart read he dropped in her hand as he ate the candy. She shook her head at the eighteen-year-old laying beside her on a cramped dorm bed, smiling softly in the light of the laptop playing a movie in front of them.
"This is my favorite part," she exclaimed, refusing to acknowledge or refute what it said. But she still leaned over to kiss him, the movie forgotten.
She loved him too.
-.-
And of course there are countless others, a slew of products that had any kind of message, popsicle sticks with jokes, chocolate wrappers, even Extra gum. He'd spell out things with scrabble tiles and give her mugs with puns, continuing to spell out his love.
Annabeth's pretty sure Percy's single handedly contributing to America's capitalism and it's become her habit to read anything he ever hands her. Which is maybe the only reason she catches it.
-.-
Because then came the Taco Bell sauce packets. Again.
Will you marry me? reads the little red packet that he hands her with shaking hands. She widens her eyes at the twenty-five-year-old kneeling across from her with a little black box on the floor of their tiny apartment, food pushed aside.
"I want a summer wedding," she replies, undoubtedly acknowledging what it says. But she can't stop grinning as he slides the ring onto her finger and leans into his embrace.
They have a summer wedding.
-.-
Bonus: Share a Coke pt.2
Share a Coke with your Child reads the red can, she hands him one day when he finds her looking a little worse for wear. He jumps at his twenty-eight-year-old wife smiling at him from her place at the dining table.
"Wait, really?" he asks, completely acknowledging what it says.
And finally, all the answers to all the questions that weren't really spoken and not officially answered truly get revealed when their five-year-old hands them a candy heart that says YES.
A/N: Just wanted to write a cute and fluffy drabble this time because, well sometimes you just want something cute and fluffy ya know? Plus, I thought the concept of spelling out your love was cute. I hope you guys liked it! (I had the Share A Coke with prompt for a while but it's not relevant anymore so it turned into this instead, but I'm not mad at it)
Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts!
And as always, thanks for reading!
See ya! :)
